Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and still worth it. Our whole family had a wonderful time! My kids absolutely loved it! It's definitely worth coming back again. Retrieving the car from the parking lot was a bit inconvenient; we had to wait for the car in the hot weather. However, the hotel itself is excellent."

"I had higher expectations for this stay and was a bit disappointed. Firstly, the location of the resort is not great, it’s on a loud highway which makes noise an issue but also makes it extremely difficult to navigate as you can’t turn right across the large highway. We treated ourselves to the buffet one morning and wish we didn’t, there was limited selections for food and the sashimi was far from fresh. We were given a table reservation card and once sat down with our food were asked to move by the staff so another guest could have our table? Very odd and once questioned the staff changed their tune and no longer wanted to move us - seemed the other guest was getting preferential treatment. Parking was also paid which was not clear on the initial listing. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was only cleaned on one day, beds were not even made and rubbish wasn’t taken out - very strange for a 5 star. We only realised staff had been in because toilet paper had been replenished. I was very excited for this stay and was a bit let down, views are nice though!"

The stairs to go down to the main road that made the walk shorter. We did not have a car so I highly recommend driving to the location. We ended up enjoying our stay within the hotel rather than walking to the nearby beaches. Location is also very close to where the scuba trips take place from."

"Don’t know even where to start! When checked in were advised that onsen facilities needed to pay, when in Trip app never mentioned that… the staff (a female non-Japanese staff spoke fair English but she was of no help and she showed annoyance during the whole interaction, very bad). The room was smelly and old, the toilet was small, after a night sleep, my husband had some rash on his face (maybe dirty pillows, which were changed the next day), there were no drinking water bottles available like any decent hotel, and they claim to be a resort… The hotel couldn’t cope with the amount of people stuck because of the typhoon and all the restaurants were full and needed to wait at least 1 hour, never extended their services since the pool was closed, at least the onsen should be extended, not only the indoor swimming… Really terrible. The good thing, the lobby was very instagramable and the food was not bad, specially the bbq buffet which was divine. And shampoos and shower gel were L’Occitane! I won’t recommend the place, for the amount of money spent for the accommodation, we honestly expected more!! The pictures showed in Trip app are really dated… The place is really old and smelly…"

"I was quite anxious before checking in because online reviews mentioned the hotel was very old, and I was worried about a bad experience. However, after checking in, I found the hotel to be excellent – clean, beautiful, and with great service. The only minor issue was that some staff's English wasn't very strong, which sometimes made communication a bit challenging. The hotel's shuttle bus service was fantastic; it drops you right at the hotel entrance and makes getting to places like Lawson very convenient. We also really enjoyed the garden pool. My daughter loved the cake at the hotel lobby bar. Our ocean view room offered stunning scenery as soon as we woke up, and we even caught the sunrise this morning. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance."

"When we arrived and tried to check in, there was no one at the front desk. When we called, the front desk phone was ringing. There were various keys and documents lying around in a mess, and the unmanned front desk was open to anyone. Is my personal information okay? We waited for about 30 minutes. Finally, someone who seemed to be the manager came. We were probably the only guests staying, but the room was small and dark with no view. For some reason, the rooms were non-smoking, but the elevator halls on each floor were smoking areas, so it might be difficult for non-smokers during busy periods. Overall, it felt like a Showa-era training facility. We ordered BBQ for dinner. There was a huge BBQ area that could accommodate more than 100 people at once. The outdoor dining area and plaza were spacious, but somehow felt closed in. What was prepared was a square iron plate and food on a household portable stove. My child asked me if this was BBQ, and I was confused. I thought it was charcoal grilling or grilling on a net. There were dozens of tables, and we were the only ones eating dinner. It was very cold with a strong wind, and the flames from the portable stove did not reach the hot plate properly. The manager seemed to be operating alone, but after setting out the ingredients, he was gone again. It would be better not to operate like this. If you are dealing with individual customers, you need a minimum level of service, safety, and security. I did not make good memories at this inn."

"The biggest selling point of this hotel is the spacious rooms, which feel more like apartments with pots and pans for cooking. However, I think it falls short compared to high-end chain hotels. At 3600 a night, I'd say the value for money is extremely low. The hotel is located on a hillside, which makes getting around quite inconvenient. If you're traveling with kids and want to enjoy the beach, the hotel does offer a shuttle service, but there are many beachfront hotels further down that would be more convenient. The breakfast is Japanese-style, and there aren't many options. If you're not a fan of Japanese food, you'll find very little to choose from."
