"Fate led me to choose this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the front desk attendant helped guide me to parking and then assisted with my luggage all the way to the front desk for check-in. She then helped carry everything up to the third floor – I was truly touched! The hotel's location is excellent; it's right on the pedestrian street, which is incredibly convenient. The room was very clean and well-arranged, with a large TV, a fridge, and complimentary drinks! It truly offers a royal experience at a bronze price! The hotel's decor is incredibly unique; it's a real hidden gem inside. It's also very close to the Shantang Street scenic area. I genuinely recommend everyone to stay here! "This hotel is about 700-800 meters to the left of Shiquan Street, right in the central part of Shiquan Street near Nanyuan Hotel. To the right, it's close to Canglang Pavilion, Beilin Museum, and the Confucius Temple. It's also very near the subway station, so it's a good location for exploring all the nearby attractions. There's a bar called Fengling next to Canglang Pavilion with a great live band (a four-piece Filipino band) in the evenings. Parking was convenient, I just parked right in front of the hotel. The front desk staff was very welcoming. Everything was pretty good, and the price was reasonable too."

"The front desk area at Vienna International Hotel was an absolute delight, truly exceeding my expectations! Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately drawn in by the rich, elegant European ambiance. Crystal chandeliers paired with warm lighting, pristine marble floors, and exquisite floral arrangements created a luxurious atmosphere. The front desk layout was well-designed, spacious and not at all crowded. The sofas in the waiting area were soft and comfortable, thoughtfully equipped with charging ports and complimentary tea, making the check-in process incredibly pleasant. The counter was spotless, the staff were impeccably dressed, and their service was both warm and professional. Check-in was efficient and quick, and they patiently answered all my questions. The overall environment was quiet and orderly, without any noise. Every detail showed great care, from the subtle fragrance to the background music, all contributing to a very comfortable experience. "Facilities: The smart toilet, bathroom, hairdryer, kettle, and basic amenities were all good, and the voice assistant was a nice touch. There was a projector, and the mini-fridge even had complimentary drinks like Pocari Sweat and Coke. The front desk also offered candies.
Cleanliness: Very clean! My room got a free upgrade. The overall layout was well-designed, and everything was spotless. I didn't find any stains or hair on the bedding. The bathroom was also incredibly clean with no signs of mold. The room was tidy and free of any strange odors.
Environment: The hotel is right next to Guanqian Street. Just a few minutes' walk through an alley across the road and you're at Pingjiang Road, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. The alleys themselves are charming and less crowded, with many photogenic spots. A few hundred meters to the left is Xuanqiao Alley Subway Station (Line 1), and a bit further to the right is Lindun Road Station (Line 6). If it's raining, you can even use the underground passage from Guanqian Street to get around.
Service: The staff at the front desk, both the gentlemen and ladies, were very friendly. They helped me with my luggage during check-in, and when I felt a bit cold at night, they brought an extra thin blanket. The gentleman also recommended some affordable and delicious local eateries.
I was extremely satisfied with this stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance to visit Suzhou. Highly recommended, you can book with confidence!"

It has an underground parking garage, though if you're driving there for the first time, it's easy to miss the entrance and have to loop back around. The restaurant next to the hotel, 'Yue Lai Yue Hao' (Getting Better and Better), has good food. The hotel's service is also excellent; on the first day, only a first-floor room was available, but they immediately moved me to a second-floor room the next day. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Suzhou."

The Pan family, originally from Jiangxi, had been engaged in porcelain business in Suzhou and constructed this two-entrance, two-story building in the mid-Qing Dynasty. Before liberation, the descendants of the Pan family left mainland China, and the building was subsequently nationalized. Pan House faces west with two main routes and four courtyards, featuring a garden at the back. The second courtyard on the north route houses a grand hall that is 11.2 meters wide and 13.6 meters deep, with intricate carvings of theatrical scenes on its beams. A horizontal plaque inscribed 'Si Jitang' from the second year of the Xuantong era (1910) hangs above. The front has two side rooms, while the third courtyard features a flower basket hall with fine carvings, and the garden still contains a square pavilion and a boxthorn tree. Located within the Pingjiang Road-Zhuozheng Garden Historical and Cultural Conservation Area, it is adjacent to world heritage sites such as the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Lion Grove Garden, as well as the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's Zhongwang Mansion. Currently, it is a controlled protection building in Suzhou City. The ZHUOJIAN·Si Jitang boutique homestay and the Suzhou Amber Art Museum are situated here. "Choosing Zhujian Hotel for my trip to Suzhou was absolutely the smartest decision! The location is incredibly convenient, with a subway station nearby, and both the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum are just a five-minute walk away. Pingjiang Road is also easily accessible on foot! Even other attractions are only a few kilometers away, making it super convenient! In terms of cleanliness, it was spotless and tidy. Every day, I'd see staff diligently cleaning the courtyard and various corners of the hotel's public areas. The service was beyond excellent; as soon as our car pulled up, staff would immediately come out to help with luggage, open doors, and greet us. There's daily afternoon tea that can even be delivered to your room, and if you order takeout, it's brought to the front desk and then personally delivered to your room door by hotel staff. It truly made us feel like we were coming home every time we returned from sightseeing. Finally, the bed was incredibly comfortable, just the right firmness, and the duvet was light yet warm. Even for someone as particular about beds as I am, I slept wonderfully while away from home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Suzhou!"

I wanted something close to attractions, lively, and convenient, and I finally settled on a room at the Hilton. This turned out to be the perfect choice! The hotel is right by Guanqian Street, and Pingjiang Road is only about 800-900 meters away. With Metro Lines 4 and 6 nearby, getting around is super easy. Taxis to Humble Administrator's Garden, Lingering Garden, and Tiger Hill are basically just the starting fare. The lively Guanqian Street is right around the corner, which my parents and kids really enjoyed. If we wanted to visit attractions, we could walk or take a taxi; if not, there was plenty to explore near the hotel, including many dining options.
The gentleman at the front desk, who wore glasses, was incredibly warm and helpful. Seeing that we had seniors and children, he upgraded us to a family room during check-in. As soon as we entered the room, we found children's toiletries, slippers, and most importantly, a footstool and a small potty already set up. When we checked out, he even gave us warm bottled water and a gift for the child.
Out of the ten-plus days we were away, our three-day stay at Hampton by Hilton was the best hotel experience we had. The room wasn't huge but it was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast selection was decent. Most importantly, the service was exceptionally warm and responsive."

Its prime location in Gusu District is unbeatable – a 5-minute walk to the subway, and Pingjiang Road and Lion Grove Garden are practically on your doorstep, no time wasted traveling! The room has a simple yet sophisticated style, and the bedding is so soft you won't want to get up once you lie down. The separated wet and dry bathroom plus smart climate control system really show attention to detail. I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Olin at the front desk! Not only did she pre-reserve a high-floor room with a great view for us, but she also hand-drew a super practical local food map, helping us avoid tourist traps. The alley noodle shop she recommended was so delicious, it made us stomp our feet with joy! Convenience stores and coffee shops are all around, making it perfect for both family trips and girls' getaways. Staying here in Suzhou is definitely the right choice!"

GGuest UserThese are real photos taken by my sister! The staff members here were all incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the male hosts even offered to pick us up at the entrance of the alley in their newly purchased electric sightseeing buggy. Although we only got to enjoy this service once during our three-day stay, it was a very pleasant surprise! While marketed as a guesthouse, its amenities and standards are comparable to those of a hotel. It was newly renovated this year, and the environment is truly beautiful and spotless. The only minor drawback was the subpar soundproofing. Despite that, I would definitely recommend it to friends, and I would gladly stay here again if I return to Suzhou. Plus, it's incredibly close to Pingjiang Road.

It is so convenient to watch performances from Shanghai, especially when there are some popular performances that cannot be bought in Shanghai. MM330467****After booking the Blossom Hill Hotel & Resort - Lizhe Women's Institute, the hotel proactively contacted us and arranged for our tickets to the ancient town. Upon arrival at the entrance of the ancient town, we called the hotel and they sent a tricycle to transport our luggage while we walked in. The hotel is pet-friendly, and there were many affectionate cats in the courtyard, which made me feel incredibly warm and welcome. The hotel is located within the former Lizhe Women's Institute, and the Republican-era teaching building is quite grand. On the second floor above the main entrance of the teaching building, you can see the school motto: 'Integrity, Diligence, Simplicity, Love.' Inside, there's a well-preserved wooden staircase that exudes a sense of history. In front of the building stands a monument commemorating the May 9th National Humiliation (when all the teachers and students protested Yuan Shikai's signing of the Twenty-One Demands with Japan). Right next door to the hotel is the famous Tuisi Garden, which was also the filming location for Leslie Cheung's movie 'Temptress Moon.' Tongli Ancient Town also has other worthwhile places to visit, such as Jiayin Hall, Chongben Hall, and Gengle Hall. The hotel offers free educational tour activities, which are definitely worth participating in.

HHuahuaxiaojiejiePerhaps due to the room type, both rooms were far from the elevator. Around 8 a.m., there was a thumping noise from upstairs. The room was spacious, but the downside was that there was no TV or refrigerator. If you wanted to cool something, you had to go up to the second floor, which was quite inconvenient. If you were picking up a tour driver, you had to have him go into the lobby and scan a QR code before you could leave.
The breakfast here was very poor. There was no basic milk, juice, or sauces. The outside bar only had two kinds of pickled cucumber and plain porridge. I got a bowl of bland noodles, so I skipped it the next day! It was simply not good.
It's a shame that the hotel rooms are basic, but the food wasn't well-received.

The hotel is located smack in the heart of Pingjiang pedestrian Road which is of cobbled stone. Hotel staff are most willing to assist those travelling with many luggages (and myself with an octogenarian), it is located between Tongli bridge and Chaohuxu Lane/ bridge. (depicted in photos).
Fresh and sweet cherry tomatoes are always ready by the frontdesk - pop a few in the mouth any time to guench thirst.

I especially want to thank Abbott and Linda at the front desk! Not only was the check-in process super fast, done in just a few minutes, but they were also incredibly thoughtful and upgraded us for free to a high floor. From there, we had an amazing view of the Gate of the Orient right outside our window – truly breathtaking and boosted our happiness instantly!
The room itself didn't disappoint either. It was spotless and tidy everywhere, with great attention to detail, making our stay very comfortable. Plus, the breakfast spread was varied and delicious; we enjoyed a satisfying meal every morning~
