"In town for my granddaughters basketball tournament at Garrett University. This place is the best. Super clean rooms, great view of the lake, the marina is right there. They let us check in early, have a Cornhole court setup and they had 2 fire pits going at night plus the rooms have the best price in the area. Wife and I will be going back for a golf weekend and we will be staying here."

"The main lobby looks nice, but past that it is out dated and grungy. We left and got a refund because the room was so bad. How bad? The main entry light was falling out of the ceiling. The bathroom light was missing a cover. Water damage on bathroom ceiling tiles and wall without repair. The wall in the main area had active water leaks with bubbles in the paint. A smell of something like mold/mildew pervaded the room. There were dead gnats all over the bedding. Please save yourself the heartache of trying to find another place at the last minute. It is gross. Do not book here."

"Our wedding at Wisp Resort was absolutely unforgettable. We just got home and I wish I could give them 10 out of 5 stars. Not only was this an incredible experience, it was also historic — we were their first-ever ski wedding in 70 years, and they made it truly the best day of our lives. From the very first moment, Lisa and Larissa went above and beyond in every possible way. They made the entire process feel effortless, personal, and genuinely joyful. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and warmth. You can tell they truly love what they do — and it shows. What impressed us even more was their staff. Many of them didn’t even realize we were the bride and groom, yet they treated us (and every guest) with an extraordinary level of kindness and attentiveness. The service was far beyond anything we expected. Every interaction felt thoughtful and authentic. The atmosphere, the energy, the execution — everything was flawless. As a groom, I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier. We cannot say enough great things about Wisp Resort and the entire team. If you’re considering hosting a wedding here, do it.
