The hotel is located at the heart of Pingjiang road so it’s very convenient for us to explore nearby attractions. We also especially love the interior of the accommodation. Our hotel room is very comfortable and the afternoon tea and breakfast was also beautifully done. Overall, we are very happy with our stay here. Super grateful and touched by the service provided by the staffs. All of them are very kind and professional. Thank you!!☺️

Could not have had a better experience. The interior design was beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The overall vibe was homey and calming. The location was very central and close to all the tourist sites yet it is in an enclosed area making it a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. We especially enjoyed the sound bath experience which was relaxing and healing. Would definitely recommend this.

Two days and one night, I arrived at the resort at noon, there was a vacancy, so I checked in directly. The garden view room was upgraded to a lake view room. The scenery was particularly good. At night, someone set off fireworks facing the lake, and the balcony was just right to see it. The housekeeper Xiaoyu was very enthusiastic. He added WeChat one day in advance and confirmed the room type and special needs such as extra bed rails. He also followed the whole process when checking in and checking out, introduced the hotel layout, etc., and gave a small gift. The baby especially likes to dig sand in the indoor and outdoor children's playground. There is no need to bring your own sand digging tools, all are available. The indoor area is divided into different rooms, with a cassia seed pool, a brick room + piano, a climbing area + slide, and a children's theater. Outdoors are a large slide, seesaw, rocking horse, swing, and sand pit (with awnings and seats, good reviews). There is also a shuttle bus to Tongli Ancient Town in the evening, which saves me from driving myself. It's just right to have dinner in the evening. The parent-child swimming pool was also tried. The shower room, changing room and toilet are all equipped. Unfortunately, the baby was very scared when he went into the water for the first time, so it was a waste. The hardware in the room is OK, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers are all provided for two adults and one child, and there is also a footstool for the children. The overall experience is good.

The hotel is conveniently located, with free parking for those driving. The natural hot springs are tranquil and relaxing, completely soothing any fatigue. The staff were excellent and attentive. The afternoon tea and breakfast were plentiful. It was a truly wonderful experience, and I'd definitely go back.

We had a great time during our stay at the hotel. Although we stayed only for one night , we managed to enjoy all facilities and did hiking in the morning. If you come here, do not stay in your room, go out and explore! Special thanks to Kevin for upgrading our room!

What we liked: Spacious and nice room design. Separate bath and toilet. Toilet has automatic flush, seat cover is also provided. Lots of snacks and amenities provided. There are amenities at the front desk such as disposable bath cover, disposable floss, mask etc you can collect from front desk. You can also ask for warm bottled water. Responsive staff, can communicate your needs via WeChat, very convenient. There are 3 lifts, very convenient. Snacks and drinks are free. Bath robes, room and bath slippers are provided too. Awesome that we stayed on the same floor as the lobby, very convenient. Location is near metro, malls, shops, and attractions, very convenient. I like that there are bath robes and different types of towels provided. What we think can be improved: We thought the big bath was indoors and wouldn’t be so cold in the winter but it has two open windows and it gets quite cold when the wind blows. It takes about 1.5h to fill up about 60-70% of the tub and you need to tap every 30 minutes or so to keep the water flowing. Quite time consuming to get it ready for a bath. Housekeeping is inconsistent, the cleaner left a towel on the floor on one of the days, left a cup unwashed, took away our straws and left the sink cover by the sink instead. They have a centralised heating system so it can get quite hot but the staff offered us a fan and we opened the balcony door for wind to enter so it was comfortable to sleep at night. There was some drilling going on in the early morning around 9-10am, it was just opposite our room so it disrupted my sleep, would be better for them to schedule it during non-sleeping hours. When we were checking out, the staff at the counter shared about them getting audited and if we don’t give a five star review, they will get a fine, I had never heard of it from other hotels and found it quite strange. She was insistent on us doing it on the spot even though we have to catch a train, that was not pleasant. We just went ahead to rush for our train. Not much to watch on the TV unfortunately.

Our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime. Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor. The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish. Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
