Kashikojima Hojoen
"This is an established, somewhat older hotel (not ancient). It's quite large, and you can still see remnants of its 80s and 90s glory days, like the bowling alley. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a lovely view. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful. The hotel also has its own hot spring bathhouse, with indoor, outdoor, and garden-style rotenburo options. It's very close to Kashikojima Station, and there's a shuttle bus service available. Nearby, there's a small fishing village and harbor you can explore, and even take a boat ride. This is a great place to relax, unwind, and get closer to nature. Plus, it's easily accessible by direct train from Nagoya and Osaka."
Shima Kanko Hotel the Bay Suites
"We visited as a couple. We had stayed at Shima Kanko Hotel The Classic before, but this was our first time in a bay suite. It was great that we could take our shoes off in the room. We had a spa treatment, went into the large communal bath, and had a French course meal, which was delicious and enjoyable. However, the portions were a little too much for me. I would have liked to have had more wine. The view from the lounge was exceptional, and I lost track of time. We stayed for several nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. I hope to visit again this year."
Kashikojima no Yado Michishio
"Very good Japanese restaurant. No matter the service, room, view, or Japanese service, they are all excellent."
Quintessa Hotel Iseshima
"The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped me with local recommendations, booking taxi, and were very generous with helping me understand the amenities in the hotel. The hotel and the onsen inside were both very nice, I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area!"
Shima Kanko Hotel the Classic
"The room facilities are old and the service is poor"
Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace
"I was able to relax like I would at a resort. The location was great and the service was pleasant. I would definitely like to visit this facility again with my daughters."
Nemu Resort Hotel Nemu【Reopening on April 18, 2026】
"The room was very spacious, and the bath and breakfast were very satisfying. It was the autumn leaves and Christmas season, so the illuminations and Christmas tree were also nice. I was also surprised that the manager himself carried my luggage to my room."
Kashikojima Hotel Bay Garden
"Location is good, pretty close to JR station, room itself is small and aged, especially the bathroom"
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Iseshima
"Mostly local families with kids. It's a decent, no-frills place – not amazing, not bad. Good value for money, and the hot springs are pretty nice. Perfect for guests who enjoy a good soak."

Tabinoyado Ushionoakari Geiboso
"It's hard to find a place where a family of four can stay in one room, but this place even provided a cot for my mother, and even gave us a large room with two rooms. We were very grateful. The facility itself is certainly old. However, the hotel has plenty of ideas and services to make the room comfortable, so I think it's a very relaxing place to stay. It's not a big problem to bring along elderly parents who have difficulty walking. Nakai-san? It was a warm hotel with great service."
Tomoyama Kanko Hotel
"I made a reservation because I heard that there was a cottage where you could stay with your pet, and I traveled 10 hours from Gunma. I thought I was prepared for the smell in the room since pets were allowed, but it was worse than I expected. The bedding and pillows smelled like animal odor mixed with old age, and there was no dust mite protection. I don't recommend using a sofa, tatami mats, or bedding because your body will feel itchy. Being in Ise-Shima, I was really looking forward to the meal. Since it was summer, I made a barbecue plan, but I regret it. First, vegetables, meat, and seafood are all placed on one plate and left for a long time in a hot and humid venue, and you are guided there. For hygienic reasons, it is forbidden in restaurants to serve uncooked ingredients (meat and seafood) on the same plate as bacteria can easily grow there, but this was done at this hotel. As expected, I felt unwell after eating and had vomiting and diarrhea. As for the salad, there was hair mixed in and it looked like it was half eaten? That's what it felt like. As for breakfast, there are only a few types of things to put on rice and that's it. I didn't think it was worth paying for such a poor meal. Since pets are allowed, there was a dog run, but perhaps because of the customer base, the dog's fur was left as it was after being groomed, and feces was left hidden in the corners, which was the worst. It was a pretty harsh environment for my children, who are indoor dogs. I felt that it was inconvenient to walk a considerable distance from the cottage to the meals/main building etc. unless I asked for someone to pick me up. There was only a small shop in the reception area of the main building, and the variety was small and the prices were high. The customer service of the employees was very good and polite, but everything else was the worst. I will never go again and cannot recommend it to anyone."
Amanemu
"The rooms are spacious, the service is excellent, and the environment is lovely. All the staff are very enthusiastic, truly living up to its luxurious hotel status. The only downsides are the limited entertainment facilities and dining options. It can get a bit monotonous if you're staying at the hotel and not participating in any activities."
The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts Kashikojima
"1st class service. The staff are all absolutely wonderful; so kind and so helpful. 1st class hotel room with private onsen. 1st class food (breakfast and dinner) that rivals some 2-3 star Michelin restaurants in London. Incredible 2 nights stay - so peaceful and relaxing. A bit of the beaten path but can wholeheartedly recommend this superb Onsen resort."
Bishoku No Kakurega Provence
"50 ~ The people in their 60s were the center of the guests, and they felt calm and the customer service was good. Not only dinner but also breakfast was good as shown in the photo."
Therapy Resort Ise Shima
"Although the hotel is several decades old, it has been renovated and has brand-new facilities. Now run by a couple, their dinners and breakfasts are excellent and highly recommended. All rooms face the sea, allowing you to watch the sunrise from your room. The windows are well-insulated, so you don't have to worry about the sound of the waves disturbing your sleep. While the onsen (hot spring) isn't large, the open-air bath also faces the sea with stunning views!"
Shima Mediterranean Village
"The hotel rooms were so beautiful, I was really impressed 🥺 The food was also amazing!! You can even make things in the workshop!! That's a bit off topic, but the rooms are the best! They're on the second floor, and it feels like a princess lives there! Everyone, please check them out!"
Ikadasou Sanjou
"This is a Japanese-style inn in a building from the Showa era. The dinner served in a separate room is a seafood delicacy. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying, and this was my fifth time staying here."
Hiogiso
"I only stayed one night, but I would have liked to stay longer if possible!"
Ichiraku Onsen Hotel
"Since I checked in at night, the road just before the hotel was a little scary, but when I walked along it in the daylight the next morning, it wasn't scary at all. The large public bath was located right after getting off the elevator, so it was easy to get to. This time I only stayed overnight, but next time I would like to stay with meals included."
Sunperla Shima
"We went to Ise Shima on a family trip. Before dinner, we went to the large public bath and found a jacuzzi installed on the balcony. The view of the ocean was beautiful and the jacuzzi was just the right temperature, which was great. My son, who is in middle school, had a great time. We were also given a welcome drink and freshly baked pizza, which made us feel very happy. For dinner, we enjoyed local seafood. This was also very delicious. The weather was bad, but that was also part of the charm. But I would like to return on a sunny day."
