"The accommodation has a good atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are lovely, there is a shuttle service to various stations, and the food is very delicious."
"[Location]
It's easy because there is a shuttle bus from Minakami Station.
【service】
He is very polite and looks at our customers.
(If you accidentally dropped the ingredients during the breakfast buffet, an employee at a distance told me ”I'm OK as it is.”)
[Cleanliness]
I thought the exterior was a bit rough (the exterior of the lobby was beautiful), but the interior was very beautiful. Surprisingly beautiful.
[Facilities and amenities]
・ You can drink coffee and apple juice freely in the lounge. (I drank apple juice but it was very delicious.)
-Take toilet paper in the room toilet
It is a bit disappointing that the rattling sound reverberates in the bedroom.
・ There is a fireplace beside the lobby and it looks like an Instagram.
[General]
The hotel itself was very beautiful and the service was good.
I would definitely stay here when I went over the water.

"A newly built modern hotel that comes with a private onsen in your balcony. Dinner with fusion which is not the usual for ryokan stays. You get to choose between Japanese or Western cuisine which we opt for Japanese and it was delicious! it's just a 6mins walk down to the Supermarket. Will definitely come back some day again!"
"Environment: The room smelled of kerosene. I had a headache and sore throat. I asked to change rooms in the middle of the night. It was much better after changing to another room, but the corridor also smelled of kerosene. Service: The meal time was too fixed. The latest in the morning was 8:00. If you couldn't get up, you could only eat cold breakfast. In addition, dinner was on time at 18:00 and the stall had to close at 19:00. If you arrived late, you still had to eat cold dishes and cold rice. We booked for 5 days, and the side dishes were almost unchanged. The main dishes were basically the same. It's okay to stay for 2 days, but it's not recommended for more than 2 days. The hotel is not very flexible."

"It was a short walk away from the Minakami Onsen bus stop and the room was clean. Loved the private onset overlooking the river as well. We didn't have breakfast there as the price was a little steep for us (~27 SGD) but there's a nearby bakery and other F&B, so food was not an issue. They provide PJs and a cardigan to put over as well. Staff was nice too."
"The location is a bit remote, the elderly male reception staff is very enthusiastic, the room space is large and well maintained, but it feels like the age of the building. The meal is quite delicious, but there are a few dishes that are western-style, and I am not very used to eating. I want to eat local traditional cuisine. Overall a relaxing hotel."
"I want to go to a slightly extravagant hot spring tour with my friends. I chose this boutique hot spring, which coincides with heavy snow. The staff went to the station to pick us up. We wanted to watch the concert Blu-ray disc at the hotel. The hotel also borrowed a Blu-ray machine for us. The service is quite good! The balcony has a private soup, the view is beautiful, the dinner and breakfast are delicious, and there will be a chance to go again in the future!"

Amazing
LLammieWorth the price if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food and ryokan experience. Comfy private indoor onsen. The staff are really nice and can communicate in English via good translate. They has a shuttle to Minakami Station when we checked out.
Yyimassistant teamVery recommended, the host is very helpful. There is breakfast and dinner similar to fine dining, delicious food every meal. The room is clean with an onsen as well. And the atmosphere is very good If you come back around here Will stay here again If you come a month with snow, it should be very good.
DDoudou333333This is our second stay in this hotel since 2019. Now the waiters are mostly Southeast Asians, except for the management staff, most of them are foreign waiters. The scenery is still beautiful, but the experience is much worse than before. The dishes are not in place and are messy. It is the worst time I have stayed in a hot spring hotel in more than ten years. What's more exaggerated is that 50,000 yen was missing from our bag during the more than an hour of dinner (the bag was placed in the suitcase and the suitcase was not locked). This is the first time I have encountered this in Japan.
LLisa KhThis was our first trip to Japan and our very first ryokan experience, and we absolutely loved it! My husband and I were completely captivated by the atmosphere, the beautiful natural surroundings, the yukata, the exquisite kaiseki dinner, and of course, the relaxing hot springs. We spent two wonderful and incredibly relaxing days there.
A small tip: I recommend bringing some snacks or familiar food with you, as the ryokan cuisine might not be to everyone's taste.
GGuest UserIt's a bathing place, but there is no shower room in the room, so you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. The service is also average, it seems polite, but the corridor is carpeted, and no one is willing to help you with your luggage when you check out, so you can only pull a suitcase cart back to the room to take your luggage.
GGuest UserBoth dinner and breakfast were buffet style, so it was very good that children could choose what they liked.
It was good that all the foods were easy to eat for vegetarians. Above all, the dishes were very delicious and I told my family that I wanted to go again.
The hot springs were very comfortable and the children were happy.
It was also attractive to be able to take a bath for 24 hours.
I definitely want to go again.
GGuest UserThe cospa was the best. It was 2 meals per night and all-you-can-drink at night. This is the second use of this term. I was beaten by the school discount ... (bitter smile). It was a little disappointing that when the parking lot was full and I parked in a remote place, I wonder if I wanted you to guide me a little better.
BBenSo many little things that make this hotel much better than anything else. The way they show you to your room, the way they put your shoes away and bring them back on your departure date, the way dinner and breakfast is waiting for you at your own private table, the way they let couples share an onsen during quiet hours. My point is - you will feel like a VIP here. The staff and always there, taking care of you in subtle ways, but you never feel watched or intruded on. This kind of invisible service - maybe hard for westerners to understand, but it is excellent. You will feel like you are really being understand and looked after. Highly recommend. Best hotel service I've had in japan in 2 years of living here. Highly recommended.
