GGuest UserMy husband and I were met with the warmest of welcomes here! The hosts and staff were all really friendly and willing to even prepare some dinner for us after we arrived late in the evening. The gardens are beautiful and well-tended and lovely to just walk around in or sit and enjoy. We had a queen bed room Mountain View - which was quite spacious, smelled fresh and was exceptionally clean, with sufficient amenities even a balcony and mini-sauna. Breakfast was local-style and very filling. This location is great for a remote getaway experience, for some peace and quiet and if you want to explore nature. The only thing to note is that the surrounding village is rather small so there aren’t many other food options/ stores etc, so best to come prepared. All in all, we had a wonderful time and are hoping to return in the spring!

Hygienic: The room is very clean, the bathroom has no smell, hot water is sufficient, and several rooms will not affect the bath at the same time.
Service: The service is very good, the group will be pulled in advance, and all kinds of needs will be responded quickly.
Hardware: It can be seen that the boss is still very careful in the operation, all kinds of decoration designs have been spent on.
This trip brought children, dining chair toys, staying in tatami room type is also very suitable, not afraid of children falling out of bed.

GGuest UserThe room was pretty good, just a bit warm, maybe I didn't adjust the settings properly. The overall service was commendable, and the Chinese restaurant at the hotel had a great ambiance and delicious food. The breakfast felt a bit lacking in variety, especially with fewer Suzhou-style dim sum options. The hotel environment is lovely; it's great for walks in the morning and evening when the weather is nice.

MM16760****As a bed and breakfast, Sicily's facilities and services gave us many unexpected delights! ✨
The hotel's exterior design is unique, there's ample parking, and the rooms are clean and tidy. You can comfortably enjoy the outside scenery from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Our multi-story room also came with a private entertainment room, a mahjong table, a small courtyard, and a mini hot tub. We borrowed a BBQ grill and charcoal from the hotel, and they also have an outdoor pool, lakeside coffee seating, and a KTV/billiards room, so we partied until the early hours.
In terms of service, besides breakfast, the hotel also offers afternoon tea, a pre-bed sweet soup, and fruit snacks. They were incredibly thoughtful and always accommodating. When checking out the next day, they informed us that no one had booked our room for that night, so we could check out later. That proactive service alone deserves five stars!👍

XXialuotexiaoxiongI saw some bad reviews on Ctrip. After staying there, I don't really understand how these bad reviews were given.
Of course there are areas for improvement, but it's not bad enough to warrant a bad review.
advantage
1. The environment is really good. You can take your kids out for a walk without leaving the hotel. There are cycling, camping, playgrounds, and tennis courts. The managers are very nice.
2. Hygiene and services are as expected.
3. I accidentally sprained my ankle, and they provided great help. Every staff member was polite and friendly. Responding quickly, we stumbled upon a staff meeting, and Mr. Chen’s fireworks were very beautiful.
4. The noodles for breakfast are really delicious.
5. Although there is no disposable bath bag, the disinfection work is very serious
What can be improved
1. My child had a rhinitis attack and rubbed his nose all night. I also have a sensitive constitution and experienced nasal congestion all night. This is most likely caused by the air or dust mites on the bedding.
2. At the breakfast buffet, only the noodle stall was occupied.
3. The swimming pool environment is relatively cold.
4. The signs after entering the parking lot are not clear enough (turn left or right) and there are many mosquitoes in the right area after entering the parking lot
5. The bathtub plug seems to be out of control, maybe broken, but it is still usable.
If I can sleep well, I am willing to stay for many days

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserThe environment is simply stunning. Located right next to Shishan Park, it's tranquil and elegant, with a beautiful ambiance. The courtyard views are picturesque at every turn. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. Lumi contacted us in advance to understand our needs and even gave us a complimentary upgrade based on our situation – so nice! 👍 From check-in to check-out, the entire process was seamless, and every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel's Chinese New Year activities were also diverse and entertaining. It was an impeccable experience, definitely worth a full recommendation!
Both the public areas and the guest rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy, making us feel completely at ease.

The service was exemplary. From check-in to check-out, every step was thoughtful and attentive. Miss Lumi had a warm smile, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. Room service was prompt and meticulously attended to every need, making our whole family feel truly cared for!

GGuest UserI went to Xishan with friends to relax over the weekend and happened to come across this place. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and quiet environment. You can climb to the top of Piaomiao Peak along the way. There are mountains and water, and the three big white geese in the river are very lively. You can also go boating. It's a perfect place to completely forget about life's troubles. It's a perfect weekend getaway. I heard from the locals that you can pick bayberries here in the summer and soak in hot springs in the winter. I plan to come back next time to experience it.

MMusaOur stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere.
The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime.
Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor.
The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish.
Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

GGuest UserI am very satisfied with this trip. The young couple runs this homestay. They love cleanliness very much, so the room is very clean. The interior design is very simple and generous, yet avant-garde. The toilets in the bathroom are all equipped with automatic ultraviolet disinfection, which is not necessarily possible in many high-end hotels. The beautiful and petite young lady is enthusiastic and capable. She also took many beautiful photos for us and secretly recorded a short video for us, which is very touching. The handsome young man is very efficient, caring, and has good eyesight. When we came, the elderly had difficulty walking and needed to adjust the room. He helped to move all the luggage down. When we left, he helped to help the elderly go up and down the stairs. In today's society, being able to do these things is very touching. The breakfast is also very rich. Although the journey is less than two days, the whole family is very happy, especially the two 85-year-old elderly people. They can't put down the beautiful photos taken by the young lady. This encounter is unforgettable... Thanks again to the two young couples, and I hope they will be successful and their business will be prosperous.
