"Overall, this hotel was average. It was acceptable for a short stay, but there were a few inconveniences. The air-conditioning had some issues and did not function very well, which made the room slightly uncomfortable at times. Other than that, the room was reasonably clean, and cleanliness seemed acceptable. Some basic amenities were not provided, such as toothbrushes, which had to be purchased separately. This felt a bit inconvenient and unusual for a hotel stay. Most instructions and signage were in Korean only, which made things less clear for foreign guests, but we managed eventually. One important point is that WeFeel should clearly provide both an English address and a Korean address. When we used Uber from the city area, the location was confusing and made it feel like we were heading into a very remote area. This could easily worry first-time visitors, so clearer address information would be very helpful. Facilities were basic and nothing special. Overall, the hotel is manageable but quite ordinary, with room for improvement in guest convenience and clarity."

"The 10 AM check-in time caught me a bit off guard; I really should have double-checked. Nevertheless, I was waiting in what I presumed was the lobby, and perhaps sensing my plight, they kindly allowed me to check in a bit early. I was extremely grateful for their understanding."

GGuest UserThe Shilla Hotel is where South Korea's old money elites gather for events and entertaining. It's quite common to see them in the lobby, dressed in furs and carrying Hermès bags. The service is excellent, and our room faced N Seoul Tower, though the winter view was just so-so. Right next door is the Shilla Duty Free Shop, which isn't very big and doesn't have a huge selection. There's a scheduled shuttle bus that goes to most areas of Myeongdong, and it's also quite convenient to the subway; there's a pick-up service at the subway station entrance for the return trip. The hotel's bakery is quite pricey, and the taste is just average.

Aalis_hanaThis hotel is quite close to Olympic Hall and KSPO Dome, and you can definitely walk there, especially since it's in Seoul's tallest building, visible right from the venue. However, the value for money is a bit low; for the same price, I'd recommend Josun Palace. The hotel opened in 2017, but the facilities already feel dated. The view from the top floor isn't as visually appealing as Josun's either. Plus, because of its tower structure, the elevator lobby reminds me of high-rise offices in Shanghai's Pudong. The room type I booked included lounge access, but the offerings there were far inferior to those at the JW Marriott Seoul. On the bright side, it's very convenient to Lotte World below. There's also a street with food and pub options nearby that's bustling with locals even late at night, a walkable but not strictly necessary distance. Unless I need to attend another concert in the vicinity, I probably won't stay here again.

6631014****The location is super convenient, with direct access to the subway downstairs. The underground passage leads straight to Myeongdong Lotte Department Store. This is my second time staying here, and I really love it! The swimming pool and gym are a highlight; they're large and have professional equipment. I used them twice this trip, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! Oh, and a big thank you to the front desk staff – they allowed me to check in early both times, which was a great experience.

ZZoe 2302Providing emotional experience, luxury services. How they put in the effort to go the extra mile for their guests. My mini bar was not closed after housekeeping was done as I left before they came to tidy the room. And I raise as a concern. They were very fast to check and assured me that they make sure the minibar would be properly closed. And even offered me a choice of my - wine, cheese platter or fruits of my choice and to send to my room. I didn’t request for it as I was just genuinely raising a concern. One of the team even remembered my last name and greeted me when I was heading out. I had a wonderful stay. It’s not in the popular area but it’s beside Lotte mall. And London Museum Bagel and Blue Bottle is in the mall. But it’s good because it’s not crowded, peaceful.

GGuest UserI had an incredible stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. The service was exceptional, with a special mention to Jenna, I met the first day with 6 hours flight delay who went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. The housekeeping team was equally outstanding, ensuring my room was always spotless and adding thoughtful touches that enhanced my stay (Thank you for the yummy chocolate pastries and eye masks). The hotel’s facilities, location, and overall atmosphere were flawless, truly embodying luxury and comfort.  The only minor downside was the mattress, which was a bit softer than I prefer. However, this didn’t detract from the amazing experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Seoul!   Also no worries about restaurants there, many restaurants you can see nearby. The BBQ restaurant opposite the hotel is absolutely amazing! The two ladies there are incredibly friendly and especially attentive to children. The Korean beef and pork are truly delicious, and the kimchi, along with the slightly spicy mushroom soup, is fantastic. It’s even better than the Michelin one-star BBQ beef restaurant I visited the next day in Gangnam.

LLuy!The hotel is conveniently located near Hyundai Department Store, within walking distance, but the surrounding area is quite quiet. The room I stayed in was very spacious, which is rare for Seoul, offering plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped at all. However, the washbasin was poorly designed and felt narrow even for one person, with no space to put toiletries or personal items, which was a bad experience. For three consecutive mornings, glass cleaning started on the building exterior around 8 AM. The construction noise was disruptive to sleep.

GGuest UserJW is 5 star because of excellent assistance and service from the Conceirge to bellboy! Oliver recommended and assisted us to book a nice dinner venue for my family at Seokparang. He even initiated to assist me in booking a cab. Mason helped us with the luggage. He even took initiative to ask us for our airport transfer car plate number so he can keep a lookout for us. He even initiated to ask us to sit inside the hotel lobby while he kept a lookout for us. As he understood we are rushing to catch the flight, he even helped us to translate to the cab uncle to hurry for us. All of them speak fluent English, are very warm hearted and takes initiative in offering excellent service with genuine smiles. Our hearts are deeply grateful to them. 5 star 🌟 because of them. 4 star for the rooms don’t have Netflix. It would be great if the family can gather over Netflix entertainment. Small issue though as the service more than cover up for everything! :) We were offered a nice river view which was romantic! Very clean hotel. Location is excellent as train station and direct bus airport limousine is just by the hotel. Great connectivity. Will definitely revisit this hotel again.

__WeChat54871****The Grand Hyatt, being an established brand, definitely delivers on quality and service. All the staff speak excellent English, so communication was a breeze, and their service attitude was wonderful. The only drawback is the small room size, which seems to be a common issue in Seoul. Also, there were too many people taking photos in the lobby, making it quite noisy. On the plus side, room service was prompt, and any issues I had were quickly resolved when I called housekeeping. Overall, I would still recommend staying here.

GGuest UserWe were looking for a place that could accommodate six people in one room for our New Year's family trip, and we chose this hotel. The room was incredibly spacious, easily allowing everyone to open their suitcases without feeling cramped. It was also very clean, and we were extremely satisfied throughout our stay. The living area and bedroom were separate, providing good privacy. The kitchen had a refrigerator and microwave, so we could do some light cooking. Having two toilets and two shower rooms meant there was no congestion in the mornings or evenings. Although there was no bathtub, only a shower, we could use the spa in the living room for a foot bath, which was great for resting our tired feet after walking around all day. We stayed for three nights, and towels, linen changes, and room cleaning were done every day. If I had one minor suggestion, it would be that the floor didn't seem to be cleaned during housekeeping; there were some hairs (ours) around the vanity, and it would have been perfect if that area had been cleaned too. It was our first trip to Korea, but there was a Japanese-speaking staff member who assisted us with check-in, so check-in and check-out were smooth and problem-free. Since the hotel is located in Gangnam-gu, getting to major tourist spots was a bit of a trek, but it's close to the nearest station and COEX is within walking distance. We used the round-trip bus between the hotel and the airport, and the bus stop was right in front of the hotel, so the location was excellent. We would definitely like to stay at this hotel again if we have the chance.

JjayvernPros : - great location : near market, restaurant and convenient shops , near train and bus station. - very comfortable bed and pillow. The pillow is so comfortable I wish I can buy it to bring home. - very big bath tub(onsen). - amenities provided : shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, hairdryer (Dyson), bath herbal soak, toothbrush - love the freebies provided like makgeolli and Korean traditional sweet. Cons : - late checkin time (4pm), they don't even have a luggage storage area if you reach early. - all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. You need to carry the luggage yourself, there is no staff to help. Initially we were assigned to a room on 4th floor. We requested to change to a lower room because we (both girls) can't carry our big luggage up 😅 - there is only one water outlet to fill up the bathtub. It takes forever to fill up the tub, so we only manage to soak our legs. There is no curtain to cover the bathtub, so when you fill up with hot water the whole room will be covered with the hot air making everything 'wet'. Love the concept of the big tub but it's just not practical. - they only provide new towels and bath amenities when doing room cleaning. They didn't even make up the bed.
