"The Showa-era architecture made me feel like I traveled back in time. The garden is quite large, but it was a bit cold in March, so there wasn't much greenery to see. However, the crisp air still allowed me to imagine the beauty of spring flowers and autumn moons. I booked the half-board plan, and the meals were decent but not spectacular. What I found most surprising was that such a traditional Japanese meal was served with disposable chopsticks. I'd suggest the establishment pay attention to these small details, as the other services were excellent."

"The room is old, but the health is not bad, the scenery is beautiful! The hotel is on a large steep hill. Since there is no meal, there is no convenience store around to buy something to eat. Fortunately, the manager (Chinese fellow) helped to call the car. I was really lucky. The driver was also Chinese. He helped to take it around, eat and shop; provided convenience. "I first stayed at this hotel seven years ago and absolutely loved the lush green golf course and the peaceful comfort of the open-air rotenburo. I chose to stay here again this time, despite being well aware of the inconvenient transportation. I decided to make a compromise; I took a taxi for check-in and arranged a private car for check-out, so I didn't have to rely on the hotel's somewhat limited transportation options, especially since their shuttle only goes to a particular bus stop. Upon checking in, I was delighted to find that the overall facilities hadn't been scaled back. The courtyard was also filled with numerous lilies, their subtle fragrance perfuming the air. Our butler, Yamaki, spoke good English and was very pleasant. Although she was a newcomer with only a year of experience, she made us feel incredibly welcome and at ease. This time, in addition to the yukata provided in the room, I also rented a beautiful patterned one, which was very similar to the one I wore at Sensoji Temple – that made me really happy! Last time, we had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, but my child wasn't particularly fond of the dinner, so this time we only opted for breakfast. The breakfast spread was remarkably similar to what it was seven years ago, and it still maintained that wonderful sense of occasion."

"A great hotel. Due to the late departure from the plane, we landed from 3pm to 8pm in Narita. The waiter at the door rushed to help pick up our luggage and said that we were overtime, but there was really no way, so far! In fact, from Narita to this 177 kilometers, it is best to take the sky accest to Shinagawa, and then change to Ito from Odawara to Yugawara. There is a bus from the station to the hotel entrance, which can be reached in 18 minutes. The hot springs are super cool, breakfast and dinner are beyond expectation, in short it is too comfortable."
