Iroha Grand Hotel Matsumoto Eki-Mae Reviews

Convenient location. Short walk to everything. It is centrally located to the castle, Aeon mall and Matsumoto station. Surrounded by eateries. Shower water pressure is strong with adjustable temperature. Bed is slightly smaller than queen size but still good enough and comfortable. Room is quiet and clean.

Staffs are nice, location is incredible, there's free ramen/ice-cream provided after 8pm. No cleaning service during my stay but hey provided more towels for us (I stay for3 nights).

Although the room is small, the staff & hotel Location are very good. Very helpful . The process in check in and out are very easy and quick. I like the city (small unique and peaceful)

It's about a 6-7 minute walk from Matsumoto Station. The room was quite compact, but spotlessly clean.

Super close to the JR station, only a short walk. We booked two rooms (unspecified types), and they kindly allocated two adjacent rooms for our party. Our luggage was even delivered to our rooms early.

A very convenient and nice hotel.

Very pretty, neat and clean hotel that is walkable to anywhere. The hotel look so grand from the outside and the lobby is big and spacious. A lot of food around the area. The room is big and clean, Toilet is big for Japanese standard. They even provide light dinner. I will stay in this hotel again if I come back to Matsumoto.

Decent hotel that is located 5 mins from the train station. Hotel offers free ramen or ice cream at night.

Centrally located and short walking distance to the train station. Staff was helpful and provided good service especially on the luggage transfer arrangement. Breakfast was yummy with a lot of varieties. To our surprise, the hotel even provides supper (selection of ramen or ice-cream).

I really enjoyed my stay at Iroha Grand Hotel Matsumoto Eki-Mae. The hotel feels new, clean, and modern. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed that gave me a good night’s rest. The location is excellent — just a short walk from Matsumoto Station, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were polite and helpful, and everything was well maintained. It’s a great choice for both short and longer stays in Matsumoto. Highly recommended!

I stayed here so that I could catch the first train out to Kamimochi. It was a short walk from Matsumoto station and easy to get to. The room was rather small for 2 persons but since we were out most of the time, it didn't bother us much. The amenities were to be picked up on the way from lobby to the room. It was a nice touch for simple ramen or ice-cream as supper from 8am.
