Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao Reviews

Superb place to stay. Honestly one of the most spectacular places to stay in Shanghai. The view is to die for and staff are really nice and helpful. Worth every cent.

The hotel is located near the Shanghai Exhibition Center, but it isn't within walking distance. Due to heavy traffic and numerous traffic lights, it takes a minimum of 15 minutes by taxi to reach the center. There are no nearby train options, so you're limited to public buses and taxis. While the hotel is relatively new, the management did not meet my expectations for a Four Points by Sheraton. When I entered the gym, I found dumbbells and used towels scattered around the bench. While I was on the treadmill, a staff member came in to tidy up the area. However, when I approached the bench, he told me to put back the dumbbells on the rack after use, which I would have done without prompting. This interaction felt quite unwelcoming. There was no hand soap in the room toilet. I also noticed a smell of cigarettes in the hallway as soon as I exited the elevator. Although smoking is common in China, even in no-smoking areas, I didn't expect this from a Sheraton hotel. The sound of doors slamming from neighboring rooms was quite disruptive. On a positive note, the bed is comfortable, and the window view is nice. However, I cannot recommend this hotel to travelers, even those attending exhibitions. There are better options available near the exhibition center at reasonable prices, or you might consider hotels further away since you'll likely be taking taxis.

The location is a little out of bustling area but accessible by Apps booking transportation. Staff are friendly and accommodative. Room is clean and bed is comfortable.

This hotel is 5 start was ok and clean WiFi work ok and breakfast was ok is not total Chinese so that’s ok I love it and very close to convention center.

Hotel staff was very helpful, and made sure that the VR works. We also asked for the late check out, and they let us stay until later. 🥰

location ia good, close to the exhibition centre but the air conditioner's noise inside the hotel room is very loud and we had poor sleep condition.

Good solid hotel. Easy to access and with decent facilities. Rooms are a bit warm but staff try to be supportive and help adjust the temperature.

Hotel is new and clean rooms look good and service is very good, breakfast was not so rich for us as foreigners , location is ok if you want stay near hongqiao airport but too far from the city
