"It was great I booked this hotel! The owner was really nice, everything is great, bed is bed and comfortable, room are very big too!! Nice price with nice room. It was just few mins walk from the free bus stop, and taking bus is very easy. I drove motorcycle to the sunset town it only takes me 25 mins and to the Grand world only took me 35-40 mins. I am defo will stay again for next time."

"Our family of four stayed in a double room on the second floor. There was ample space for moving around and storing luggage and other belongings. There was a refrigerator for food and drinks, but the lack of a small table made it inconvenient to eat. The bedside table was too small for a table, and we hoped the owner would add one in the future. The hotel had international electrical outlets and USB charging ports. The hotel's proximity to Yangdong Night Market is a plus, but getting to the King Kong Supermarket flagship store and the many popular restaurants nearby requires a Grab, which can increase transportation costs. The hotel staff were very nice, but the rooms and furniture were rather run-down. During the heavy rain in mid-August, the walls were leaking so badly that we had to use towels to stop the water. It was a very disappointing experience, and we hope the owner will address and repair the situation quickly. Finally, the King Kong Supermarket's homemade dried mangoes are incredibly sweet and delicious; I recommend trying some and making them a great souvenir."

"The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get a taxi to attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed is large and the pillows are very comfortable. There are several restaurants right in front of the hotel. The beach is on the right side of the hotel, and there are free buses to Pearl Land, the zoo, and the Great World on the left side of the main road. There are many attractions here. "As soon as I made the booking I was in touch with the hotel through email - and they were very helpful about their services. They even arranged a welcoming fruit platter and fresh juice, as well as a bathrobe.👘
Once I arrived I was told that the image of the room I booked was wrong on the Trip app and that I would not be getting a panoramic view (also no 🛁!?). I contacted trip and they offered to compensate me with coins, but I didn’t spend the holiday as anticipated. I did get my sunset view and this made it all worth while.🌅
The housekeeping was not very thorough often leaving the room and balcony very dusty. The shower was the worst experience as the shower head was cheap old and the wall holder was broken, and the sewer seemed to be semi-clogged. There was no shelf to place the shower gel and shampoo, and they kept on falling into the soapy water. 🙄
Also there was confusion about the blue beach towels - nobody told me that they are supposed to be returned to the room and replaced the following day by house keeping… they almost accused me of stealing one that I left on the beach… 🥵
The beach and pool are slightly small for full capacity (Christmas/New Year) but the palm trees and sun-beds, shower and beach bar were decent and balanced it out.🌴
The gym was well equipped, but not very clean, and the AC was not very strong. 🏋🏼♀️
The location is great, close to KingKong Mart for shopping, and many coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. However, the loud EDM music from the neighboring OCSEN bar was a bit too much. Earplugs helped. 🎤🎹
Breakfast was surprisingly the best feature of my stay, with enough options for vegetarians, and overall stag was kind and helpful. Lunch at the pool
bar was either a 🥗or 🍕
I don’t think I would return as I prefer higher quality service and this resort is just run down and not maintained enough for my standards, but I’m sure many other guests were very satisfied. 🛠️💸"

"We booked this hotel last minute so when we arrived the bungalow wasn’t quite ready.The receptionist was very helpful despite there being a language barrier. She went above and beyond to sort out some tickets and a taxi for us. The room was clean and nicely furnished, there was complimentary beverages and toiletries. the whole of the outdoor area was well kept and attractive. Lovely swimming pool."

"The reception was good at English and friendly and nice. The delicate service was good until the first day the room was scented. It was said to be a free rental of bicycles, but there was no one and they said they would rent a motorcycle for euros a day. Everything else was good, but it was too hard to turn on the karaoke machine in the front Tabungalow and scream the castle. There was no reception at night, so I went directly to turn on the translator and asked me to be a little quiet, but I didn't listen at all. The room itself was great. The location is ok when you walk out, but when you grab it, the drivers arrived wandering. It was a bit hard. The surroundings of the bungalow were not good. The room itself and toilet are really satisfactory! Good value for money. Don't want a lot"

AAnonymous UserThe staff were friendly and genuinely tried to help when I mentioned the loud noise from the elevator right outside my room. They kindly offered to move me, which I appreciated. However, the new room had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, likely from other guests smoking inside. It was especially noticeable in the evenings and mornings, and the bathroom smelled like an airport smoking room. I was promised another room change, but that never happened.
Breakfast was good, though it became a bit repetitive after several days. The location was perfect, and the staff were polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience was affected by the noise, the smoke smell, and a lack of hot water that lasted an entire evening. We were told several times that it would be fixed “in 10 minutes,” but it ended up lasting from around 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Otherwise very nice rooms with everything you need. I just had very bad luck this time.

The resort put effort into sharing Vietnamese culture over the festival, and arranged a fireworks display for New Years Eve and a traditional Lion Dance for New Years Day. We didn’t get bored for even a moment, and spent time sleeping, reading and relaxing, even taking the kayak out onto the water at sunset. The breakfast was delicious and changed every day. It included a buffet as well as cooked-to-order options. Lots of delicious fruit! They’re quite proud that the fruit jams and sourdough are made on-site. The à la carte menu offered a wide variety of choices and even after 8 meals we still hadn’t tried everything. The fresh summer rolls were a highlight of most meals! We indulged in some time at the spa and particularly enjoyed the rejuvenating herbal hair wash. We loved our room on the seafront and it had a good ac, acceptable shower, and fast internet. It would have been nice if there was a net curtain or something because if we wanted any privacy, the only choice was to close the heavy block-out curtains. The facilities are a bit shabby - the outdoor gym in a state of disrepair, the pathways uneven, and there was lots of rubble and building material randomly lying around. We wondered if there had recently been a big storm, or if it was just mess from building more chalets. The staff were accommodating and polite, although expect that the service will be quite slow because everything is personalized.

Overall, our stay at Roma Hotel was pleasant. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a makeup mirror. As a delightful gesture, the hotel waived the extra person charge for my youngest son, who had just celebrated his 6th birthday.
The location of our room was ideal, offering a fantastic view of the nighttime firecracker show. From the balcony, we could also enjoy the breathtaking sight of the deep blue sea and the Hon Thom cable car. The breakfast spread offered a variety of choices, and the taste was satisfactory.
Cons:
Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication regarding the free cable car tickets included in our booking. I had made the reservation last year when the promotion for complimentary tickets was active, meaning we were still eligible this year. However, upon our arrival at 4:30 PM, we were informed by the receptionist that the tickets could only be redeemed before 3:00 PM on the day of check-in.
This meant we couldn’t claim the tickets for the next day and had to wait until March 17th instead. Since we had already planned and booked tickets for the safari on that day, this was quite upsetting. Despite having contacted the hotel multiple times via email about this issue, the policy was never mentioned.
Thankfully, Ms. Quyen, the hotel supervisor, resolved the situation by personally covering the cost of complimentary tickets for us. We were incredibly grateful for her help and deeply appreciated her efforts to make things right.

The accommodations were well-equipped with a microwave, washing machine, refrigerator, and iron, which was very convenient. Since we were a large group, they arranged connecting rooms for us, making access incredibly easy. The location is excellent, with motorcycle rentals nearby, so getting around was hassle-free. We booked a sea-view room and could even enjoy splendid fireworks from the balcony at night – the views were beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was attentive, and it offered great value for money. It's highly recommended for families or friends traveling to Phu Quoc!

LLisa_GThe resort has alot of potential with an exclusive beach, swimming pool and eloquent rooms (some with great views). Breakfasts are great. The manager was good and takes pride in the resort, however when he was not around in the afternoons and evenings service was rare and hard to find. You have to actively go look for restaurant staff to place an order or pay. The restaurant could be alot more profitable if staff actively removed plates and asked clients if they could get them anything e.g dessert, drinks. They charge a service fee, but with little service.
It advertises a gym, but equipment is in disrepair, they should not advertise facilities which are not functional.
There is not much around the resort in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. It is also not an easy location to get to, but yet we found the reception unhelpful in getting transport.
All in all the resort could be great, but service needs to be improved.

GGuest UserFor the first night I booked a single standard room. The room is spacious and clean, but the bed was TERRIBLE. Im travelling for 6 months and this bed was in the worst condition I ever had. You literally sleep on the spirals. I went to the reception to say something about it. She replied to me: many people sleep in this room but they don't complain like you. Giving me the feeling im sort of a diva. Overall not a really friendly receptioniste.I felt burdened asking her a question. I asked to rent a motorbike with a phone holder (because I need this for Google Maps, otherwise I get lost 😅). Hotel charges you 150.000 VND. Five minutes later a motorbike without phone holder arrived. Again I was given the look of complaining once I said I really want a motorbike with phone holder.
I went to a rental place just 6 minutes away from the resort. Super friendly guy, good motorbikes (with phone holders) and only charge you 120.000 VND.
My second night I got offered a nice room next to the swimmingpool. The matrass was not as bad as the first one, but VERY hard. Havent had a good sleep since my arrival at the resort. The beds really are a problem here, too bad, because the resort itself is nice! Good value for the money.
In terms of the swimmingpool. Its a nice and clean swimmingpool, but Vietnamese family swimming and making noises till late. Since my room was next to the swimmingpool, very disturbing there is no one in the resort taking care of this.
Overall: nice resort, good location, clean, but noisy around the swimmingpool (if you have some bad luck with the guests like I did) and terrible beds. I changed my stay since I want to catch some sleep so Im able to explore the island!

SSmiticus101The Daisy Resort is located in an absolutely perfect spot. It is about 250m away from the Main Street which is close enough to just walk and far enough to feel like you are secluded from the hustle and bustle.
The rooms are lovely with an outdoor bathroom, AC and a lovely deck, and to top it all, they are close to a pool area which is literally open 24/7. There are also bikes for rent at the resort itself which makes it just so much more convenient.
It is definitely the place I will stay again if visiting Phu Quoc!

Let's start with the fact that after booking, a week before arrival, a notification came with a request to cancel the booking and a refund. When I messaged that I was not going to cancel the booking, since the pre-New Year dates and other accommodation would not work, no one else contacted me. Upon arrival at the hotel, an employee met us and said that check-in is strictly from 14-00, but you can leave your luggage for storage, so we did. After checking in and inspecting the bungalow (we booked a bungalow with a garden view), it is clearly visible that the cleaning is quite mediocre, there is a layer of dust and dirt on the hair dryer, dirt in the corners of the bathroom, there was no cold water for the first day, dirt on the ceiling fan, they did not even look at the internal cabinets, things were kept on chairs and in a suitcase. The reception does not speak English well or does not speak English, some employees can help solve problems. You can rent a scooter - 150k dong / day, mopeds are worn out, helmets too. There is a pool, clean, it is clearly taken care of daily. Many families with children. No animation, there are additional offers for excursions - expensive.
It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach, the beach is gorgeous, they put extra beach towels in the rooms - this is a plus. As for breakfasts - very rich early in the morning from 7-8 am, then some run out, they do not replenish. Soundproofing in the rooms is average, water pressure, specifically for us, hot - excellent! Cold with interruptions, a thin stream, we asked to fix it. The plumber came to us 2 days) otherwise the location is good, there are many different cafes, restaurants, markets, moped rentals, laundries, massage parlors, etc. nearby. If you are not a very demanding tourist, then ok.
