I usually do not write a review but wanted to do it this time to warn other travellers about staying in this hotel. 1. This hotel has probably seen its glory days. When the cab drove in, the compound was huge but with many wings of the hotel closed and looking dilapidated/neglected. 2. The hotel felt empty when i stepped into it. There is only one security guard at the lobby and 2 receptionist. There’s not a single guest or soul I can see in the hotel. Restaurants seem closed and nothing seems to be operating including the aircon in the lobby. The whole feeling is eerie and you wonder what kind of place you are stepping into. 3. Check in time is 2pm but they are “kind” enough to let me check in at 1pm despite the fact that the whole place looks empty. They made me wait for a hour. 4. The room is on the third floor and needs major upgrade. The mini fridge is yellow in side and the bathrobes look like it has not been worn for years. The key is not card tap kind but is a physical key. 5. When I asked them whether they can move me to a higher floor, they told me all other floors are going under renovation with carpets being replaced. Al guests are on the third floor. I do not hear or see any workers around by the way. I cannot imagine myself staying in this hotel for the next few days. I found another hotel and checked out from this hotel after a couple of hours and forfeited my money. This place should not be listed at all and charging that kind of price. I would sincerely advise anyone from booking this place as there are many options available In Pattaya.

Ambassador city was our favourite destination before pandemic. This was our first visit after Covid. But unfortunately I am very disappointed with their service. Almost all the pools and restaurants were closed. There were no guests. The water flow in the shower was very little and they didn’t provide any vanity kit or shower bath. Even there was no tissue box in the room. The temperature of the air conditioner was fixed. We were not able to control the temperature. The room slippers were dirty too.

No hot water in the bathroom. The toilet wasn't very clean.

Dirty room and swimming pool. Almost staff is South Asian , Few staff can speak Thai.

our family were affected by serious illness and this hotel did not want to know about our circumstances nor did they answer our phone calls. We were eventually assisted by Trip.com but poorly until their MR TYNAN became involved and he was very compassionate about our situation. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS OR book it at your risk of being badly treated!

The hotel is abandoned, the lights are dark, the TV is unusable, and the refrigerator is moldy.

This is not our first time at the hotel. We were there before and after the pandemic. If you need peace and quiet and free sun loungers, this is the place for you. People come from neighboring hotels, but the security guards kick you out. Of course, you can't compare what was before and now. Only Ocean is open, the hotel is undergoing renovations, but you can't hear them. Everything is free on the beach, one pool in the hotel is open. Breakfasts are a la carte at Pasta Pasta. Thais come on weekends, but you can't see them at sea. Everything suits us. Thanks to the staff for maintaining such a large complex.

It's OK, but there are few people staying in such a big hotel, like a ghost town

December 2024. We were there for 18 days, everything was at a high level, as always, both service and amenities. We were not the first time, and if circumstances allow, we will come only here.

It was a completely ruined vacation! Booked Ambassador City Jomtien Pattaya - Ocean Wing 6 nights from 11.04 - 17.04 2025 and regretted it from the very first night... It was not possible to cancel (change) the reservation, because the hotel refused to refund the money upon request. The hotel is completely without guest service. Everything and everywhere stinks of mustiness, dampness and mold. The feeling of life, as in a long-abandoned basement. . NO HOT WATER!!! Throughout the entire time and complaints, water never appeared. The staff at the reception pretends that they do not understand either English or Thai. They turn around and leave, leaving without an answer. There is no cleaning in the rooms. We ourselves looked for water and toilet paper. The same story about the towel, there are no cleaners, the cart is half empty. We were given a room where there was trash left by other guests or the builders who live here, who repair this hotel during the day. The noise from the construction is loud from 6 am. The room has a common air conditioning system, from which mosquitoes and midges constantly flew, and it also smelled musty. The balcony has not been cleaned even once since the hotel was handed over, there is a layer of dirt there. There was no basic soap from the toiletries, we also got it from the cleaning ladies. The bed smelled wildly of mold (( It was unbearable to sleep. Everything in the hotel itself is closed. Breakfast was served in the cafe opposite, because guests arrived for five rooms, everything else was strictly according to the menu. Modest and so-so to taste. Dirt and desolation everywhere, mold and cockroaches even at the reception. The linen, mattresses and pillows stink of basement dampness, the Internet does not work. The pool is dirty from construction dust that flies from the upper floors where repairs are underway. The beach is dirty, covered in cigarette butts and glass. There are no sun loungers, umbrellas. There is nothing. Everywhere there is a feeling of the death of the infrastructure and no one wants to do anything. The Thais checked in while we were there, swore all evening at the reception and left in the morning, slamming the doors. DO NOT BOOK!! Do not believe the description and what they say at the reception that the hotel corresponds service. No transport goes here, only taxis. The nearest shop is 1 km away on foot. Dead and stinking zone, not a hotel.

Driving in, the atmosphere was like an abandoned hotel. When entering the hotel, there was a musty smell. The air is not ventilated, gloomy. Check-in service is very slow. The hallway on the way to the room was dark, with no lights on. When entering the room Found a dirty bathroom (there was poop in it). My boyfriend and I rushed out of the room and checked out immediately. When I came down to check out The employee didn't ask a single question what had happened. Or are you having any problems? Until my boyfriend was the one who told me about the problem that he encountered. The staff then asked if you wanted to change rooms or not. At that time, my girlfriend and I were not happy with many things about this hotel. So I said that I didn't want to change rooms and would like to check out at all. In short, the hotel is very suitable for filming ghost movies.
