Nice place bad service

The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff was friendly and always answered any questions. The laundry service was also very organized and helpful. The cleaning lady, Zhang Mingsheng, was very attentive and courteous, and deserves praise. The breakfast was also varied and delicious, absolutely amazing! If I ever go back to Pu'er, this hotel would definitely be my first choice. 😊

I spent a long time debating between several hotels highly recommended by online reviews, but after comparing them, only this one was completely non-smoking. My experience was positive. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. According to the description, it opened this year, so it's indeed quite new. So, if the air conditioning is set too high, there's a slight stuffy smell (I'm sensitive to smells). Lowering the temperature was much better, and the comforter was thick enough to keep me warm. The most surprising thing was the breakfast. The hot and cold dishes were almost identical across our four nights, and the menu featured local seasonal dishes, all very delicious. The location is also quite good, with most of the city's popular attractions within a ten-minute drive. It seems to be the same hotel as the Xiangtu Story mentioned above. They offer complimentary coffee and tea samples, and the lady at the hotel makes delicious hand-brewed coffee. If you need to buy black roses, I recommend this place; it's about one-third cheaper than at Kunming Airport. They even gave a thoughtful gift when you left.

This hotel in Pu'er is amazing. It's very convenient to the old street and the Ancient Tea Horse City, and it's also close to mushroom picking. Pu'er is really delicious. The service was average, but the room was awful to look at. There were obvious oil stains on the coffee table, stains on the sofa and bed cushions, spider webs on top of the TV cabinet, and dust on the bathroom exhaust fan. It was far from the standard of an InterContinental Hotel.

I have to praise the breakfast! Even a picky eater like me ate it for three days straight - the bean soup rice noodles were freshly cooked, the soup base had the aroma of beans, and the pickled vegetables and minced meat were generous; the tamarind juice was not overly sweet, it tasted like the one my grandma made when I was a child; and there was freshly ground Pu'er coffee, which was much more fragrant than the convenience store coffee. There were both Chinese and Western dishes, and the porridge was thick.

The most thoughtful touches were the wormwood patches and brown sugar, perfect for women on their periods, which warmed them up.

Be sure to go for breakfast, the peanut soup and dried rice are super fragrant, the people of Yunnan are so happy. The hotel has complete facilities, you can wash and dry clothes in time, so you don't have to take a box of dirty clothes home. The staff is enthusiastic and professional. I was not prepared when I went to the plateau and got sunburned directly. The staff provided ice and ointment, which really solved the urgent need.
