Obsessed with designer B&Bs, I compared several nearby and finally decided on Yu Yue B&B on West Street. It is more beautiful than what I saw on the Internet, and the texture is also very good. From the entrance door to the room to the top floor, every position is beautiful and very photogenic. It is located in the center of West Street, which makes transportation very convenient, especially for me who doesn’t like to walk far. The housekeeper said that he hired a professional designer to renovate the house, and he took the tenants into consideration in every aspect. In particular, the shower had a strong flow, a stable temperature, and was very comfortable. Each room is different. I will definitely stay in other rooms next time.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. They assisted me when checking in and even showed me to the room. The room was far with some turns that got me confused. I think it would be nice if they had more directions guiding one to the elevator. The hotel was in a very good area. I got lost trying to locate it at first because it’s tucked between an apartment building and the Macdonald but was ok after. The breakfast is a bit limited though. They even have little snacks in the room mini fridge for free but I was a little disappointed that I got no coffee in the room. I’d definitely recommend.

DDashanzhongdexiaokenaizhuThe hotel boasts a wonderful, new environment with a modern minimalist design. Its location is superb, ideally situated near Kaiyuan Temple and West Street, with an abundance of fantastic eateries nearby. Despite the lively surroundings, the hotel itself offers a tranquil retreat; once you step through its doors, you'll find absolute peace and quiet.
The hotel's attention to detail is impressive. For instance, on hot days, the lobby thoughtfully provides complimentary purified water and handcarts for guests to help themselves. We especially loved the hotel's custom-made incense, which had an incredibly soothing aroma.
They even provide guests with a fantastic 'eat & explore' guide, packed with useful tips and recommendations. We followed their suggestions for dining, and every single meal was delicious!
Our suite featured incredibly comfortable bedding. The bathroom design was a major highlight, offering a very generous space, making bath time incredibly relaxing, and even included a dedicated makeup area – we were thoroughly pleased.
The service was also incredibly responsive to all our requests, with quick responses and detailed transportation guidance.
And I must mention the hotel's unbeatable rooftop view, offering clear sight of Kaiyuan Temple's East and West Pagodas – a truly spectacular panorama. In the evenings, you can enjoy movies, cocktails, and moon-gazing on the rooftop, which makes for a truly comfortable and special experience!

GGuest UserI personally think that the boss's service is very good. On my first day, he sent me a guide and recommended delicious meals. He also made a local breakfast for us (I didn't eat it because I was shy). I asked the boss for the WeChat of renting an electric bike, and she actually gave me her bike for free for two days. We can chat and drink tea together. I think the service is really good.
The room is cost-effective, but one thing is that because this is the first day I stayed, I renewed the lease and changed the room. The bathroom leaked a little, but it didn't affect it.
Overall, the house is cost-effective, I like it very much, and I can talk to the boss very well (I forgot to take pictures, sorry, because I think it's pretty good)

红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse was an absolute delight! The room was spotless and smelled fresh. The bedding was incredibly soft, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, and check-in was a breeze. It's conveniently located close to both the bus station and the airport, making it easy to go out for meals and shopping. The value for money is exceptional. Definitely a five-star experience!

If it weren't for the National Day holiday, it definitely wouldn't be this expensive. In my room, there was a large pane of glass that was already shattered and felt precariously loose.
Environment & Location: The hotel is conveniently located at the northern entrance of Quanzhou's Food Street, making transportation easy. There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores nearby – super convenient.
Service: The staff were warm, thoughtful, meticulous, and patient.
Hotel operations are also very detailed; they prepared handy tourist attraction guide notes for guests in advance. You can simply grab a note for the attraction you want to visit and follow the transportation routes indicated on it, making it very easy to plan your trip.
Hygiene: I'm extremely dissatisfied. The linen and towels were too old and tattered, either with holes or frayed edges. The carpets in the public areas were very dirty and greasy; it felt like they hadn't been cleaned in months, maybe even half a year. It wasn't just near the elevator where spills from guests might occur, which I could understand, but even the carpets in the public corridors were very dirty. On my third day, they didn't even provide room service. I had to call to request it, and the cleaning lady who came said she was too busy, which was why my room hadn't been cleaned by 4 PM.

The service attitude was very good, and he answered all questions enthusiastically. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the room was spacious, comfortable and breathable. This homestay can grab Didi anytime.The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay. The owner of this homestay is super helpful and friendly. As my luggage damage in airport, owner help me to get a new luggage online and get it just within a day. The homestay even provide us disposable towel ,face towel , tooth brush and tooth paste everyday. And no need worry about shampoo and body shampoo too. Hassle free and can bring less item if u stay in this homestay. The hotel location is great to grab breakfast and supper too. Some within walking distance restaurant I will put in photo. And 小白车u can take from this homestay to many travel attraction just rmb 2. All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.
