Fairfield Inn & Suites Oakhurst Yosemite Reviews

The hotel is located near the South Gate of the scenic area, about a 15-minute drive away. Overall, the room was nice – clean and tidy. Our suite included a sofa bed that could be pulled out into a single bed. Please note that disposable toiletries were not provided. Breakfast was quite basic; an American-style breakfast featuring items like bread, grilled skewers, and eggs. There were plenty of parking spaces available both in front of and behind the hotel. You can ask the front desk for a complimentary parking pass. July and August are peak tourist season, so it gets quite crowded. It's advisable to book in advance to secure a more reasonable price.

We booked a king bed and a sofa, but had to set up the sofa bed ourselves. Worse yet, there were no blankets or pillows.

Very basic. Charges $12 per night for parking which was not disclosed at the time of booking. Breakfast was terrible. Avoid this place.

This appears to be a newly opened hotel. The environment is pleasant, and the facilities are quite new. Breakfast is included. The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, patiently explaining everything. The only minor downside was a slight renovation smell in the room.

The front desk service was fast and friendly; the facility was a little old and outdated (bathroom); the food was good. The BEST part was the breakfast worker - Teresa! She was amazing - probably one of the best workers I've encountered at a hotel breakfast bar. Very friendly, extremely helpful, and went out of her way to make sure every guest was doing good and had everything they needed.

Clean room but small

The BBQ restaurant across the street is delicious.

The room is large enough especially the toilet. Breakfast is good.

Good location with a 1.5 hour drive to Yosemite. Room is great - I had one near the cleaners room which was noisy and they changed my room promptly. Breakfast was good too.

Good room size and very clean.

This is our stay for our Yosemite trip. We knew it’s going to be further from Mariposa which meant that our trip to Yosemite would be longer. Yet, we discovered actually there’s another entrance of Yosemite which is much shorter from Fairfield, Oakhurst! It’s only few minutes from the entrance to Mariposa grove! By the way, the lady at the reception is cheerful , same as the lady in the breakfast canteen at 630am! Great stay. And there are so many eateries around! Bonus!
