Delta Hotels by Marriott San Jose Aurola Reviews

I stayed at Delta Hotel by Marriott during my trip to Costa Rica, and it was such a great experience! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and super comfortable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was cozy, and had a really comfortable bed — I slept well. The amenities were excellent too — loved the pool area, gym, and especially the breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious local and international options. The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and just a short drive from the airport. It made exploring the area really easy.

This was my second stay in this hotel. Everything went great except for, once again, the night time security guard customer service 👎🏼. On the other hand, even though I payed for a two person stay over three nights, they almost charged me $70 for my friend to come and play with me at the casino slots. I’ll be considering other options next time I visit SJ.

King room with city view, 14 floor: 2 nights. July * You will hear the music from the bar across the park until 3am. Not much noises from the regular city streets. * No fresh air available in this hotel. All the windows are sealed. * No fridge, no Netflix. But plenty of english channels on tv. * good internet. * excellent hot water, and water pressure. * small gym ok, but no windows, and tv was not working. * nice indoor pool, but water too cold for me. No windows but a clear dome. * breakfast have ok choices, not much for a vegetarian. * restaurant expensive like any other hotel, but the staff is sympathic. * free parking. * very nice staff. * reservation with Trip.com was a complication, they didn't have my reservation. Took 1h to check-in. At the check-out they charged me the room that was already paid on Trip.com, had to ask for a refund, which they did, no arguying but a lot of explanations and proof of payment... but the staff was really polite and helpful. * only 1 person working at the counter for check-in and check-out.. * easy to walk everywhere. * easy to navigate with google map or waze.

The hotel was very nice, I had a very pleasant stay

It is a newly renovated hotel. The lobby is refurbished, but the facilities in the room are still old. The desk lamp in the room cannot be turned off and has poor contact. The room service knocked on the door at 8 o'clock in the morning on weekends to clean up, which affected our rest. The next day, we were out all day and no one came to clean up. We made many calls in the room but no one answered. We could only go to the lobby downstairs to find the front desk. The service was not positive, but the attitude was very good. The breakfast was basic and satisfactory. The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center, the price is also ideal, and it is very convenient to call a taxi.

The hotel is located in the center of San Jose, half an hour away from the airport, but it is more convenient in the city. The overall hotel facilities are relatively new and drinking water is provided. However, if it is a weekend, the surrounding entertainment will be a bit noisy.

No surprises, nothing special. You have to go to the underground garage to park. Pay more and change hotels. You can't save money.

The bed and sheets were comfortable

I saw on Ctrip that it will open in 2024, but it seems that only the lobby has been renovated, the room facilities are old, and the bedding is new...

The room is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the service is very good, the breakfast is very rich, the surrounding environment is very good, and shopping is convenient. It is the first choice for home travel and business trips. It is highly recommended.

The hotel is in the city center, 10 minutes walk from China Street, but I heard from locals that this area is not particularly safe. The hotel itself is quite old, the facilities are not new but the sanitary conditions are acceptable.
