Who knows! This cave treehouse family room brings a fairytale to life 🌿. The moment you step inside, you're captivated by the warm yellow cave-like ambiance, like stepping into a Hobbit's cottage. The room features multiple beds; the master bedroom's bedding is incredibly comfortable, and there's a separate crib area where my child had a blast bouncing around without any worries about falling out. The details are impeccable: tree-shaped archways, wooden walls, warm ambient lighting—everywhere you look is a picture-perfect moment. The service was also excellent; the front desk even provided snacks. The entire stay was perfect! I'll definitely choose this place again for my next family trip! The owner's service is superb, and the price is great!

Temporarily set off from Changsha to Nanyue, set foot on the high-speed rail at 22:00 in the middle of the night, and hurriedly booked this homestay in Banshanting on the way. Contact the owner at 22:10, communicate smoothly, and arrange Hengshan West Station to pick up the station. We arrived at 22:30, only ten minutes, after 85, the young boss drove the commercial car to wait on time, trustworthy. I learned that the homestay is the boss's family business, rooted in Hengshan from generation to generation, very familiar with the local mountain and Sichuan monuments and mountaineering routes. The location of the homestay is unique, just in the middle of the mountain pavilion, get up early the next day to climb the mountain, save the back and forth at the foot of the mountain. The room was clean and tidy, the mountain was quiet, and the rest quality was very good. The boss is enthusiastic and patient, and can give careful guidance on the problems related to tour and worship. A journey that is casual, and receives unexpected warm courtesy. Friends who are going to climb Hengshan to watch the sunrise and pilgrimage can choose with confidence. Next time you come to Nanyue, you will still choose here!

This small family hotel is perfect for me, with a creative and beautiful decoration at the outside, inside and the rooms too. I like it very much. The evaluation is late! ! ! # An unforgettable trip to Nanyue Damiao B&B This time I went to Nanyue Temple to pray and was fortunate to stay at [Xingfuli]! The experience is perfect and must be shared with everyone! It is very convenient to pick you up at the station, and the car is very comfortable and clean. When we arrived at the B&B, the hospitable owner came out to greet us. His friendly smile and caring greetings instantly dispelled my fatigue from the journey and made me feel at home. When checking in, the boss patiently introduced me to the surrounding attractions, food and the best route to the Nanyue Temple. I could buy incense directly in the store and he would take me to worship! The meticulous and thoughtful service is really a plus. When I walked into the booked room, my eyes lit up. The room is warmly and elegantly decorated, full of local cultural characteristics, and every detail shows the care of the B&B owner. The bed is soft and comfortable, the bedding is clean and tidy, and I feel especially at ease sleeping. The windows provide excellent lighting, the bathroom is spotlessly clean, and the toiletries are fully stocked and of very good quality. The public areas of the B&B are equally amazing. There is a restaurant with tables and chairs, as well as a small leisure area that provides books and some entertainment facilities. Even if you don't go out, you can spend a pleasant time here. When it comes to location, this B&B is in a great position. It is only a few minutes' walk from Nanyue Temple, making travel very convenient. After visiting the temple, you can quickly return to the B&B to rest without having to travel too much. There are also many restaurants around. This stay at [Happiness Lane] was a great experience. Visit Date: November 30 - December 2 2025 __ Service: - The hotel owner himself picked me up and dropped me off at the local Hengshan West high speed rail station. - The owner was very friendly and invited me to try some extremely high end tea. As I was a solo traveller, he also invited me to eat with him - trying some local dishes and sharing a few beers after. - The owner offered to do a guided tour of some local attractions. - The service is very personalised as there are only 12 rooms, with the owner himself personally serving guests and explaining the history of the local area. __ Property: - The construction is extremely high quality, with Tang-style aesthetic in the rooms, but a modern, western style common area and cafe. Having visited many boutique hotels in more remote areas, emphasis must be placed on the materials, polish and finish - giving a very sleek feel. - There is a good balance of water features, with a fishpond where you can feed fish. - The valley facing rooms have very good framing of the scenery including river and mountains in differing depth peripherals. - The layout, location and surrounding mountainside adds a strong sense of privacy compared to the city. __ Room: - The rooms have high-end Toto bidet toilets. - Rooms are very clean. - The front-desk has different scented candles that can be used in your room. - The furniture and amenities within the room are all brand new and at or above the standard as every 5-star city hotel. __ Food: - The owner kindly covered all 3 meals, of which lunch and dinner were more local, as I was joined by the owner and some staff. All meals are a-la-carte made to order by an in-house chef. - The beef rice noodles with soup was an exceptional breakfast, especially for me who cannot eat very spicy food. (The local cuisine is generally very spicy preference.) - You can pick fresh oranges in the orchard immediately adjacent to the hotel. __ Local Area: - The local area is not as popular for tourism as compared to places like the nearby Zhangjiajie Avatar Mountains. Many attractions are mainly Buddhism related such as temples or a purported 1000 year old Gingko Tree. - The local Mount Heng can be hiked in under 4 hours. - The local city is small and the hotel location is somewhat far from the city centre. __ Overall this hotel provides a very tranquil environment to meditate and destress over tea, while looking at beautiful scenery. For the price point given, it offers a much better value compared to attempting to get the same conditions in the more popular, crowded scenic areas nearby. If visiting the local city or adjacent Hengyang, this hotel is by far the most unique experience, as almost all other high end hotels are just the high-rise business hotel type.

I came here to know what it is to be at home. The lobby is clean and bright, and there is a dining area. I heard that there is milk tea drink after I heard that there is a meal service. Now the noodles and dishes made by grandparents are really delicious! I will come to live in the future for this meal! Speaking of the room, the quality of the room is far beyond the price. When I went upstairs, the automatic sensor light on the wall of the stairs was on along with my progress. I booked 301 on the third floor. The door said welcome home. The stairs to the fourth floor were still attached to the head. Seeing joy, the details are really super much. It can be seen that the boss's intentions are decorated. After the room was immediately bright, the sensor lights in the whole house were lit one by one. What came into view was a transparent layout, spacious and bright, clean and tidy. A room with a Zen design and a warm feeling of logs was really amazing. 🍵 There are short and scorpion in the area. It’s so cool to sit here and drink tea and eat snacks and play with your mobile phone! 1.5 The twin bed is very comfortable and clean, and there is even a fascia gun at the bedside. Those who come to climb the mountain can use it! All electrical appliances can be awakened or turned off through the smart housekeeper of the whole house, which saves effort. The toilet and shower are separated from wet and dry, the corners are clean and there are no dead ends, the toilet and blue cleaning liquid make people feel very clean, the toilet has small windows, and the ventilation is very good and there is no smell. In addition, there are TVs, small tables, sinks, lamp mirrors, the equipment is very complete and full of details, just as comfortable as in your own home. The location of the homestay is also super convenient. It is just behind the temple. If you want to burn incense and worship Buddha, you can go to the first floor to find your grandmother to buy incense. The price is really convenient. Because there is a short distance from the main road, the noise is very small, the view outside the window is good, if you come by car, you can contact the boss to reserve a parking space. This price is really the best homestay I have ever stayed in! If I insist on the shortcomings, I can live for a day, and I will have the opportunity to come with my friends in the future, and I will stay here!

I visited Hengshan Mountain alone and stayed at a family-run guesthouse. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Most importantly, it was right next to the Nanyue Grand Temple, and a five-minute walk from Nanjie Alley, a commercial street with plenty of restaurants and shops – a very convenient location. But the most important thing was that every staff member was incredibly friendly, answering all my questions in detail and constantly showing concern for my well-being. Their kindness was truly heartwarming! If I bought some incense at the guesthouse, they even provided a guided tour of the Nanyue Grand Temple, making the trip truly worthwhile, like making a good friend on Hengshan Mountain! I'll definitely bring my colleagues back to visit the Grand Temple soon!

The room was very good, the service was warm, especially the two receptionists No. 7046 and 7050 at the front desk who took the initiative to upgrade us to a deluxe room in the main building because we were elderly and regular customers. I would like to express my special thanks!

This Airbnb was booked on a really tight deadline (decided Friday night, departure early Saturday morning), but the experience was surprisingly good! It was incredibly thoughtful and the room was clean and tidy, the service was excellent, and the environment was comfortable. The Airbnb is located within the scenic area. A private car picked us up after we arrived at noon. Because our arrival time was a bit inconvenient (1 pm), they even took us to lunch first, and then drove us back to the Airbnb. After dropping off our luggage, we set off on our hike. They even took us to the roadside to wait for the scenic area's shuttle bus. In the evening, we ordered food directly from our phones after descending the mountain, went back to our room to rest, and were called down to the restaurant when dinner was ready. It was fantastic! 👍🏻 The next day, we slept in, had breakfast, and then continued to relax. After checking out at noon, they even took us to a dessert shop (which we found ourselves). Our high-speed train was at 6 pm, and after we finished exploring, they even offered a transfer service to the station! It was amazing and so comfortable. It's especially convenient with kids. Highly recommended! ⭐️

The small courtyard is near Yanshou Pavilion in the scenic area. For those who want to climb to the top to watch the sunrise on the second day of their stay, starting from the small courtyard saves two hours of climbing time, and it takes 2 and a half hours to walk to Zhurong Peak, which is quite good. The choice was made. This B&B was newly opened in 2024. The equipment and facilities are very new. The style is simple and fashionable. The rooms are relatively large and very comfortable. The chef in the small restaurant is very good at cooking. The food is cooked to order in the small courtyard. It is worth recommending. The two guys who were in charge of the store took care of the pick-up station and front desk service. They enthusiastically helped us deliver our luggage to the door of the room. I temporarily changed to a larger room and the price difference was waived when I checked out. In short The experience these two days was super nine, highly recommended!
