This is a great hotel, located in a prime downtown area. It's super convenient for dining and shopping right downstairs. The location is easy to find, situated on a wide street, and the hotel's facade is quite impressive. It definitely stands out from the smaller, less appealing guesthouses nearby. We booked a two-room family suite, which was located on the 7th floor. This entire floor is dedicated to family-friendly rooms and features a large outdoor terrace with playground equipment for kids. The suite included one room with a 1.8-meter king bed and another with two 1.5-meter queen beds. There's also a bathtub, smart home features throughout, and self-sanitizing toilets. Everything was exceptionally clean. It really reinforces why staying in a proper hotel is worth it. Breakfast was included, and they were flexible about extending it to extra guests. We were also able to easily get extra bottled water. All our requests were promptly fulfilled. Interestingly, some neighboring rooms on the floor even offer a Japanese theme or come with a fun slide. The only minor downside was that the parking lot required about a 100-meter walk, though parking itself was hassle-free. The front desk staff were also incredibly kind and helpful.

I happened to book a family room at the Kaiyalun Hotel, located on the 7th floor. The hotel offers a free parking garage, and the room itself was very spacious. It's incredibly affordable, and the mini-fridge was even stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks! Right next to the parking garage entrance, there's a hotpot restaurant called Chencuohe, which serves delicious and super affordable food. Plus, just outside the hotel's front door is a famous pork belly soup spot. The area downstairs gets quite lively with plenty of eateries in the evening, but thankfully, the rooms upstairs are well-insulated and quiet. One day, we simply relaxed at the hotel, played Ludo, and relived some childhood memories. Oh, and a special mention for the toothbrushes – they were surprisingly comfortable! They even provided disposable slippers specifically for children. The hygiene was impeccable, and the overall quality of amenities was excellent. This is truly a rare find, a real 'hidden gem' of a hotel, and the family room is the best I've ever stayed in!

Visiting Shantou with our kids, this hotel is absolutely perfect for families! Our family of four had three beds, and the room was incredibly spacious, providing a very comfortable night's sleep. The room was also new, very clean, and well-maintained. The hotel features a lovely area that's perfect for little ones, and it offered excellent value for money. Right outside the hotel entrance, there's a fantastic spot serving delicious pig's stomach kway teow and similar local dishes. The seafood kway teow was also great. Highly recommend! ✨

Check-in was quick, and it's close to the subway station. There are many delicious restaurants nearby. The environment is very good, the room is very clean, the facilities are complete, the service is also very good, and the stay is comfortable.
