"A very good hotel. The bedroom was excellent with a very traditional decor. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were as expected. The bar and restaurant was again very traditional with oak beams, real stone slab floors and comfortable seating and nice tables. The bar provided a very good range of beers, larger wines, cocktails and spirits. The bar service was excellent and prices were reasonable. The restaurant service was friendly and excellent. The menu range was also very good and prices again were very reasonable. Breakfast was included and the choices and service good. Car parking was more than adequate and free. The one disappointment was that there was no bar food available at any time during the afternoon. I would use this hotel again."

"The room was clean and tidy, the tree was shaded outside the window, the environment was beautiful, there were several set menu options for breakfast, the chef made it now, other coffee, tea, bread and fruit buffet."

"Comfortable bed and pillows. Room temperature just right. Shower, good water pressure and temperature. It’s not the most upto date hotel. But is cosy and comfortable. Breakfast, cooked to order. Hot and tasty. The tea and the hot chocolate in the room is good. The tea at breakfast is poor. When I book again I will take my tea from the room to breakfast."

The location of the hotel is excellent, just in the center of the town, whether it is to go to the train station or visit the famous pedestrian street The Pantiles , it is very convenient, and the surrounding parks and theaters are also within easy reach. The hotel is located in a very distinctive building, formerly a court (Merevale House), and the internal facilities are very new after modern renovation. Our room was stylish and comfortable, the bed was particularly comfortable and slept well all night. Despite its central location, the room was very quiet and soundproofed. The room was spotless and air-conditioned and showered. The hotel’s own Thyme restaurant is also commendable, we had a delicious dinner here, the breakfast selection was also very rich, the taste was great, and the new day was full of vitality. Most importantly, every staff member of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. All in all, this was an impeccable stay. Whether it is location, hardware facilities or service, this Premier Inn is doing a great job."

"Hotel is strict with 3 PM checked in. Unfortunately, it was the hottest day and we had the room number one which facing west & boiling hot.  Aircon didn’t work in the room, staff had to put 3 fans & a portable AC but didn’t do much.  Went out the whole day when back at night our room was still boiling hot measured 28’c.  The lady manger was helpful but not much she can do to help cool down the room.  The hotel was kind enough to offer 50% off our room rate upon check out."
