They poured us water upon check-in and even explained the location of the hotel's amenities. It was very heartwarming and helpful. A large shopping mall is just a few dozen meters away, and there's a lively night market and a musical fountain to watch. It's also close to the circus and the subway station, making it very convenient for commuting into the city. The hotel also offers a rich breakfast, free laundry and fitness facilities, and books available for borrowing in the lobby. I had a very good stay and was very satisfied.

Just as I was about to brave the rain to get to my car, a security guard proactively approached me and thoughtfully said, 'The rain is coming down too hard right now; even with an umbrella, you'll likely get soaked. You might want to wait a moment. If you need to drive, I'd be happy to walk you to your car with an umbrella.' This is a very nice hotel, I assume it was recently built: everything looks new (not scratched and dated like in so many other hotels). It's one of the few hotels that offer a mini fridge. The rooms are clean and they do a very good job on a daily basis. At the ground floor there is a convenience store opened 24/7, decent prices for do many things you might need. Then, just outside the hotel there is a proper grocery store Fresh Hippo with great prices for all the things you need. Right next to it there is a Luckin Coffee store for all your coffee needs, and in the same mall there are plenty of other stores for different things. Also there's a Costa Coffee and a KFC nearby. I would definitely come back here, a clean and safe neighborhood in the Hongkou district, a 10 minute walk from the yellow line 3 subway station Chifeng Road.
