Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport Reviews

This was my first time booking here, and the service was pretty good. However, the hotel is quite old and dated, with a distinct musty odor. The soundproofing is also poor. Because of how the doors are designed, they close very loudly, which woke me up early every morning. There are many other hotels nearby at the same price point, so I won't be choosing this one again.

The hotel is just a short walk from Aerocity station, which is on the metro line to Delhi Airport. From the front lobby to the guest rooms, everything was of a high standard, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including authentic Indian dishes, which was very enjoyable. Currently, there's construction on the south side of the property, so south-facing rooms have a view of a construction site. However, through the gaps, you can still catch glimpses of the city in the distance and planes taking off and landing.

The check-in staff's attitude was just okay; everything else was fine.

It has been a very pleasant stay. Room is very clean and quiet; bed very comfortable with different types of pillows: softer ones, harder ones - a very good combination. Bath room is clean; and shower is very powerful. Very good breakfast buffet! Team was very friendly and helpful from the security guard at the front, to front desk team and the restaurant team. All very warm, friendly and helpful! Prince at the front desk, and Biru at the breakfast buffet have been very welcoming, and helpful! Much appreciated. Overall it is the friendliness and warm welcome that has left with me a very memorable impression. Will visit again. Thanks very much!

A superb hotel that certainly lives up to its high standards. It also features a gym and a pool, and the food was absolutely delicious. I truly have no complaints. If I had to pick one minor thing, it would be that the complimentary snacks provided were a bit too spicy for my taste.

Booked 2 rooms for 1 night but the staff was given wrong instructions that 1 room for 2 night. Payment was made through Trip.com but the staff said payment wasn't settle during check out, have to show them bank statement charges and the booking details to let their account to verify. Took more than 1 hrs to settle the issue.

I made 3 separate reservations at this hotel before my arrival because I was going to be in India longer than originally planned. I stayed a total of 9 nights. In my notes for the reservation, I asked if I can stay in the same room for the full duration. I booked a pool view twin room. When I arrived to the hotel, I made the same request, and the check-in staff ensured that I could have the same room. The room I was given only had one bed and faced a construction site. I then found out on my own that the pool was under renovation. The room also had a large crack on the window. I told the staff of the issue and requested a room change, and was told someone will come help me switch at a specified time. That did not happen. They offered no apologies. During my stay, my room key was deactivated twice (probably due to my separate reservations), the door to the room malfunctioned, the safe didn't work two times and the TV lost signal twice. Towards the end, I put up a do not disturb sign, but received an email and a phone call that wouldn't stop ringing asking me if I was sure I didn't need housekeeping. Overall, while it was not a bad experience, I felt I had too many unnecessary interactions with the staff for minor troubles.

Upon arrival, I was told my non-smoking room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait an hour. The only room they could offer immediately was a smoking room, but they wanted to charge an additional 1680 rupees per night for it. This is the first time I've ever heard of paying extra for a smoking room!

We, my husband and I are really disappointed with the rooms stay. On our first 2 night stay, 21st Feb – 23rd Feb, the rooms were so so only. The bathroom, the tap was leaking of which we did inform the reception and maintenance was sent to rectify it. The bedsheets didn’t look fresh etc. On the other hand, the restaurant (Buffet Breakfast) service was pleasing. All the staff were attentive, pleasant and kind. We were even given Holiday Inn membership by the Restaurant staff…which was a sweet gersture. I must say the Breakfast buffet staff at the Hotel are very nice and service is really good. They take the time to come and check if everything is ok etc. Compliments to them. But sadly on our return trip on 28th Feb 2025, the room given was so unpleasing, The Fridge was out. The air-con didn’t work well….The bathrooms unkept. Toilet bowl inside brownish, the shower area the tiles were brownish and the bed had a metal piece protruding out from the mattress. Totally disappointing. I infact dropped an email to the Hotel on the feedback but sad to say not a reply received Vivien D Singapore

The staff are very nice and helpful.

The hotel is situated in a special district near the airport, which means the pedestrian pathways and surrounding environment are much tidier and cleaner compared to regular streets. The hotel facilities are also quite good.
