The hotel facilities are brand new, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning. The staff are friendly, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, the food is all tasty and filling. There are even late-night noodles! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views. On the ground floor, there's a pool and kids' play area, so you can easily spend the whole day here just relaxing without needing to go out. When it's not too sunny, you can snap amazing photos effortlessly. There's a small gate near the pet park; turn right when you exit, and you'll find a path lined with lotus flowers. But don't look around too much right after you step out; walk about twenty or thirty meters first. There's something you shouldn't see, so remember that, remember that, remember that, remember that!

The most delightful surprise of my Yangshuo trip was finding Xi Shi Manor. Tucked away amidst the mountains along the Yulong River, its French-inspired architecture against a backdrop of endless karst peaks creates an absolutely breathtaking scene. I booked a mountain view room with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing me to enjoy the morning mountain mist right from my bed. The expansive terrace offers a superb view, perfectly setting the mood. The thousand-square-meter infinity pool reflects the rolling green hills, and the three-thousand-square-meter lawn is perfect for picnics or watching the sunset – every photo you take here looks like it belongs in a magazine. Plus, check-in includes a complimentary travel photoshoot and traditional ethnic attire. It's also completely hassle-free if you're traveling with kids, offering an indoor children's playground and even opportunities to feed adorable pets. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the butler was responsive to all our needs throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, and the freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles are authentically delicious. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Yulong River bamboo raft pier, making travel incredibly convenient. This place is quiet and rejuvenating, ideal for both couples and families. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo.

📍Location: The hotel is conveniently located just 1 kilometer from the ancient town and 2 kilometers from the 20 Yuan banknote scenic spot. They offer free electric scooters, which saves a lot on transportation costs. 🚽Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene is excellent. The lobby is clean and tidy, and the rooms are clean and odor-free. 🏠Decor: The decor is very well done, and the property is well-maintained, looking quite new. 🛏Facilities: The room facilities are complete; everything you need is available. 🛎Service: The hotel owner and staff provide excellent service, offering travel tips and recommendations. 💰Value for Money: Super high value for money. I would definitely choose this place again if I have the chance to visit.

Checked in on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year. The price was around 400, which was great value for money. As soon as we entered the courtyard, there was an adorable alpaca, and my child was thrilled. The room and environment were both very nice, and the location was excellent. It's right off the main street with plenty of food options. You can rent an electric scooter at the entrance, and if you ride towards the back gate, you'll reach the Yulong River with beautiful scenery. A pleasant stay overall.

Very nice room. Unfortunately, noise travels a lot and there were some very noisy guests. I messaged to front desk who said they spoke to the other guests. However they clearly were not firm enough. After 10 more minutes of screaming and shouting, I opened my door to find out where the noise was coming from - both other guests on my floor had their doors open. I had to tell them myself to close their doors and be quiet. I also rented an e-bike that was a little bit broken as the left wing mirror was loose and kept moving as I was driving. Location was great and the view was magnificent. Bath is huge too.

This guesthouse offered incredibly thoughtful and warm service throughout our stay. They provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station, saving us the hassle of lugging our luggage around. We were also greeted with welcome fruits and enjoyed iced jelly in the evenings. When we mentioned we were going to hike Laozhai Mountain, they gave us safety tips and even drove us to a nearby spot. What touched us most was when we called them after coming down from Laozhai Mountain with shaky legs, they immediately sent someone to pick us up. I was incredibly moved. The only minor drawback was the very simple breakfast, but thankfully, there was rice vermicelli to fill us up. Given the price, we were still very satisfied.

Stayed here for r days I cannot sing high enough praises for the Free Bird (自由鸟) Hotel during our recent Yangshuo trip - this place turned a good holiday into an unforgettable one, and I cannot recommend it enough! First, the location is pure magic. Tucked away from the noisy main tourist streets, it sits in a wonderfully peaceful area where you can wake up to the soft sound of birds and distant views of the iconic karst peaks. No blaring street music or crowded sidewalks right outside, but all the major attractions and local eateries are still just a short 10-minute stroll or cheap bike ride away. It’s the perfect sweet spot for anyone who wants to unwind after a day of exploring without being cut off from everything. But what really blew us away was the staff - they are the heart and soul of this hotel. Every single team member was so warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, not just going through the motions. When we had no clue how to plan some activities in Yangshuo, they helped us to manage it, mapped out a fully customized itinerary, and even arranged all the activities for us at better local rates than we found online: a sunrise bamboo raft trip on the Yulong River. The whole vibe of the hotel is cozy, laid-back, and full of little thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. If you’re tired of generic, overpriced chain hotels in Yangshuo’s busy core and want a quiet escape run by people who actually care about your trip, this is the place to book. This hotel is truly wonderful. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, the location is great (just 20 minutes from Yangshuo and right next to a scooter rental place, perfect for exploring the rice terraces and river area), and the staff are generally very friendly and attentive. They also offer many activities for families or friends. We did the dumpling cooking class. The food on the menu is varied, reasonably priced, and tasty. Breakfast was included, but they told us on arrival it was only Chinese (even though they had advertised both Chinese and Western). They don't let you pay the difference to change, so if you don't like the Chinese breakfast, you just lose the money. Now, about the bad part: our whole family and another family staying at the hotel got food poisoning from something we ate at the hotel. I want to be clear – getting sick can happen anywhere, it's an accident, and I don't blame the hotel for that. What disappointed us was that nobody took responsibility or even made a small gesture of apology. A simple ”sorry” would have made a big difference. That said, despite this bad luck, I would still return to this hotel because everything else was absolutely lovely.

I stayed in a twin room, and overall it was decent. One of the beds was right next to the door, but it wasn't noisy at night. There were quite a few mosquitoes, and even though the hotel provided an electric mosquito repellent, it wasn't very effective, so it's best to bring your own insect repellent. The only downside was the open-plan bathroom, which felt a bit too exposed. You definitely need to close the door when showering, otherwise, it feels like you're going to flood the place. The hotel is right next to the old street downstairs, and they offer meals. Breakfast is free, but other meals are charged. This is my personal experience, for your reference.

Overall, the experience was excellent, exceeding my expectations. The hotel environment was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors in the corridors and public areas, which made me feel very safe. The room was spacious enough, with simple and elegant decor. The bed was just the right firmness, and the pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless, with all necessary toiletries provided, and hot water was readily available. The front desk staff were warm and polite, patiently answering any questions and responding quickly. The location is excellent, with a bus stop right outside and many shopping areas nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. The price-performance ratio is very high compared to similar hotels. My stay was very comfortable, and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again.
