One of the best places we stayed in China. Our room was genuinely unique: a spacious soaking tub set under a ceiling window, so we could watch the stars while taking a bath—pure magic.
The on-site restaurant downstairs served really good food, and each table sat beneath its own cozy yurt-style canopy, which made every meal feel private and atmospheric.

OOoRainoOThe room was as the photo depicted. The host was nice to assist with pick up from and to the train station. They also can provide assistance to book the ride up to XueBaoDing, something I decided to do at the last minute.v
Songpan itself is about 2800+m above sea level. Some may already experience mild symptoms at that altitude. Hence if you are not too fit/if it’s a concern, you might wanna consider staying on level 2 instead of level 3 so you have less climbing to do as there is no lift up. That being said, the owners/staff were really kind to get my huge luggage up and down. I can’t imagine if I had to do it myself. (PS: had a heavy luggage as I was on a long overseas trip.)
Despite our early schedule on the next day, the staff were able to prepare a simple local breakfast for us,ensuring we are fed before moving on and that is really helpful.
Overall I would considered it a place I would like to stay again if I visit Songpan again.

BBeijinghuaheExcellent hotel! There aren't many hotels near Huanglong Jiuzhai Station - Chuanzhusi during the off-season. This hotel is very close to Huanglong Jiuzhai Station, and you can ask them to arrange a car to pick you up, which only takes 7 minutes to the station.
Facilities: It has a smart toilet, underfloor heating, and an electric blanket, so it wasn't cold even in winter. The lighting was also excellent.
Hygiene: Very clean, with a separate wet and dry area.
Environment: The environment is great, very quiet, with good soundproofing. It's easy to find and get a taxi. You can also have food delivered to your room.
Service: The service was thoughtful and warm-hearted, truly excellent!

GGuest UserSet in a beautiful and quiet location in between Emeishan train station and Baoguo Temple. About a 20-30 minute drive from the train station and 10-15 minute drive to Baoguo temple (which has a bus station to take you to various starting points). When I visited (December) they were not offering pickup from the train station, but you can catch a (overpriced)taxi right outside the station or probably call a Didi. They did offer free drop off to Baoguo Temple. The hot spring inside the room is a real, natural one and very nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the included soft bathrobes are a nice touch. The bathroom did not appear to have a door of any kind if I remember correctly. Soundproofing seemed good. The room was heated to a comfortable temperature. There were a few hairs on the floor, so cleaning could be a little more thorough. Otherwise it was quite clean. Breakfast is not buffet style, rather you can choose a couple items and they will prepare it for you. If you don’t eat meat, the options include a boiled potato, boiled eggs, and soy milk. If you eat meat, there are a few more options like meat steamed buns etc. The staff do not speak much English, but are very friendly and helpful. Overall lovely place to stay and enjoy a private natural hot spring in a beautiful location and nice room.

DDaughterofEveLooking for a decently priced hotel and lovely service hotel close to Huanglong Station? This is it. Hotel is owned by a friendly family and they are very helpful. They cannot speak English but the daughter added me on WeChat to communicate about what I needed anything. She also guided me through the process of what to do to be able to watch English movies. The hotel is neat and clean, and facilities are decent. The bed is cozy and comfortable, with an electric blanket. I was invited for a hotpot dinner, though I wasn't able to go. I requested breakfast on the day I left and they were more than willing to accommodate me - the breakfast was delicious! Yummy noodles. The owner dropped me at the station in time. There are a few shops (supermarkets and restaurants) within walking distance from the hotel. There is a comfortable lounge area where free tea is available, and some snacks can be bought at reception. It has a nice view (especially if it's snowing). There's a river directly outside of the hotel that can be walked along. I also saw a park area. The hot water was a bit of problem, as it didn't warm up fast enough, then would suddenly go ice cold - so perhaps not great in winter. If this problem is fixed it would definitely be a good place to stay at to be closer to the station. Overall, the service and hospitality was great and I would definitely book this hotel again.

The owner's service was exceptional and very welcoming, even proactively helping with luggage. The hotel itself is spotless and very clean. The room design is beautiful, especially with the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food. I stayed for two consecutive days and it was absolutely wonderful!

The owner helped me plan a day trip where there were no tourists, and he also bought the bus ticket to go back to Chengdu for me, and even followed me to the bus stop. Great help.

KKatja HerlemannEmma is a wonderful host and we felt very much at home! She speaks great English and knows about everything a traveler might want and need.
Her whole family is super friendly and open and we enjoyed hanging out. Her cook made us one of the best meals with local and seasonal vegetables that we have had on the whole trip.
The location of the charming guesthouse is in a quiet side street, away from the hustle of this very touristic town.
The only small drawback was a horse trip that we booked through Emma, but it's partly my own fault because I should have inquired in detail beforehand. It wasn't horseriding but sitting on a horse while the guide was walking next to it and holding it the entire time - even though I do know well how to ride a horse. We felt pretty ridiculous, especially because it was an expensive activity... So best to discuss exactly what to expect :)

4. If you are a non-smoker, ask for a second-floor room when you check-in. The third-floor room has a sore throat due to the continuous smoke coming up from the second-floor cigarette.
5. There was a restaurant near the hotel that said ”Breakfast” and when I went there at 7:30 the door was locked. I looked around all around the hotel, but none of the restaurants were open. Prepare food such as snacks and fruits in advance for breakfast.
6. I think this is for Chinese people only. Foreign lodging registration is not automatic. Please visit the police station next to you at the high-speed rail station and take care of it yourself.

1. The map app confirms that buses run between the ancient fortress wall and the high-speed rail station, but when I asked the locals, they said they don't operate it. I paid 20 yuan for a taxi from the bus stop to my accommodation. I took a taxi from here three times, but no taxi was priced for mileage. You should bargain well.
2. There is a convenience store in the waiting room of the high-speed rail station that sells instant food, the air is warm, and you can charge your phone. If you have nowhere to go, you can spend time here. (We also had breakfast here and charged our phones for four hours.)
