1118929****I can't believe a B&B this affordable offered such a great stay! The room was clean, with a simple yet cozy design. The best part is how quiet it was, being located in a residential area and set back from the street with a courtyard. The bedding was comfortable too, ensuring a very pleasant sleep. The hotel is a converted school building, and walking through it felt like stepping back in time. The common area courtyard is spacious, perfect for those not rushing to see sights, or for relaxing with a coffee and a chat after a tiring walk along Pingjiang Road. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, offering thoughtful recommendations for dining and entertainment, and helping us solve many issues! All in all, it deserves a huge thumbs up!

The owner's design perfectly blends ancient charm with modern comfort; every single corner is a picturesque delight, offering endless photo opportunities. What truly touched my heart was the proprietress's exceptional kindness. She welcomed us with refreshing watermelon and snacks right when we arrived, and even had more thoughtfully prepared for us after a long day of exploring. The beautifully designed courtyard, complete with fish, turtles, and a swimming pool, adds so much character. It genuinely offers a unique and enchanting take on the classic beauty of a Jiangnan water town.

GGuest UserFollowing a friend's recommendation, I didn't hesitate to choose this cozy hotel on Guanqian Street again for my visit to Suzhou. The decor is very elegant. Downstairs is Guanqian Street, and a short walk takes you to its main thoroughfare. You can leisurely stroll to Pingjiang Road, and there's a subway station nearby. It's just one stop from the Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden, and only a few stops from Suzhou Station and Suzhou Center. The Cangjie Shopping Center, Shuangta Market, and Suzhou University are also close by. The location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel front desk staff were all excellent, providing super service. When I checked out, I forgot something in my room, and they were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic about finding it for me and even shipping it back home. It truly felt like a home away from home. If you're coming to Suzhou, choosing this comfortable hotel is definitely the right decision. The attached picture shows the hotel's 6th-floor terrace, which is absolutely beautiful and truly captures the charm of Jiangnan.

There is a children's playground on the first floor of Building 2, which the children like. The breakfast is rich. Bird watching and scenic spot tickets are given, which is very cost-effective. Bird watching is worth going. The scenic spot rocking boat is worth a ride, 30 yuan/person. There are few people on the rainy Dragon Boat Festival, which is not bad. The hotel staff is enthusiastic. đŸ…żïž The parking lot is large and there is no parking fee. I will choose to stay in Manxinfu next time. The courtyard is beautifully designed in a traditional, picturesque style. They provided information about free parking and a contact number. The owner is diligent, enthusiastic, and even offers electric cart transfers. The guesthouse is conveniently located right at the entrance to the scenic area, and the prices are very reasonable, making it great value for money in the Kunshan area.

GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here. Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around. In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room. When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture? Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc. Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us. These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

The room facilities were very complete, and the cleanliness was meticulous. It was a very satisfying stay, and I personally highly recommend it! The hotel also features a gym, laundry room, book corner, entertainment (billiards, board games), a conference hall, and refreshments – it felt very cozy! The lemonade was delicious, and the tea was nice and hot! They even gave us a free room upgrade! The duck blood vermicelli soup was a unique local specialty!
