"For any Yuru Camp anime fans, if you also are interested in an Onsen experience this is the perfect place. The facilities and staff are amazing! I couldn't believe the size of my room, especially after coming from a business hotel in Tokyo. I thought Deluxe Twin was just the ”deluxe” version of a standard single twin size bed room instead of two twin beds but there are no complaints.
Given it's more remote location I was expecting zero English but I was so surprised at how well some of the staff spoke English and had print outs for English speakers. I have to shout out two staff members, Nozomi and Joon Bae's english combined with my limited and grammatically atrocious Japanese they went above and beyond making me understand how everything worked as well as assisting me with my ventures outside of the onsen. They have two e-bikes available for rent which I rode to the next station on the minobu line so I could visit the school that was used in the anime as well as get a taxi to take me to Lake Shibere, from episodes 6 and 7 of season one.
It was my first time in Japan, being the only foreigner at the hotel for the two full days, I only visited the baths once however the facilities are amazing and I plan on going back to use the Onsen more."
"It is quite an old hotel, but nature around is excellent! I have experienced some inconvenience because the showers and toilets are common on the floor, but it is inherent to all classic Japanese hotels. Anyway, the hosts were very kind and hospitality. And dinner and breakfast is above all praise! Just amazing"

"There were many foreign guests, and I felt that they were making an effort to promote Japanese culture. You can enjoy the view of the garden from the bath and dining room. We changed the check-in schedule from the beginning, but they readily agreed to it. During breakfast, I was fascinated by the peaceful swimming of Nishikigoi in the pond. Participating in the morning shift is thrilling on the dark streets at night. I had to give up on the summit of Mt. Minobu this time because I couldn't see the sign and took the wrong route, and it was cold and rainy, and visibility was poor, but it was a good opportunity to refresh myself. thank you"
"Hotel service is very good, very warm and thoughtful, first-class service, breakfast is not bad, is the surrounding traffic is relatively lacking, go out to the place you want to go, others are very good!"
"The hotel is an old resort hotel. The rooms are very old. Except for the lobby and the new activity room, there is an old building smell everywhere. There is only one shuttle bus from the station. If you don't contact all parties, you may have to spend 9,000 yen to take a taxi to arrive.
I booked a two-bed room with a coffee table, but after arriving, I was only given a three-bed disabled-friendly room. After insisting on negotiating, I was given a room booked for one day. The next day, I changed to a two-bed disabled-friendly room. I basically didn't use that bathroom. The faucet on the sink was actually inductive. It was troublesome to use water for brushing teeth. Speechless! The toilet was not covered, and it flushed automatically when people shook it. Attached pictures.
Thanks to the hotel Yorkee for helping to coordinate and arrange additional pick-up, otherwise...
Breakfast and dinner are included, and the price is reasonable. Free power-assisted bicycles are very pleasant to ride around the lake. Friends who like hiking are also a good choice.
If you don't encounter a large group on weekends, you should really experience the beauty of a resort hotel. Looking at the bus at the door, can you imagine a crowded restaurant! ?"
"A good ryokan with onsen. Good service, spacious room with traditional Japanese futoras instead of a bed, varied breakfast and excellent onsen - both public and private.
Of the minuses - location (50 minutes by bus from Kawaguchiko, which runs very rarely) and the lack of a cooler with cold/hot water (but this is more due to the traditional nature of the hotel).
It's a pity that we were unlucky with the weather - it rained both in the evening and in the morning, Fuji was not visible. Otherwise, everything is fine."
