Romantic Hotels in Phuket

What a hidden gem of a guesthouse! The location is absolutely top-notch. Right across the street, you'll find a fruit stand, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven, and there's a scooter rental shop right next door. It's just a 3-minute walk to the beach, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food and drinks. The guesthouse, both inside and out, is always clean, fresh, and smells wonderful. The room amenities are complete, and they even provide disposable toiletries. The front desk staff are local Thais. For communication, you can directly message the owner on WeChat, and they'll help relay and resolve any issues. The owner is also very helpful with questions not related to our stay, which we really appreciate. Umbrellas and beach mats are available for free loan – what a thoughtful touch! The room card isn't one of those that cuts power when removed, so the fridge stays cold, which is fantastic! The room also comes with a safe. The only downside is that being on a street, you might hear motorbikes revving. They do provide earplugs, but we slept soundly and didn't even need them. There were also towel elephants that the kids loved. Even after coming to Chiang Mai, they're still talking about the guesthouse in Phuket! The Thai lady at the front desk was also great with the kids; she'd proactively chat with them and was very gentle. I wish the owner great success and prosperity. Однозначно рекомендую отель, очень вкусные завтраки, доброжелательный персонал , я бы вернулась сюда снова. Жили неделю , цена качество соотношение на все 100 процентов. Из небольших минусов не хватило тюли прозрачной в номере, шторы открываешь и видно отель напротив, а с закрытыми шторами света маловато, ну и про лестницу писали. Но это мелочи все , я сюда вернусь еще ❤️

This is a good hotel, suitable for a short stay. The staff are very kind and friendly. There's construction happening next to the hotel, but I didn't notice any noise from it. The breakfasts are a bit sparse, but you won't go hungry. There's a small pool which was a lifesaver when we got sunburned. The sea is a 10-minute walk away, or you can take a 15-minute stroll to the Corona area. There's a bus nearby that takes you to the airport for 100 baht. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the pillows are incredibly hard! I don't know what they're filled with or why they're so firm, but after sleeping on them, you'll need a massage! My second complaint is the unpleasant smell of the water. It wasn't constant, but it was definitely there at times. This might have just been an issue in our room, 411, but it's worth mentioning. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the room, but everything is as described on the website.

The Lakeside Resort is indeed an old-fashioned resort. It is not located in several large districts, but in Kathu County in the middle of Phuket, which is also a county with many people. If you don't remember that you have to walk a dark village road at the end, life is actually very convenient. Advantages: ① Very quiet. Very small mountain, very small lake (not a stinky ditch, the kind where you can fish), there is an American-style bar and restaurant by the lake, which is quite comfortable for long-term stay. ② The swimming pool is comfortable and the water is clean. ③ There are few people. ④ There is a public tabby cat in the hotel, which is quite friendly. It will help to be on duty at the bar at night and interact with tourists during the day. Disadvantages: The hotel I stayed in this time should be the lowest-grade holiday cottage, facing the lake, and the facilities are old. There was a rat droppings on the ground in one of the rooms (later I thought it should be a bat 😂), and I changed to another room at my request. However, all rooms of this type still have two common problems: one is that there are many ants on the window sills and frames, which must be closed tightly; the other is that the water in the toilet is okay, but when the hot water is turned on, the lights in the bedroom will flicker due to unstable voltage 🤦🏻♂️ After analysis, it may be that only the single-story townhouses by the lake have this problem. It's a circuit problem that cannot be solved. Next time if I really want to live here, I can try their larger suites. It feels pretty good. Several foreigners have lived here, and it feels like they are all long-term tenants.

Overall, everything was fine. The only inconvenience was the uphill walk to the hotel. Also, we were told to check out at 11:50 AM (even though checkout is usually until 12:00 PM), and they only told us at 11:43 AM.
