The location is fantastic. After exiting the south side of Tennoji Station's central gate, take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. Then, follow the skybridge to your right until you spot the Mitsubishi Bank sign – the hotel is right there. To reach the hotel lobby, find the elevator next to the bank's main entrance and go up three floors. The entire walk is via a covered skybridge, so you don't have to worry about wind or rain. While the hotel itself isn't huge, the rooms are well-designed enough to allow you to fully open a large suitcase, which I found to be a very reasonable use of space for a hotel of this footprint. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive. We stayed for two consecutive nights but only opted for the breakfast option for one day. However, they offered gyudon (beef bowls) and Osaka curry, which were quite tasty.

The hotel is located right next to JR Tennoji Station. From the Central Gate, take the elevator up to the second floor, which connects to a pedestrian overpass. Walk diagonally across the overpass to the opposite side, where you'll find another elevator next to a drugstore that takes you directly to the third floor. The hotel lobby is on the third floor. Kintetsu Department Store is directly across from the hotel, and an Ito-Yokado supermarket is located on the basement level of the adjacent building. For trips to destinations like Kyoto, Nara, or Kobe, you can conveniently take direct JR trains from Tennoji Station or Osaka Station, without needing any transfers.

The location is excellent, right next to Kintetsu Department Store and Tennoji subway station. It's a very bustling area, surrounded by shopping malls. The room was small, and the window couldn't be opened. Had I known this, I probably wouldn't have booked here. Aside from a rather unremarkable outdoor view, it was otherwise quite decent. However, the hotel's listing on Ctrip didn't provide clear directions from the subway station, so I had to rely on piecing together information from other guest reviews to find my way. Tennoji station is massive, and it's easy to get lost or pick the wrong exit. I had trouble finding the Yilan Ramen shop at first. The hotel staff didn't speak Chinese, and their English was very limited, so we had to use translation apps to communicate. Oh, and upon check-in, I was informed of an additional tax of about 10 Chinese Yuan (CNY) per night. My booking with Ctrip clearly stated that taxes were included, but I never ended up following up with them about it.

The location is incredibly convenient. You'll find two shopping malls, QS and Kintetsu, right downstairs, and Kintetsu Department Store is fantastic for shopping! Dining is also a breeze. Besides the mall's offerings, Ichiran Ramen is directly opposite, and there's a Yoshinoya and a wonton shop right on the hotel's ground floor. Tennoji Station and Abeno North Station are just a stone's throw away, making the JR ride to Kansai Airport incredibly easy and direct from Tennoji. Complimentary bottled water is replenished daily in the room. Despite the occasional street performer singing outside the mall at night, the room generally remains very quiet.

Why not excellent? Still need some improvement. The shower is at the bathtub. The body wash and shampoo at the other end, need 1 or 2 steps to take. It is quite slippery, asked for anti slip mat, but only suggested to use towel. I think it is more dangerous than not using. The light at the ceiling faces to the bed head, very uncomfortable.

Very good location with friendly staff, the room is slightly bigger than typical hotel in Japan.

Good location. Very small room. Couldn’t tolerate the smoking room on the first night. But was able to switch to a non-smoking room for additional fee.

Great Hotel at a great Location next to the Metro Station

Stay at Tennoji is very convenient and this hotel is located right in front of tennoji station. Room size is good as compared to to other hotel in the same price range.

Reasonably price and convenient (for access to and from the airport, public transportation, and if you're need to be in this part of town). Rooms sizes are better than average for Japan. Breakfast is a bit basic, but acceptable.
