Hotel Malcesine
"The location is great, the rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but I like it. There was dusty in the room and the fan isn’t very useful"
Hotel Dolomiti
Hotel Modena Old Town
"I booked a single room at Hotel Modena in Malcesine directly from the hotel website several months in advance. Malcesine is the most charming town around Lake Garda, IMO, and since it's tiny and crowded, it pays to book accommodation as long in advance as you can. Besides, there are limited choices for budget hotels around Lake Garda. Anyway, close to my arrival, the ATV bus company stated that there would be no bus service from Garda to Malcesine on the day I was planning to arrive, May 1, because it is a National Day in Italy (it turned out there were buses, after all, but that's another story!). So I contacted the hotel to change my dates, and they promptly acquiesced. I asked for an early checkin, and I was graciously allowed to checkin at 12:30PM. I had also asked for a quiet room on the highest floor, and I was happy to see my room (#311) was on the top floor (there's an elevator). Thanks to Doina's tireless and thorough cleaning, the room was pristine; the bedsheets were the cleanest I've seen in Italy, a brilliant white. Since the weather was cold, the kind and helpful Joshua showed me how to turn the heat on. The only thing I would change is very minor: a handheld shower, instead of the fixed shower head. Breakfast is plentiful, including both sweet and flavory choices, and even some fresh fruit. Always with a smile, Doina is making sure that breakfast fares are replenished, so there's never an unmet need. After checkout, I was allowed to store the luggage for the rest of the day. I cannot praise enough the professionalism, and kindness, of the staff at Hotel Modena in Malcesine."

Ambienthotel Spiaggia
"2 adults, 2 kids (10 and 7). Perfect stay for all of us. Such a beautiful hotel and a beautiful setting. Chilled out vibe, lots of sunbed space around the pool, lovely breakfast and lovely staff. The lake is literally right at your doorstep, which meant we could go for an evening sunset swim while the kids chilled out in the room for a few minutes. The lake was always calm because it's sheltered from the moutnain winds by the little peninsula, silky smooth and clean water. We walked into Malcesine most days, brought our togs and took a few dips in the lake on the way (lovely walkway all the way, just a small patch that's shared with cars up to Spar). Also took a boat trip to Limone . If you want bikes for kids, you have to bring them with you, couldn't rent kids bikes unfortunately because the bike paths follow the lake. Would definitely love to come back. What a serene and beautiful place ."
Club Hotel Olivi - Tennis Center
"The front desk of the hotel is very warm, the stadium is a lot, the scenery is very good."
Hotel Vega
"Another great stay at the Hotel Vega. We had a lake view room on the second floor. When we arrived we were greeted by Marco, the owner and the receptionist, like old friends. This was our second stay at the hotel. The hotel is immaculate and the breakfast room affords lovely views of the lake. Breakfast is buffet style and has plenty of choices. Coffee/tea is served at your table and you are asked if you would like eggs, made to your choice. All staff are friendly and although you are not allowed to take in drinks or food to the hotel, there is a bar and also food/snacks are provided at a cost. Bar prices are on par with local restaurants/cafes. Its lovely to sit on the terrace with a cold drink. Before we left, Marco opened up the breakfast room very early and we were provided with breakfast. Thank you for a lovely holiday and hopefully we will be back to visit soon. This, in my opinion is the best hotel on Lake Garda."
Hotel Val Di Sogno - Adults Only
"This was our third stay in 8 years and we will definitely be back. I think the hotel experience gets better each time and we did not go away disappointed that we did not enjoy as much. The location is beautiful, but more than that the hotel is stylish, quiet and peaceful; the staff are amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed alternating the peace of the hotel pool and garden for the day. with trips to Malcesine, Limone, Riva, Isola del Garda, Verona Opera and Torbole. It really is the perfect place to explore this magical region. A public and heartfelt 'thank you' to the staff for making our two week stay so perfect."
Hotel Laura Christina
"We booked this hotel for one night as a stopover on our way south. We were put in a run-down and dirty room on the ground floor. The bed was completely worn out and disgusting, with several cobwebs and bits of dirt hanging above it. The style of the rooms seems to date back to the 70s or 80s and is also quite dilapidated. The bathroom was very small, the shower difficult for my husband (who is 1.90 meters tall) to use, and it was clearly in dire need of renovation. From 3:00 a.m. onwards, sleep was impossible because construction workers staying in the hallway and outside were having a party. We didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on that. At least the air conditioning worked, and the breakfast was okay. Thirty years ago, this was certainly a good hotel, but today it desperately needs an investment in renovations. If it were renovated, I see great potential in the property. I would never spend a whole vacation here. The prices are unjustified for this condition and far too high!"

Albergo San Remo
"Had seen lots of great comments for this restaurant and since it was close to accommodation easy walk for us. Had really nice welcome and chose a Rose wine, very nice. I had sea food platter, beautiful fish loads of veg and salad, couldn’t eat it all, my wife had a pizza and said it was one of the best she had had. Right on water front well worth a visit, service also very good"
Hotel Anna
Albergo Villa Edera
Hotel Villa Carmen
"A gem of a find situated along an uncrowded section of the picturesque mid-lake shore but within an easy lakefront walk of the bustling (somewhat touristy) and historic town of Malcesine. Comfortable, nicely updated rooms with fabulous views across Lake Garda. A highlight is the 100 metre stretch of private and nicely maintained lakefront reserve backed by a screening hedge of flowering jasmine with swimming off the little beaches an unexpected treat in unusually warm May weather. Friendly, relaxed and helpful hosts in Flo and David, an appealing bar terrace and the availability of parking all add to the appeal."
Park Hotel Val di Monte
"Hotel Val di Monte is nothing short of extraordinary. Perched in the hills above Malcesine, it offers the most stunning panoramic views of Lake Garda – sunrise from the terrace is pure magic. The hotel itself is spotless, elegantly designed, and exudes warmth and tranquility. The staff goes above and beyond – welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh local ingredients and that unforgettable view. The pool area is a dream, surrounded by olive trees and silence. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a touch of Italian paradise, this is the place. We left completely in love with everything about it. Grazie mille for an unforgettable stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
Hotel Querceto Wellness & Spa by Double Hospitality
"I stayed here in April just before high season which meant the area was nice and quiet. The hotel was fabulous, beautiful views even better than in the photos. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, I travelled as a solo female in my early twenties and it was a family feel. Food was great, lots of options for breakfast and dinner was very good. The hotel is tucked up in the mountain but the free shuttle service down to town was ideal. You had to reserve the spa but that was good because often meant you get it to yourself, the only issue I had was the indoor and outdoor jacuzzi were both lukewarm which isn’t great in winter. Overall an amazing stay!"
Beach Hotel du Lac Malcesine
"I spent 4 nights at this hotel last week and I couldn't have been happier. I had dreamed of staying at this hotel for years - I used to stay in Val di Sogno but the walk into town is too much for me now. The staff here are so friendly and helpful and my lakefront room was a dream. I hope I am lucky enough to get back here before too long."
Bellevue San Lorenzo (Adults Only)
"Do not hesitate to book this hotel. Perfectly sited. Waiters ( Pepe & Simoni) reception staff and of course the food at this hotel was brilliant. We stayed half board, 5 courses in the evening and you can choose from a selection of meals for the starter and main course.. Pool area and hotel rooms were clean with perfectly manicured gardens. Only downside was no kettle, tea or coffee facilities in the room, we did have a mini fridge."
Hotel Garden
Hotel Villa Orizzonte
"A very nice hotel with a great outdoor location. All very well maintained. Beautiful pool, small but fine rooms, best view of the Gardasee from the balcony. Breakfast is rich and good. The family-run hotel team is extremely friendly, hearty and premature. It was absolutely random and we'll be happy to come back "
Hotel Europa
Hotel Stella Alpina

Residence Alesi
"We felt very comfortable during our holiday; everything was wonderfully relaxed and unhurried. The breakfast was excellent, and the family is very friendly. The room was clean, quiet, and had a large balcony overlooking the lake towards Limone. Parking was available in the underground garage. We would have loved to extend our stay by two nights, but unfortunately, the room wasn't available for longer."
