Room is ok. There is a Thai restaurant nearby called Bangkok Recipe and the food there very good, we ordered thai milk tea, pad thai, duck noddle and pork satay. A quiet town with not much places to go but good for relaxing.

Excellent! It's super clean and tidy, and having a kitchen where you can cook for yourself is a huge plus. Parking was very convenient. Checkout was also a breeze – just hand in the key. The location is fantastic for exploring, and it's just a short drive to see the Little Penguins.

The rooms is spotless clean! Kitchen is small but has everything we need for a quick meal.

My stay this time was quite disappointing. There was a significant issue with the hot water supply; it wasn't available on demand. My family even had to boil water just to manage a shower! I strongly believe the hotel should inform guests about this problem. Otherwise, it makes for a truly unpleasant experience, especially in winter!

The hotel service was awful. The white staff member at the front desk clearly seemed to look down on Chinese people. I offered my passport during check-in, but he insisted on me verbally stating my name. I pointed out it was written on my passport. Don't hotels typically verify guests' identities from their documents? Yet, this old white man at the front desk ignored that and stubbornly demanded I state my name out loud. His attitude was extremely poor. I strongly advise all Chinese people not to book this hotel.

Overall, it was excellent! The service was great, and the room was clean and comfortable.

First, there is no breakfast for purchase, which is contrary to what is stipulated in the introduction post. When I checked in, the hotel staff told me that the breakfast service had stopped for long. If that is the case, I would not have booked this hotel AD I do need breakfast in the hotel instead of my finding premises elsewhere for breakfast. Second, the hotel staff unreasonably charge me late check out fee in the amount of NZ$25. I checked out around 10:25. I was not quite aware of the checkout time when I checked in. I presumed it to be 11:00. On the day when I checked out, the hotel staff knocked the door for two times, I presumed it was room cleaning and just answered that I needed no room cleaning. My wife was suffering from diarrhea that morning in fact. At around 10:10, whilst I was in the course of packing my luggage, the hotel staff entered my room and said that I needed to check out at 10:00. I simply replied that I was in the course of packing up my luggage. At around 10:20, I returned the key to hotel staff for check out. But, the hotel staff insisted me to pay the late check out charge. I told me the situation, but he ignored my saying. He responded that he had knocked my door for two times. I paid at 10:28 at the end. But, I feel he did injustice and indiscriminately charge the late check out fee. Why he had not called me up through telephone in the room instead of knocking the door. Is it reasonable to charge me late check out fee for just less than half an hour past the official checkout time. I haven't had such unhappy experiences before even when I needed to late checkout at other hotels, which were very considerate. I tended to believe that the hotel staff used every immoral means to increase the revenue of the hotel.m Such act is disgraceful indeed.

The cleanliness was acceptable, but there wasn't much in the way of service. The room was very spacious, making it great for families with children.

The bungalows are situated along the road, and the bed in the outer room offers no privacy.

The ambiance of this place was quite unique, with dim lighting and not many electric lights, which gave it a rustic charm. One of the highlights was the ability to cook meals, which added a nice touch of convenience. Plus, there are plenty of shops nearby where you can easily pick up groceries or essentials.

Willy was awesome. He is the front manager. We came in late and he was there to greet us. We were able to use the laundry facilities and they were clean and very accessible. Room was very clean and comfortable.
