Breakfast is for once really the second B: used to seductive B&Bs offering at max discount products or a good for the cappuccino at the front bar, here we give in front of a buffet rich in cakes made at home, Croissant fresh, express coffee and no missing salt. Many improvised managers should come to pick up notebooks."

Instructions to get into the property with our car were excellent, and get into our 2 rooms excellent as well. The BB is just fantastic. You can walk to Lucca without need to take the car and suffer. You can get parking outside ( there were spots available for free) but we decided to park in their garage. Breakfast was great too. Property is super clean, tidy and it feels like home. If Lucca is your destination THIS should be the place you stay."

We also noticed several recognizable faces staying here but only saw them at glance entering the building because each residence/room is very private. No more staying in Florence - Lucca and Grand Universe is our new home away from home. Staff goes above and beyond as well. I almost forgot - a butler is on sight to handle any special needs. Breakfasts at their sister property a few doors down The Grand Universe Lucca is also amazing."

"Hotel in a convenient location for us - close to the motorway, not far from the city center (20 min. walk). Convenient, large parking lot belonging to the hotel (entrance with a barrier). The windows of the rooms overlook either McDonalds and the motorway, or the supermarket parking lot (we definitely preferred the supermarket side). Unfortunately, we were forced to change rooms due to black mold by the window and mold on the wall - the hotel staff were very helpful and despite being fully booked, offered us another room. The rest of the stay went smoothly. As in most hotels in Italy, there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, nor bottled water or glasses."
