討伐中的吉伊Location is excellent, convenient for subway or bus, including airport bus. Lots of dining options and shopping areas nearby. The hotel facilities are probably getting old. Some issues with the water tap, sometimes water kept running out even it’s closed, though the staff solved it fast. The room and corridor outside is a bit dark. You will always hear music from the street during daytime, but night time it is okay, not sure if it’s becoz I stayed during weekdays, so the music didn’t last till midnight and it won’t affect sleep.

Mmary1981Great location, and breakfast is included, but the breakfast itself is pretty average. I'd recommend skipping the breakfast option if you can, otherwise, the price feels a bit inflated for what you get. The room isn't huge, and the biggest drawback is that the window doesn't open, which means no fresh air. Some people might find that a deal-breaker! On the plus side, there are plenty of dining and shopping options conveniently located nearby.

RRubaExceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is superb, really close to all the attractions. There are plenty of shops downstairs, and I highly recommend OurBakery – their bread is delicious! You don't need to bother with the hotel breakfast. They also have a self-service laundry and a gym, which is perfect for travelers. The room size was just right, though it would be even better if the shower curtain could be replaced.

YYuenahezhujishiI've stayed at this hotel in Kyoto before and wanted to see if the Seoul branch had the same great environment, but there's a noticeable difference. The air conditioning was simply unacceptable; it was so hot! The AC system is clearly outdated and couldn't regulate the temperature. Even with outside temperatures at -5 degrees Celsius, I was sweating in a short-sleeved shirt and couldn't sleep. The breakfast was pretty much the same every day and quite mediocre. It's fine for a day or two if you're in a pinch, but having it every day at the hotel was a bit much for me. ☹️

XXianrenzhangchangmaoI checked in on the 14th floor using a self-service machine, which even allowed me to choose my own room. Toothbrushes and toothpaste cost 1,000 KRW per set, but the quality was terrible, so I recommend bringing your own or buying them from a convenience store. Check-out is at 12 PM, with a grace period until 12:30 PM; I suggest discussing this with the front desk if needed. The location is super convenient for getting around; you can take the subway or bus anywhere. For Incheon Airport, there's an airport bus stop about a ten-minute walk away. Downstairs, there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants. For Olive Young, I recommend checking out the one on the second basement floor of Doota Mall; it's spacious and has longer operating hours. The twin beds can be pushed together, which is a nice touch. My only complaint is the old-fashioned bathtub with a showerhead – the water pressure was so strong it actually hurt a bit! 😣

GGuest UserMy stay at HOTEL BOTANIK's Deluxe King Room in Myeongdong exceeded my expectations. The room had a modern, apartment-style feel with brand new facilities and full amenities, making it ideal for those planning a longer stay in Seoul. The in-room amenities were definitely the highlight. The air conditioning had a control panel for temperature adjustment, and it came equipped with an AirDresser, a washer-dryer combo, a separate fridge and freezer, an induction hob, and a microwave oven. Inside the cabinets, there was even a wine cooler, wine glasses, and mugs, giving it the feel of a small boutique apartment. Charging was also convenient, with both USB and Type-C outlets available, and the bidet toilet had a full range of functions. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation design, and the water pressure was consistent, making for a very comfortable shower. However, there were a few things to note: The kitchenware provided was quite basic, with only two plates, which might be insufficient if you plan to do a lot of cooking. Also, laundry detergent wasn't provided in the room, but you could purchase it at the front desk if needed. There are several construction sites near the hotel, but surprisingly, the soundproofing was excellent during my stay, with no noticeable noise at night. My sleep quality was quite peaceful. Overall, this hotel is more of a ”high-functional type” accommodation. The facilities are new and highly practical, feeling more like staying in a well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel. It made for a very comfortable stay.

GGuest UserI had to cancel 1 night and even though i submitted the request within the amendment period, it was conveyed to the hotel and by the time the hotel responded, it had past the deadline. I felt that I was caught in between trip.com and the hotel, the time taken to communicate the amendment was delayed because of the communication time between the 2. When I arrived to stay the 1 night, the staff were so unaware of how to do service recovery - they know that I paid almost SGD1000 for 1 night, perhaps they could have upgraded the room or just provided breakfast. But no, they say they can’t change anything in that booking. Like seriously, you guys shouldn’t be in the service industry! I laughed when I saw that welcome message from the hotel GM in my tv screen. Never again in this hotel. And trip is not blameless too. You should always set deadlines taking into account response time between hotel and trip.

BbewwabewwyThe room was small compared to normal hotel, but understandable that it’s more like a boutique hotel. Staffs were very helpful and can speak English. Room was warm due to winter which is good. Tv with basic local channel, I just wish that they provide toothpaste & toothbrush sets thats all.

JJiekegeThe hotel is conveniently located about 500m walk from Chungmuro subway station. There are plenty of local Korean restaurants nearby, and a popular, trendy pub. The hotel has a unique 'prison-themed' aesthetic. The rooms are small but very clean, offering great value for money.
