"Went to function locally, told to ring Gaming Room on arrival about midnight.  Did so.  Security asked for additional $100 (should have been warned!) as only had evening bag.  Had to open suitcase to find and transfer money. Have medical condition requiring regular hydration.  There was no water in the room?  I had to boil water from bathroom, needed to take meditation, water hot so drank the small UHT milk in fridge, put one glass of boiled water in an antiquated fridge with no shelf?  For morning medication😵💫.  On getting to bed, I heard talking and movement upstairs for most of the night.  Had four hours sleep!!   Blood pressure rocketed with dehydration .   Morning I went to fridge for second glass of water and it was frozen solid.  So not fridge but freezer!   Met my friends who kindly drove me to a cafe and home.  Too unwell to meet up with family gathering for lunch on Sunday.  So, noise, dehydration, old freezing fridge, asked for $100.   Not a good experience."

"My partner and I enquired about hosting our wedding at Marnong Estate despite reading many negative reviews on google. Initially we had to send 2 separate enquires and a follow up email before receiving a generic response which also left all of our questions unanswered. Responses from then on took at least 3-4 days and required a follow up to receive a response back - how disappointing. This is a beautiful venue and has so much potential however the customer service experienced unfortunately made this one of our least favourite venues and would not recommend them due to the service we have received. Based on the fast communication and excellent customer service received by every other venue we had enquired with across Melbourne, Marnong have a lot of work to do! The sales team should receive some further training on handling wedding enquiries as they are losing you potential business."

"Unfortunately we faced some trouble during check in, we reached there around 10.30pm while searching in the key box didn’t find any key for my name, after repeated call to the given number they noticed someone else taken my key and staff asked us to shift to ßother room. That’s the only reason of average rating."

"These eco cottages are nestled beautifully at the back of the property. Very quiet! The drive through the vineyards is lovely before you arrive at the cottages. The cottages are equipped with basic cooking facilities but very easy to use. The complementary breakfast items that were placed in our fridge were great. We were able to make a really nice hot breakfast every morning. There was no internet access in the cottages so if you are wanting to be able to work unfortunately you have to drive into town for this! But other than that being "off the grid" was a nice change and we really enjoyed our weekend away at the Gisborne Peak Winery Cottages. Highly recommend."

"It’s so convenient for me to travel to the airport Terminal 2 as the hotel is 10 mins walk and 5 mins drive from the hotel to the airport. One good thing about this hotel is that they provide free shuttle bus to the airport so I don’t have to carry my heavy luggage and walk to the airport."
