"A Horrendous Experience at Grand Mercure Mysore Our stay at Grand Mercure Mysore was a complete letdown from start to finish. The issues began at check-in with major communication gaps and incompetent room allocation. Despite booking 2 rooms with elderly and kids, we were offered rooms on separate floors, forcing us to wait hours while the staff fumbled for a solution. Luggage handling was equally chaotic—our bags remained unattended, and we had to retrieve our car keys ourselves just to get them delivered. The management showed no willingness to help, refused to process a refund for a downgraded room, and remained dismissive throughout. Service at breakfast was shockingly poor—a 20-minute wait for an omelette speaks volumes about their carelessness and inefficiency. This was a stay marred by inexperienced staff, disorganized processes, and management’s refusal to take accountability. For a hotel of this stature, such a lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting even basic hospitality."

"Everything was perfect fir our stay and the location was very appealing, close to all central attractions. The room was super comfy and well equipped to a luxurious standard. The pool was fantastic and we made full use of. The restaurant had a generous offering and food was up to a high standard. Thanks to the staff for all their help and making our stay such a treat. "Location is top! Easily accessible attractions like Mysore Palace, Devraj Market, Urs road, zoo etc. Hotel manager and reception staffs were quite co-operative to resolve the queries. Breakfast arrangements were quite well and food was really nice. Infinit restaurant offers good option to dine in with 15% discount for checked in customers. Just one thing which i didnt like is laundry charges. It was comparatively very high. Over in all recommended hotel for family with kids."

"Stayed at Ginger Mysore for 3 days and had a pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Ms. Sangmo and Mr. Himanshu received us warmly, and the check-in process was completed within just 5 minutes. The staff throughout our stay were courteous and helpful. The room felt a little congested, and parking space was limited, but the service and hospitality were very good. The same team also assisted us during checkout, which again took only 5 minutes. The breakfast was delicious, and my son enjoyed the stay a lot. Overall, the hotel felt more like a business-oriented place, but it was comfortable, neat, and well managed."

"Property is extremely overpriced, they have not maintained the property, not cleaning the pool for a month it seems and the balcony pillow was completely black, no ambiance, not sufficient place to walk around inside the property also, no tourist places nearby, they don't have even basic things in the room like clean towel, telephone, toothbrush, kettle, there staff will knock the gate every 30mintues for everything since they dont have anything else to communicate. You can easily get this kind of property for 3-4k. They are taking 26k+taxes which comes to around 35k for just one day its extremely overpriced."
