Very good place and staff excellent helpful

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in China. It is world class. The staff are some welcoming and helpful. Although I don’t speak any Chinese they made every effort to communicate with me. We used translate Apps. Everyone was super nice. The room was very large, new and I loved the Tea Station. I have never seen one like this. The location is superb. Right in the middle of the historic village but it is very quiet at night. The breakfast was simple but satisfying. I recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Positives: the location was great, the staff were friendly , bed was comfortable and ac could be controlled in each room individually (not a given in China) Negatives: staff had issues with checking in foreigner customers ( over an hour for checking in and meticulously photographing every piece/page of travel documents) , the pool was drained, the room had mold, the hotel ran out of water and had not notified until i reported issues with the toilet and running water

I love thus hotel. I will come back here with my family one day. The location is good and the most important thing was the staff. They were great.

This is a Fantastic Hotel and the service is exceptional. I would recommend anyone coming to Shanhiaguan for the the Old Drangon's Head section of the Great Wallof China to stay at this location as its central to all and in the Ancient City of Shanhiaguan!!

The room is big and the environment is OK, but there are a lot of mosquitoes and flies on the first floor, and there are bugs in the room. The advantage is that the location is very convenient, just inside the pass, which makes it very convenient to visit the ancient city and the No. 1 Pass in the World scenic spot is also very close. There is nothing much for breakfast, and I can only say that it is edible.

Very close to the scenic area, the parking lot uncle is very nice. The breakfast is also delicious, and the courtyard is also beautiful. Not bad.

I am very satisfied with all aspects and like it very much. The convenient parking is suitable for self-driving tours. The location is inside the city gate and the scenic spots can be reached on foot. I will come again if I have the chance.

The hotel is antique, the front desk service is warm, the small courtyard is beautiful, from the guide at the door to the tea set in the room, the room is large, the overall feeling is quite good, I hope to stay again next time~~

I was planning to go to Dalian and Tianjin, but there were no suitable train tickets, so I came here with the intention of making a stopover at Shanhaiguan, the starting point of the Great Wall of China. I really liked the old-fashioned atmosphere of the house of a famous powerful family in the past, with its large glass doors and Chinese tile roofs. The hotel is newly built (opened in April of this year), so it is very clean and has great facilities, and the price is cheap. The first gate of the Great Wall is right in front, so I am very satisfied. Above all, the hotel staff seemed a little flustered because I was the first guest visiting Korea (probably the first foreign guest), but each and every staff member welcomed me so warmly that I will never forget it. This hotel offers a family-like atmosphere and a delicious breakfast, so I highly recommend coming with your family.

Fortunately, I stayed in this newly opened courtyard-style hotel for 3 consecutive nights at a very cost-effective price before the peak season. I looked around the hotel with plenty of time and had a lot of experience. I hope to share it to help everyone. Facilities: Very good, there are two courtyards in total, most of which are twin rooms, the rooms at the four corners have windows, and the middle ones have no windows. The rooms are fully equipped as described by the store. Since the room is in Chinese style, wooden racks are used to hang clothes (there are no hangers in the room), and the new air conditioner is quiet and noiseless. The current shortcoming is that it is too new, and the furniture smell still exists in the room. After observing for a few days, the cleaning aunt will open the room door every day for ventilation. I believe it will be handled soon. Environment: Very quiet, sleep well every night, and you can wake up in the morning to the sound of birds. Each room has large glass + tea table. The designer's original intention is to hope that guests can better enjoy the environment in the courtyard in the room. Service: I feel that all members of the hotel are very attentive to running this store. From reception, cleaning, and security, the service awareness is very high, which is very good. In summary, it can be seen that this hotel was positioned as a high-level hotel in the ancient city when it was built, and those with high requirements can be given priority. The hotel is the closest to the ancient city (South Gate 1), and those who drive can park in the parking lot in the courtyard, which is very convenient.
