"I had visited the property in 2012 with family when it was in the name of Sagar Inn. After 12 years, I am very happy to be here again. The property is the best in Ooty. Rooms are great, Service is fantastic. The breakfast is very decent. Impressed with the service of Rohan Gupta who serves in the Resturant. I would like to visit here again and also recommend it to my friends."

"Better avoid this hotel. 1 star — Would not recommend Stayed here for 2 nights and honestly regret it. Location: Poor. It’s tucked away down a dead-end road with nothing walkable nearby.Tiny and suffocating. AC or fans were absent, windows don’t open, and the air felt stale within minutes of closing the door. No fresh air, no space to move. Felt more like a storage closet than a room. Housekeeping: Nonexistent. Towels weren’t changed, trash wasn’t emptied, and the bed wasn’t made after day. Staff: Unprofessional and indifferent. Food was the worst part..very limited spread and everything tasted to be bland reheated and tasteless. Staff were inefficient in providing basic dosa or omelette in breakfast."

"It was amazing. Although I stayed just for a night the owner and staff were very good. I had booked the hotel a day after the date it should have been and got to know about it when I arrived at reception on 23rd Feb that i have actually booked it for 24th. Staff was initially not sure how to tackle it and eventually called the owner. He came to reception and heard me out and said to check-in on 23rd itself without any additional charges which was a huge relief for me. Other than that all the facilities were provided included hot water in such weather. Cleanness in the hotel is top notch. I had booked a standard room and was as expected. Staff is very well mannered including the receptionist prince and others employees they have."

"Myspace was just a home away form home, right from the enquiry the professionalism expressed was splendid.. Every communication was transparent and the food served here is delicious and worthy every penny... The property has been awarded with Gold category, hence all linens and towels are spotless and Bonfire, BBqs made our evening most memorable. If u r visiting Kotagiri, Ooty mist stay at Myspace."

The Bowers Chalet Private Campfire & Lawn BBQ, Wifi, Breakfast Hill Top 360 Degree View

"I stayed with family for three nights at Bowers Chalet. We had two apartments in the same cottage just besides. Each apartment had two bedrooms, no common area, but we saw other cottages with common rooms there. This resort is a remote location type of resort. If you have stayed at such a type of resort before you get an idea of what this is like. If not then remote location means away from city, so do not expect star hotel facilities, do not expect cheap in-dining, and do not expect easy access to other attractions in the area. Do expect unique local features (like here the 360 hill view) and cozy fun with your travel partners. The scenery is great. The cottage is situated on top of a hill with a valley on both sides. Daily we saw clouds coming up over the hill and covering the resort. Rooms are clean and sufficiently maintained. Breakfast is served in the room and sufficient in quantity. Drinking water is also provided in the room. Front of the cottage there is a lawn where kids can play cricket. Backside there is also a lawn which is used for bonfire if you want the resort to arrange. You are assigned a cottage-assistant on arrival who you can contact for anything while staying there. Our assistant was Saravanna, who was really helpful and with good communication during our stay. Any issues we had the local management helped us resolve. Thank you Mr. Vijay. Of course things can inprove. We would have liked daily room cleaning. Perhaps it is available on request but nobody asked about it. The complimentary breakfast is only a few items so it would've been great with more variation. Finally requesting cash payment for an expensive stay smells like tax evasion from resort ownership. "

"We had a great stay at the Highland Resort Ooty. The rooms were spacious and have great view. There are lot of fun activities. They provided complimentary high tea in the evening. Staff behavior is polite and welcoming. Restaurant food is also good. A buggy/cart service from the reception to the gate may be good. Also elevator/lift may be helpful for both guests and service personnel."
