"Had such a great pub night stay with friends! We were welcomed from the moment of arrival, and the staff were really friendly and attentive throughout our stay, giving the pub a lovely family feel. Special compliments to the chef for the absolutely delicious food — great portion sizes, plenty of choice, and everything was fresh and full of flavour. The landlady also deserves credit for creating such a warm, well-run and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the food and will certainly be going back again. The drinks were also excellent, and the location was perfect, making it the perfect getaway with easy Uber access and plenty nearby. We also had a peaceful and comfortable night’s sleep in a beautiful village setting, which made the stay even more relaxing. The rooms were spacious, clean, and provided a very comfortable night’s sleep, making it a perfect stay with friends or with kids. Would definitely come back again for another weekend with friends or family!"

"It has been some years, because of Covid that we have been able to enjoy the delights of Malton and as part of our wedding anniversary celebration we decided that we wanted to spend some time back in town. After contacting some of the venues that we have previously stayed in and reviewing the “ offers” available on the internet we decided to give this venue a try. We booked a “ superior “ apartment. Apartment 1 . There were some initial communication problems after booking and paying for our nights, but they were sorted after receiving a direct contact with the owners of the property. There are some issues with access to the apartment with a short, steep staircase, but it is a listed building ,so you have to take that in to account? The apartment itself was exactly as described and had all of the facilities that we were looking for. A very simply furnished apartment with everything that you need for a relaxing stay. Flat screen TVs in the bedroom and lounge/dining area. WiFi throughout the apartment with individual routers for all the different units in the building, so no security issues? A king size bed with a good quality mattress and well timed central heating, so there was always a pleasant temperature. The kitchenette has everything that you need, with an oven , hob ,microwave, toaster etc and the bathroom had a 3 piece suite of of wc, shower and basin all clean and well specified."
