"In a manor-style hotel, each family has its own independent house, which feels more like home. The room is clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly. The only drawback is that there are no shops. If you want to buy some snacks, you can only bring them from the main island. Another point is that there are many mosquitoes. Fortunately, there are no mosquitoes in the house."

"Beautiful location but the resort itself is looking a lot more run down and unloved than expected. It feels like it's aimed at surfers and budget travellers. Rooms are basic, motel style but the bed was comfortable and clean enough. Meals are included and filling but there's no choice, just a plate of whatever the kitchen staff decide...usually some form of chicken with rice or potato. Breakfast is buffet style and pretty good but only instant coffee. There are trips available to nearby islands, snorkel areas, surfing places and resorts which is good as there is not much to do at Funky Fish apart from sitting around the pool, going in the pool or playing uno Staff work hard to keep the guests happy but the place needs some love and money spent on it"

"Couldn’t have asked for more during this trip to Fiji. We have stayed at many top resorts and few come close to the level of hospitality and service at Six Senses. It is rare to have a positive experience with each and every staff member- whether a server or gardener or housekeeper - EVERYONE greeted you with a smile and 90% of the time with a Bula and our first names! That is rare. So much attention to detail - they truly are there to make sure your holiday is incredible in every way. Our GEM, Joe, was there every step of the way ensuring we had a trip filled with experiences of interest- and was always a step ahead when we needed to make a change for weather etc. It was also wonderful to stay somewhere the staff truly seemed genuinely happy! They were quick to share a story or engage in conversation in the most genuine ways. Nothing felt forced. I also loved getting a sneak peek at the amazing Fijian traditions. The report operates with the utmost respect for the place, the people and the land in which it exists. Our villa was breathtaking- perfect in every way from the design to the function- couldn’t have asked for more!"
