Pullman Bunker Bay Resort Margaret River Region Reviews

Location is good. Minutes drive for shopping and sightseeing! There is a beach in the resort as well, beautiful scenery.

I stayed at Pullman Resort Margaret River from 13 to 14 November, and the experience was quite disappointing. The room floor and bathroom were wet upon arrival, there were no slippers, and the kettle was so dirty inside that it couldn’t be used. Even after requesting a replacement, the second kettle was just as unclean. Service was unhelpful — was even told to “complain myself” when I asked for assistance. As of 21 November, the AUD 100 deposit taken at check-in has still not been refunded to my credit card. Overall, the cleanliness and service were far below the standard expected from a Pullman property.

Good variety of food at breakfast, however the cleanliness of the room could be improved. There is no wifi signal inside the room, and it is still not working despite several complains to the manager

I am a tourist and I am not familiar with the area. The location is not considered convenient, you must drive there yourself. But it is surrounded by wineries where you could pay a visit for food and wine. In terms of facilities, I have been to other resorts with better facilities but given we are down south in Perth, I think thats okay. If you are looking for a nice and quiet place for a relax trip, then this should be the right place for you.

We love the nice villa and peaceful stay. Breakfast and dinner are good. We like the fully equipped kitchen. Only problem there was no top up of plain cold water in the fridge on the 2nd night. We were thirsty and craving for cold plain water after back villa. The shower water is not strong and get cold easily, need to wait another 1 hour for hot shower. Prefer handheld shower head will be better. Overall stay is still good and hope hotel could improve further. Thank you.

Apart from service, the rest is alright. Room is simple but nice. Buggy service takes a while so order one in advance or walk.

Nice views with kitchen, environment very good and beautiful

No one came to repair the broken coffee machine. Breakfast quite standard for this price. The draw is the location right next to bunker beach, too bad there is no competition in the area.

Best thing here is the private beach. Everything else is average. Quite secluded.

amazing location and nice hotel. but the hotel is clearly very stingy on staff. there is not enough and the ones they have are not at all qualified or experienced to provide the service one would expect for the price and a hotel like this. most of the employees are on working holiday visa and it’s very obvious that they only do this job to make some money and not to make a career, so there is a huge lack of service (can’t really blame the staff, since they simply don’t know better and no one teaches them). we also had no wifi in our room and it took them 3 days to come up with the idea to share the wifi egg that they have…. also several times there was a power outage at the hotel. overall, as nice the location and the hotel is, i would not go back, since the service is at best equivalent to a hostel…

The Room is huge and staff are very friendly. There is a buggy to send you from lobby to your room.

The first night we were there, we requested for the room to be cleaned but our room was not serviced. There’s no dental kit in the room. Had to ask for the dental kits every day. Service is very slow. Room is very basic. Total experience is below expectations as this is an established and well known hotel chain. Some good points: - hotel staffs are very nice, pleasant and friendly. - the hotel has a connecting beach which is great

Great stay!!

Away from town, good place to be away from crowd. The service was bad, my mum found a tear in the bed sheet before she sleep but the housekeeping team came and took away that faulty sheet and did not properly lay the bed sheet back, instead they just took off the bed sheet and leave the bedding with one side without bedsheet and ask my mum to call the counter tomorrow. For this price we are paying, its ridiculous and unacceptable.
