Yosemite Southgate Hotel & Suites Reviews

We really liked this hotel for a number of reasons: (1) Large, clean, comfortable room with lots of storage space and a comfy sofa. Microwave, Keurig, and a decent-sized refrigerator as well. (2) Super-friendly staff, especially the room attendant and the lady who took care of the breakfast. The front desk were very helpful. (3) Great location for visiting Yosemite - about as close as you can get without being in the park - no more than 15 minutes to the gate. Breakfast was steam-table scrambled eggs and sausage, toast, muffins, fruit, and cereal. For more than that there's a Denny's adjacent. There' s a pool, steam rooms, and hot tub, but we didn't bring swim suits, so can't comment on them. Would definitely stay again.

Very convenient location for the park, beautiful hotel. Breakfast could be improved.

We loved the place, the staff was very helpful and except for the internet it was a good stay. Internet in the room was too bad and as per the staff they have these issues. For breakfast it's same scrambled eggs and sausages only.

Real spacious room with stones throw distance to supermarket.

Location is clean, big and quiet, specially on the back side. We stopped there 2 nights to visit Yosemite National Park

All great and very friendly staff. Only major downside is noise. People walking on floors above and in the hallway are very audible. The fridge is also in the same space as the bed and when it goes into cooling cycles it's extremely loud in the middle of the night.

Very clean and comfortable room! The only update that the hotel need is the breakfast!

The room is big, the hotel is very quiet, the facilities are also very good, much better than the motel next to it, but the breakfast area is too small, such a big hotel has such a small breakfast area, I don't know what they think, the location is also very good, close to the South Gate, it is very convenient to eat and refuel around
