Hotels in Motobu

"Really nice location to go Aquarium. Clean and easy check in process. Plently of parking next to hotel for free for guests. Unfortunately we go during early Jan winter time so the outdoor pool is closed, but the indoor heated pool is reasonable size for kids to play and change room inside to change it. The room is spacious and clean ♡ ♡ our futon bedding kids ♡ ♡ it. When check in they gave us 2 sets of kids toiletries bags (kids slipper, tooth brush, and small face towel) to keep. The sunset view from my room is so beautiful and theres tea/ coffee machine, kettle to use in room. Different type of jap glass cups for toiletries. Bath tub in shower room bonus point. The only down side is I wish the breakfast has more choices(eg. Cooked vege) stayed for 2 nights felt not much difference. For location i recommend to stay here as its near aquarium. Not much restaurants nearby so either finish dinner outside or buy bentos/instant noodles to bring into hotel."

"The entrance to the room was stunning, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was conveniently a ten-minute drive from the aquarium, with a shuttle service also available. Many nearby dining options were available, and the sea views were lovely. We chose not to have breakfast due to the price 3300 yen. Free parking was plentiful. However, we did find that the air conditioning could be improved, as a setting of 20 degrees was insufficiently cool. Additionally, the pool's operating hours (9 AM to 6 PM) seemed somewhat limited, and the gym could benefit from additional strength training equipment. However, I would definitely recommend staying here and would return."

"Overall, the hotel is good. However, I think it would be wonderful if the hotel can make some improvement in several things. 1) We knew that the wifi wasn't free, so I prepared some moives for my child. However, I think the hotel disabled the usb function. And free wifi have to be a standard offer nowadays. 2) No one clean the sand at the bottom of the swimming pool, so the water quality isn't good. Luckily, my 3 years child didn't get sick. 3) I stayed in 3 hotels in my trip to Okinawa this time, all the other two hotels offered special Okinawa coffee drip coffee. However, this hotel only provided the normal coffee powder that you could see in economy hotel. 4) This is the only hotel that didn't provide us child toothbrush set. Anyway, the hotel location is fine, we found two supermarkets right after crossing the Sesoko bridge."

"There weren't many reviews, so I was very worried about making a reservation, but when I actually checked in, I thought it was a good idea to come here. The sea view from the terrace on the second floor was so beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped with induction, kitchenware, and microwave, and it was also well equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and robot vacuum cleaner. Even though it was summer, I didn't see a single bug inside the accommodation. The living room and bedroom were separate, and the interior was very spacious, so it was a very satisfying accommodation in many ways. It's close to the ocean and Bisezaki snorkeling point, so it's great for swimming and snorkeling. This is a place I'd definitely recommend to my friends!!"

"I had a wonderful stay at the Orion Hotel in Motobu during my trip to Okinawa. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short distance from popular attractions like the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and the beautiful Emerald Beach. The surrounding views of the ocean and lush greenery were breathtaking. The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. I particularly loved the balcony, which offered a stunning view of the sea—perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided made my stay even more convenient. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and professional. They were always willing to assist, whether it was answering my questions about local attractions or ensuring my room was perfectly prepared. Their hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. One highlight of my stay was the hotel’s breakfast buffet. The variety of local Okinawan dishes and international options was impressive, and everything was fresh and delicious. The outdoor pool and spa facilities were also excellent and added to the overall luxury of the experience. I highly recommend the Orion Hotel Motobu to anyone visiting this part of Okinawa. It’s perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay. I look forward to returning in the future!"

"Give up if you don't speak Japanese, give up if you don't drive, Give up if you have requirements for the bedding in the accommodation. I went very early and was arranged on the 2nd floor. There was no view. I asked to change and was told that it was full. There are washing machines and dryers, and you can cook. It seems that this is the place chosen by American military families when they travel. The surrounding area is remote and there is nothing. Convenience stores and restaurants are far away. You can look at the map. There is an area with Gongcha, which is relatively prosperous and has food and drinks. It is not recommended. The view from the roof is OK. After 18:00, there was no staff to receive me. I used the taxi app. The drivers around me were all grandfathers who didn't know how to use the APP. I told the front desk at 17:59 that I wanted to go out for a meal now. The taxi for tomorrow morning was also booked. Otherwise, I might be very miserable. I would be hungry all night and couldn't leave tomorrow morning."

"It has a very nice location if you plan to travel at the northwest part of Okinawa like aquarium, genki village, etc. nearby with many good restaurants, aeon supermarket, grocery store etc. And the cafe at the hotel next door for breakfast is super great.  Nice location. Nice view. Nice nearby amenities. A very convenient location for a family."

"It is a good base for traveling to the north. It is even better because it has amenities such as a large bath, coin laundry, and vending machines, as well as ocean and dolphin views."

"We made a last-minute decision to change our itinerary and stayed at a hotel near Churaumi Aquarium. It was perfectly located, with a five-star hotel across the street and Starbucks and Okinawa Onigiri nearby. There was also a convenience store not far away, making it a great place to visit Churaumi. However, there's a graveyard next door, which you only discovered after a closer look. The room was cozy and clean, and it had all the necessary utensils, including a rice cooker, cutlery, and cleaning supplies. The room had a rollaway bed for an extra bed, a washing machine, and dryer, as well as laundry detergent—no need to buy any. There was no one to check in. We sent our passports to the host in advance and were given the code a few days beforehand. We thought the mailbox was the password box at the door and got confused. We later found the key on the door, which took a while to figure out. Overall, the experience was very good. It felt like home, with trash collected and taken out to a designated trash rack outside, so you can buy things to cook. I'll definitely be back next time I have the chance."
