"I made a special trip back to Maoming to experience this newly opened hotel. The hotel is beautiful; every corner is a unique Lingnan-style photo opportunity. I especially loved the hotel garden; it was so relaxing to stroll around in. Polly, the receptionist, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She thoughtfully gave the children some cookies and even personally escorted us to the elevator, explaining the hotel's various facilities. Shirley, the butler, learned that our high-speed train departed after 2 PM and proactively arranged a late check-out for us until 1 PM. A special thank you to Polly and Shirley for their service; it made me feel right at home. My only minor suggestion is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited; perhaps they could improve it."

"It is a nice hotel in a beautiful but remote location that suits self driving. Hailing a ride is a challenge Not much to do in rainy season so really for hard core hot spring fans or people wanting a peaceful get-away to do nothing Transfer to high-speed rail station only twice a day on a little tired old van so don’t expect a Sheraton worthy experience Staff are helpful and friendly though some can do with more training. Management is a bit too hands off and perhaps need to step up the game a bit on guest experience overall Pockets of surprises such as the night show on the lake and morning tai chi lesson on the hill. Food very average with 50% of the food served at buffet dinner being the same as breakfast. Can consider introducing more local specialties and educate guests about them"

Toiletries are comprehensive, and the facilities are well-maintained and look new. The front desk lady provided thoughtful and attentive service, paying great attention to detail. It offers excellent value for money and I highly recommend it for your travels."

"I booked this hotel as a transit point for my National Day trip, partly so I could enjoy the delicious roast chicken from Dianbai again, which I'd been craving. The experience was great. It's a 20-minute drive from China's First Beach, conveniently located outside of popular tourist areas. Prices didn't increase much during the National Day holiday, and the service was excellent, including a free room upgrade. I would definitely stay here again next time."

"The hotel environment is quite good, and it has an underground parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving guests. The rooms are well-equipped and beautifully decorated, and the sea view room balcony offers an amazing view! However, the air conditioning unit made noise at night, which hopefully can be fixed. It's only about a 10-minute drive from the hotel to First Beach, which is very convenient~ There's a breakfast buffet in the morning with a decent variety of food. The hotel service is also good; they proactively offered travel tips. Overall, it's pretty good~"
