"The best choice with perfect services. RQ Santa Magdalena Hotel was new and very comfortable hotel with so nice interior and exterior. It's so best location near of Mall Costanera Center and CBD. Very beautiful views. Also the hotel rooms with the kitchen, Including all kitchen equipments and accessories. Hotel's front desk was very kindly and warmly. My flight was in the morning early after my staying at the hotel. Front desk (Her name was Catalina) delivered my breakfast to my room previous day. Also she gave me very nice room with excellent views. The window was looking to the Sky Costanera Center, I'm so thankful for the hotel's front desk Catalina and her colleague who was a guy. I want to say them thank you so much again. See you soon in beautiful Santiago de Chile again 🇨🇱💕👍👍"
"The hotel is just simply good for rest after a long day
Breakfast has nothing much to eat even it is a buffet
Room has no phone cannot contact concierge but must travel down to the hall if u need them
Bed quite soft and comfy for god sleep"
"It's a shame that all services are charged. The bath was slippery and I fell over, so some measures need to be taken. The hangers are hard to use, so I'd like them to be improved."
"Business travel is not bad if you are not particular about it, and the price is affordable.
8:30-11:00am There is breakfast, the room number waiter is ready and then brought up. Generally sandwiches, a few pieces of fruit, yogurt and custard stars. Coffee powder, hot water and orange juice are also provided.
The front desk was friendly and polite, and simple English communication was fine. No, just WhatsApp or Google Translate.
The appearance of the hotel is inconspicuous, the location is good in Providencia, close to the subway station, about 15 minutes walk.
To the nearest attraction Cerro San Cristóbal, walk for about 10 minutes, climb to the top of the mountain for about 50 minutes, overlooking the whole journey in San Diego. There are also paid buses and cable cars that don't want to climb."
"Nice and elegant hotel. Excellent location. Personnel is quite friendly (don Hugo at reception, for example). Rooms and climatization is excellent. I have recommended this hotel to several of my friends. One minor thing that I think should be improved: The cards system used to open the room's lock needs to be fixed. I had to go to reception several times to have them replaced or reprogrammed."
"The room and hotel were very clean, and the Providencia neighborhood was a great place to stay. The hotel is close to the Metro, restaurants, and shopping, and it felt very safe. The staff were extremely helpful, and the WiFi were amazing. Also, the bed was super comfy. In the room there was an air conditioner that was old and huge and very loud. I couldnt sleep half the time and that is not what you expect from a $150 a night hotel. I will not be going back ever again."
"Breakfast is simple, but it is appetizing! Praise! Never have a room on the 4th floor! Too small and too small! The color of the room is too depressed! The floor is too slippery, be careful. The video is a restaurant, the restaurant decoration is not commented, things are very delicious! In general, eating in this house is the right choice, the room is too bad..."
"Facilities: Very good, the room has everything, just on the beach
Environment: Very good, there is a buffet at noon, the taste is also very good
Service: The service is very good, and I also helped take over the suitcase.
The surrounding restaurants are also very good, there are many, there are Chinese food, fast food, and very special local food."

Amazing
GGuest UserI loved this hotel! The staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Juan was at the front desk each morning with a greeting of ”Good Morning Madame.” Nicolas was very helpful in arranging my stay prior to the visit, which was helpful. Every staff member was really friendly and accommodating. They served a small breakfast buffet in the main level each morning, even cooked eggs to order if you'd like. I went to this country traveling as a solo female. This was a nice location because it's walking distance to several restaurants and a lovely park. I felt completely safe in the area. My favorite was the Peruvian restaurant! I had this amazing seabass dish with scallops and calamari with a sauce on top. This was all on a bed of risotto. Chilian wine...fantastic! I wasn't familiar with this region's wine and was surprised at how good it was. My meal, paired with a lovely Chilian Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was so delicious that I went back and had the same thing the next night.
There is also a hill about a mile away that has the Christ statue, that is very walkable. There is a Japanese Garden on the hill. If you can't walk there, there is a funicular and the Uber car service worked just as it does in the US. One tip, if you're from the US or North, the maps will be backwards on Google. Just google directions to get them in the direction you're going. I got lost the first day until I did my Google search on how to fix.
The only problem I had was the language. Very few people speak English. I even went to a restaurant, fine dining at a park, quite lovely, but nobody spoke English and the menu was only in Spanish. To make matters worse, my phone died! Be prepared with how to use Google Translate, that will help, but if your phone dies, you're dead in the water. I found it very hard to communicate with people, which would not have been as bad had I not been traveling alone. I found it to be very isolating. I even took a tour with an English-speaking guide. I thought great, now I can chat with people, but NO! It was a guide who spoke Spanish, then translated to Portuguese, then English. I was the only English-speaking person on the bus. The museums, a few are only available in Spanish so no point going to those if you don't speak Spanish.
Other than the language barrier, I had a lovely time. My highlight was my hotel and the staff!
JJon BarfootThis was not our usual pick for Santiago but we had meetings nearby and took a chance. The suburb that Almasur resides in is a quirky and friendly neighbourhood with a charming plaza of restaurants, cafes and bars. There are a few private schools and colleges, the Main Street is cobbled and lined with Plane trees so it has an atmosphere rather like Paris! The hotel is brand new and perfect for business with large rooms. The cafe bar down stairs is great for working and meeting. I will be staying here again.
JJingangbabimeishaonvlqtSantiago is a small Europe in South America. The hotel is very vibey, 5 minutes walk to the tallest building in Chile. There are French restaurants with great value for money around (you have to queue). The hotel is clean. The breakfast is average. But it feels like a vacation.
GGeorge OttGood four star.

MMarcelomy personal experience was excellent. I used the hotel as a base while I travelled to different parts of Chile and also a side trip overseas. They accommodated my request to live my main bag in storage while I used my smaller bags to travel. Staff was always friendly and the food at the restaurant was great, the staff in the restaurant were very nice also. I love the location, next to the Costanera Centre and the San Cristobal Metropolitan Park. Went for hikes around the park many times
aAtransfer to the airport or Uber is really convenient as one of the motorway to the airport is close by making the trip very quick.
It's not the cheapest option fro everyone but the facilities, cleanliness and location makes it worth the price.
AAnonymous UserThe watch is right in front of Costnera Center, so it's easy to use the facilities by walking. The staff were very friendly and it was nice that they prepared a packed lunch for us when we checked out early.
GGuest UserThis is a story of 2 parts over 2 stays 11 days apart. The first stay was pretty good, we had a room on the 17th floor where the views were amazing The room was large and clean. The shower is a plastic insert and very slippery when wet. The shower head was large but a lot of the holes were blocked, but effective enough. The wi-fi was good, the breakfast was OK. We had lunch there as part of a group and it was very poor. The steak was like rubber. The bed was very firm and very high off the ground. So overall this stay was pretty good. However stay No2 came along. This time the room was on the 3rd floor so views of air conditioning units were in your face, but not a problem. This time there were 2 significant issues.
The floor was very dirty, feet ended up black after a shower. The second issue is that the room was located in the foyer next to the elevators. All night there was loud music which penetrated our room making sleeping difficult. We rang the night manager but he could do nothing about it as he did not know where the on/off switch was. Make sure you do not book any room around the elevator foyers.
PPanshixueyuanThe room is relatively large. The hotel is next to a high-rise building and the surrounding area is very lively. There is a road under construction at the entrance, so it is a bit troublesome to get a taxi. You need to locate it on the road next to it. The Yuanqiwu opposite is opened by a Chinese, but the noodles are not delicious.
YYNFThe service girl at the front desk is very good. Whether arranging check-in, arranging breakfast or answering various inquiries, she does her best and is enthusiastic. Her English level is also very good. Security is always open and greeting. The beds and supplies in the house were all clean and dry. The room on the side was bright and bright, and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. The tallest tower in America on the left and the famous snow-capped mountains in the distance on the right were clearly visible. Overlooking a quiet yet lively street. It is only walking distance from the supermarket at the foot of the tallest tower, opposite the Starbucks and below, surrounded by pizza, McDonald's, KFC or other hotel restaurants. The transportation is convenient and safe. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Yogurt, cheese balls, kiwi fruit, ”sweet twists” and coffee are all my favorites.
