Seogwipo KAL Hotel Reviews

We had a good stay here! The location is a bit out of the city, but still just 10 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by train to the downtown+market. We sea view room was very nice, we could enjoy the sunset from the balcony. You feel that the hotel is quite old, but they try to maintain it well. The staff was polite, and they have a lot of spaces for parking. Also you can walk to the waterfalls from the territory. I'd like to stay again here next time

The environment was great, and I was very satisfied! Our room offered a lovely sea view. Communication was seamless, no deposit was required for check-in, and the front desk staff meticulously explained all the important details. Breakfast, however, was just average.

The KAL Hotel in Seogwipo, Jeju, is situated on a truly prime piece of land. What made my stay so enjoyable was having everything in one place: stunning ocean views, meticulously maintained walking trails, and lush, natural landscaping that truly captured the scent of the forest. Both the facilities and service at this long-standing hotel were excellent. The scenic paths leading to the Honeymoon House, the tranquil atmosphere at the cafe, and the breathtaking views were all absolutely superb. I'll definitely be looking to stay at the KAL Hotel again on my next visit to Jeju.

This hotel is a perfect last stop for your Jeju trip. It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Lee Jung-seop Art Gallery, Jeongbang Waterfall (inside Seobok Park), and Olle Market. Right outside the hotel entrance, to your left, you'll find the terminal for bus route 600, offering direct service to both the city center and the airport. As an older 5-star hotel, the facilities are a bit dated but reasonably well-maintained. If you head towards the sea from the large lawn, then turn left, there's a restaurant serving delicious Samgyetang and seafood hotpot. Turn right from the lawn, and a two-minute stroll along the coastal boardwalk leads to another beachfront cafe, perfect for snapping photos on a sunny day. A word of caution: Do NOT eat at the black pork BBQ restaurant right by the hotel entrance; the pork had a strong, unpleasant, urine-like smell. This hotel is ideal for guests looking to relax and recharge for a couple of days in the Seogwipo area before heading back home. Dining options aren't particularly convenient, and there isn't a convenience store right outside. (Photos p5-p8 showcase the restaurant on the left and the cafe on the right, both located by the sea.) The hotel's beachfront area is also stunningly beautiful!

The hotel boasts a nice pool, and the breakfast spread was quite generous, even including my favorite yogurt, among other treats. They also offer sea-view rooms with stunning ocean vistas, providing a truly idyllic and refreshing experience. The complimentary, very large bottle of water provided by the hotel was a pleasant surprise.

Stunning sea views. Jeongbang Waterfall and Seobok Exhibition Hall are within easy walking distance. Olle Market is approximately 2 km away. The Bus 600 terminus is conveniently located right outside the hotel, offering direct access to the Jusangjeolli Cliff. The hotel boasts both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. While nearby dining options are somewhat limited, a side exit from the parking lot leads to a cafe and a Korean BBQ restaurant, both of which are quite tasty. Additionally, dining is also available by the outdoor pool.

Clean room with ocean view and high quality toiletries. First class service from staff who went out of the way to help us make external calls and arrange computer access.

The room is a bit small, but the view is fantastic. Definitely book a sea-view room!

Great experience. Very kind and helpful staff. Perfect location. Easy public transport to Airport and other locations. Great ambiance and outdoor park. Little more improvement in the breakfast menu can be best.

Solid stay. Nothing fancy about the rooms. The breakfast was worth it for sure. Location was good, a bit of a walk to get into town but a lovely little nature walk to get to a cliff side cafe that was gorgeous. Would stay again.
