"I stayed one night with my partner in this property. Very nice and welcoming location. There is a beautiful garden with chairs and relaxing armchairs. Entering inside the impression is excellent and confirmation is found in the rooms: very clean and warm room and bathroom. Buffet breakfast varies both sweet and savory with pastry croissants, while for hot drinks it is the waitress who prepares them and serves them at the table. The girls at reception and in the bar are very helpful and courteous. It is possible to use the private outdoor parking with a supplement of €10. More than excellent value for money!"

"A perfect location in a room with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. It was very clean and the host (Matteo) was very friendly and helpful when we wanted to stay an extra night. It was very quiet even though there were four of us on the floor. Two of the rooms had a bathroom outside the room, but it was just for us and not difficult to take the 4 steps to the bathroom from the bedroom. In fact, it was a lovely big bathroom, which we wouldn't have had if it were an ensuite. Breakfast voucher could be spent at the local bakery - 2 mins walk away and the choice was good and the food and coffee delicious. All round good experience for us."

"What a beautiful place to stay! The location is phenomenal, right in the heart of Lucca, everything you need is within short walking distance and its only 15mins from train station. I’ve travelled a lot and met some good hosts but Valentina tops them all, kind, warm and friendly and very helpful. She kept in touch each day to let me know what was on in Lucca and to make sure I was enjoying my time there. The views from the kitchen are beautiful (see pics) The apartment was very clean, (daily) nice decor and good amenities. I’ll be back to Lucca some day and will stay here again for sure."

"Lovely quirky B & B. Stayed for 2 nights - loved the decor and the building - exposed bricks and roof timbers, stone steps - clean, good location, and super comfy bed. Smooth self check in, no concerns. I probably wouldn’t want to stay there for longer than 2 nights purely because the bathroom was v v small (and door didn’t close), breakfast was ok (but not as varied as staying in a hotel), and the aircon was not really sufficient (but it was very hot the week I visited and it’s an old building). This isn’t a negative review - I loved staying there and would happily stay again, just not really suitable for a stay more than 1-2 nights I felt."

On 26/09/23 I received a one-sided and very last-minute cancellation without any further communication or explanation. This is NO way to treat people and certainly no manner of conducting business on a professional level, so BE WARNED !"

Hotel la Luna

"Our mini stay at the La Luna hotel was perfect: strategic location, central, convenient for walking to Piazza Napoleone and other points of interest within the city walls. It has a private paid parking lot a few hundred meters away (if you call the reception they will guide you in real time!) All the staff - from the girls at the reception to the gentleman at the bar - were kind, friendly and super helpful in answering our questions. The rooms are spacious, bed and pillows very comfortable, good cleaning in general! We will definitely return for a next concert!"

"Lovely, peaceful atmosphere with great view. Delicious food and excellent champagne at a fair price - and the service was absolutely delightful. We visited several times during our stay and we'll be back at this hidden gem at our next visit. Quite a walk up the stairs - and only few tables, but I'm sure it's possible to use the lift with assistance from reception (you'll normally need a keycard). We however needed and enjoyed the exercise."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The location is perfect, right in the centre. The room was spacious, full of character, but had all you needed (air con, kettle, safe, fridge, hairdryer) The service was brilliant, so friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and mentioned we were vegan when we booked. She baked a vegan cake for breakfast, which was absolutely delicious! They also offered oat milk. Perfect stay!"
