"The room layout is great, allowing you to enjoy a cup of tea while overlooking Erhai Lake. We encountered tidal flow lanes (5:30 PM - 6:45 PM) on our way to the hotel. We called the hotel directly and added Diana, a staff member, on WeChat. She guided us to the hotel very accurately and even recommended local Dali food and travel routes, saving us a lot of trouble. The underground parking is also excellent. This is a reputable hotel, and its quality is trustworthy. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Dali."

"The location is excellent, only about 50-60 meters from Caicun Pier Scenic Area. There's a large platform on the second floor where you can directly see Erhai Lake, making it incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise over the lake. The room is clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with modern facilities and smart curtains and lighting. The bathroom features a fully smart toilet and disposable seat covers. The shower area is completely separate, ensuring a consistent water temperature and even water flow. The owner provides meticulous and thoughtful service. This was an excellent stay, definitely a five-star experience!"

BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped.
The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

GGuest User12 Clouds was every bit the promotional photos had presented — a rare thing. The view of Erhai Lake is really awesome and definitely one of the highlights of this hotel. My family of three had a great time waking up to the panoramic view before heading to breakfast every morning.
Which brings us to the food — another highlight for us. The breakfast was so good that we wanted to have dinner there as well on our final night. One minor peeve though. We were entitled to a free dinner set for having stayed three nights but the staff informed us only over WeChat about this. Frustrating as we actually preordered two dishes in the morning of our last night. We ended up having too much food — thankfully, there was another family to share the food.
Other highlights:
Location - Right by the banks of Erhai on top of an elevation within a gated compound called Dali Condominiums Phase II or 大理公馆 (二期). Despite the private location, you can easily Didi for a ride to anywhere in the city.
Room - Spacious with good amenities. Awesome VOD system on there if you understand Chinese. There are Hong Kong drama serials available.

GGuest UserService: Excellent, a very satisfying stay. The lady at the front desk even brought us a beautiful fruit platter on the day we checked in, and the breakfast was also very rich. The service was incredibly thoughtful.
Environment: Comfortable, right by the sea. We could see Erhai Lake the moment we opened our door on the second day.
Facilities: High-end.

BBaliGingerLouWhen we first arrived we wondered if we had made a mistake and booked a hotel in the wrong location! But no, it turned out to be just wonderful! The huge window gave us a wonderful view and the old town was a short lively walk straight down the hill. The only problem we had was when we had to leave early on the morning. We were locked in and couldn't phone anyone to come and unlick the door. This is also a fire hazard. Anyhow if they could work out a better system it would be perfect.

HHaafizohThis hotel is excellent. It is located very close to a halal bakery in Dali, just across the road. The area around the hotel is quiet and peaceful, as it is accessed through a small alley off the main road. Finding halal food is very easy, and souvenir shops are also within walking distance. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.

XXiaochuichuiI came to Ideal Resort primarily for photos, and I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The main reason is that it boasts the largest area within the entire resort, and you can access the rooftop for photoshoots without any extra charge. Plus, there are so many great spots on the rooftop for pictures – basically all the popular Instagram photo ops are concentrated here! If you love taking photos, you absolutely shouldn't miss it. I had a blast taking pictures here after checking in, especially with the complimentary afternoon tea! The infinity pool is truly stunning. What's more, the butler service was incredibly patient and attentive, and the shuttle service, which can take you up and down the mountain, was always available when called. The rooms are highly automated, and the window view offers a romantic vista of Erhai Lake and the chapel within Ideal Garden. They even provide Dyson hairdryers! The breakfast spread is abundant and varied, easily comparable to a star-rated hotel.

This trip was completely spontaneous; I woke up, booked my tickets, arrived in Dali, and then booked the hotel. I'm so grateful to the male server who was on duty on New Year's Eve for helping me find my takeout. (I had entered the wrong room number, which caused my food to be delivered 3 hours late, and I didn't get it. I called the lobby earlier to inquire but got no response. After waiting for an hour, I went down to the lobby myself to look for it, and the staff member said he'd check the surveillance. When I went back upstairs to check my phone, I realized I had written the wrong room number.) A big thank you also to the male manager on duty, who specially came upstairs to apologize to me. I was already quite embarrassed because it was my own mistake with the room number. The manager even specifically told the front desk to send us some fruit when we checked out. Apologies for causing trouble on New Year's Eve, and best wishes for the Year of the Horse!

__M1885877****The facilities at the hot spring hotel are truly amazing! The heated swimming pool has crystal-clear water, making for a very comfortable swim. The snooker table is also fantastic; I played a few games with friends, it was so much fun! The hotel's pick-up service is very convenient; staff members are there to meet you as soon as you get off the bus, saving you time and effort. In the evening, I relaxed in the lounge; the sofas were very soft, and there was even a small TV where I could watch my favorite shows. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dali!
