"The facilities are quite old, there are dust and insects and hair dryers, it is good to stay for one night, but it is not enough to stay for one more night. It is suitable for driving north to the rest point of Daintree forest . The car is parked at the door of the room and it is very convenient to take luggage. Although the location of the self-service check-in check-out. is remote, there is a big supermarket next to it."

"I booked the Daintree beach resort train carriage one. The stench when opening the door was disgusting. Anyone with asthma could not sleep in the carriage. It was filthy with stains on cushions, dead flies on window sills, the toilet was dated and dirty, the walls are falling apart, the windows were filthy, the shared shower and toilet were outside the room via dark passageway and again dated and dirty. Definitely not worth $511 a night no wonder it was non refundable. Does not reflect well on Qantas. More than happy to supply photographs. Would expect a full refund."

"We had a really relaxing few days here. The one bedroom apartment was great and had everything we needed including a washing machine and dryer. We did notice the musty smell on arrival but after a day we sort of got used to it. Strange for us to not switch air conditioners off when we left apartment but totally understand why it’s left on due to the humidity."

"The staff are so friendly, and the rooms are so clean with great amenities. We are travelling the east coast and this motel was the best we have been on the whole way up! It’s also in a perfect location right opposite 4 mile beach and a short walk from all the shops. Definitely recommend!"

"We stayed as a couple in late December, just after Christmas. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the shared swimming pool area on the ground floor. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the lovely reception staff, who showed us the room details. The room featured a spa tub on the balcony, which we enjoyed. However, the hotel itself felt a bit outdated and old-fashioned. While the room was reasonably comfortable, we noticed some wear and tear, like chipped and scratched surfaces in the bathroom amenities and signs of overall poor maintenance. Also, the spa tub was not well-cleaned, with visible dirt and mould in the crevices, which was disappointing. Overall, while the staff were welcoming and the room had its enjoyable aspects, the lack of upkeep in the facilities detracted from our experience."
