Search Mount Rushmore UT Hotels

"Stayed here for 2 nights out of the 3 we had reserved on our family vacation to Mt. Rushmore. We typically stay in hotels and I thought it would be fun for something different to stay in a cabin. What was nice about it is the location to Mt. Rushmore is awesome, 4.5 miles away. It is also just down the road from the quaint town of Keystone and the restaurant next door is great! It was quiet and peaceful in a pretty setting of pines and a view of the hills from our deck. The owner at check in was super nice and helpful. I liked that they do not bother you during your stay with housekeeping services, if you need something, just ask! What we didn't like about the particular cabin we stayed in was it was basically 2 bedrooms with a shared bath - which the shared bath was just fine. The shower was wonderful, great water pressure and water was good and hot. The TV was in 1 bedroom and the fridge/microwave/coffee maker in the other. So, we all needed to sit on one bed to watch TV and tippy toe into the other room to make morning coffee without waking the people in that bed. It would have been nice to maybe have 2 beds in one room and utilize the other room as a little kitchenette and sitting room for comfortable TV viewing. It was not comfortable in the room, we spent the majority of time on the deck. The beds were hard, which some people like. I slept on the floor the 2nd night and slept better. I was going to give it an average rating but try to be very fair in my reviews, my preferences don't necessarily mean I would not recommend the place. You just have to keep in mind it is a cabin, not the Hilton. My husband described it as a step up from camping. So, if you are campers and enjoy that then you would really like it here and I would recommend it! Like I mentioned before; the location and owner are wonderful and I like to support local businesses when able!"

"Why did I give such a review? Because the price-quality ratio did not match. I don't know if it was because I ordered through Google Maps, where the destination changed to $30 cheaper. In any case, the price was too high even though the service was friendly. The facilities have already seen better days."

"This hotel was in an excellent place to visit Mount Rushmore and the surrounding areas. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The town closes down around 9pm so the only thing lacking was food and entertainment after 9-10pm. There are towns a few miles away that have places that stay open a little later. Plan to take time to eat early and enjoy the town. It’s very cute and there are plenty of fun things to do!"

On a été relogé dans un hôtel à 100m, mais sans petit dejeuner qui était compris dans le premier. Après avoir contacté Trip.com, le prix complet du petit déj. nous a été remboursé dans les 24h. "The hotel is very old and the air conditioner is very noisy. Although it is very hot at night, it can only be turned off."

"It is near the tourist complex of Keystone, so it is good for sightseeing. The breakfast is clean and the restaurant view is good."
