A tree, a hotel with a chinaberry tree A hotel recommended by a friend. I was so excited that I rushed to experience it. After getting off the highway, I followed the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake all the way to the lake and — —Zero distance to Taihu Lake. A hotel with a sense of design. You can see the endless Taihu Lake (like the seaside) from the room. The restaurant on the second floor. You can see the island in the distance. You can see the chinaberry tree swaying in the wind in the near distance. There is also a very touching orange small house. It is like a fairyland. It comes into view. This is a place to relax and soothe emotions. The room service is also perfect. The welcome fruit and midnight snacks are also full of sincerity. It was a great experience. I will find an opportunity to come again.

The guesthouse is located on Hengshan Island, and you can drive directly onto the island. You need to change into slippers upon entering, and the hygiene is excellent. The rooms have a Japanese style, and stepping inside is breathtaking—the huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a terrace facing the mountains and sea, offering panoramic views of sunrises, sunsets, and a sky full of stars—simply romantic! The private hot spring bath is also very comfortable. The rooms are well-heated, and the butler service is exceptionally attentive, promptly resolving any issues and even enthusiastically recommending renting tricycles on the island, which would be great fun for families with children. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind; I'd definitely come back again.

Environment: I looked for a long time on Ctrip. This hotel was 580 when I booked it. It was basically OK for a room with lake view. It was not expensive. If you choose a room without lake view, it would be cheaper. I stayed on the top floor. The room was not big, clean, and the TV was a projector. There was a balcony with a good view. It was good for taking photos. There was a place on the second floor where you could take photos. It was also very good. Service: The service was very good. They called me one day in advance and added me to the group to send me the location and surroundings. Their house was a little hard to find, but the housekeeper would come out to pick me up. Check-in was also very fast. You could order coffee when you went in. When we left, they also gave us a souvenir, a box of tea. We will go to Hengshan Island if we have the chance.

Suzhou Xishan Xixili Hotel is truly amazing! The environment is serene and elegant, with breathtaking scenery. You can see the beautiful Taihu Lake right from your window, and in the evening, you can enjoy a stunning sunset directly from the hotel – the ambiance is absolutely perfect. The service is also incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the staff, both the ladies and the gentlemen, are warm, friendly, and always smiling, which made us feel so welcome. They even prepared a thoughtful souvenir for us when we left, showing great attention to detail. We had a comfortable stay and a wonderful trip; everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommend!

This was a truly amazing trip. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain in the Piaomiao Peak scenic area, with a trail leading directly to the summit. The overall atmosphere was very quiet, and the environment and facilities were excellent. Even if you don't go to the scenic area, you can find a secluded spot in the resort to spend a relaxing afternoon. The service was also very attentive, with dedicated customer service staff who were easy to contact at any time. They even upgraded us to a suite—lucky us!

The hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

Expected by past reviews. Let me say first, the hotel's Jiangnan garden features are very interesting, the external environment design is thoughtful, drinking tea and enjoying the scenery is very artistic. Many eucalyptus trees and bamboo forests can be picked in season. The two-bedrooms booked are all 3 floor-to-ceiling windows, green and the view is very good. Sanitation is very clean. Send an umbrella in each house, and the water is Evian. Suitable for travel photography, but not everyone is here to travel. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, but it is very cramped. The sewer in the master bedroom is deodorized on rainy days. The bathroom door is close to the big bed. The door is smelly as soon as it is opened. It is nauseous and disgusting. This point is just below the head. The bathroom floor tiles are a bit slippery and not equipped with non-slip mats. The water is small, and it is soft and weak at least 10 o'clock in the evening. The air conditioner in the master bedroom is overhead, not blowing to the face, but noisy. The whole house is poorly soundproofed, the pillows are too soft, there is no bed, all rely on soft pillows, I wanted to sleep well when I came to vacation, but I really didn't sleep well this night. Breakfast is simple. At 10 o'clock in the evening, the street lights were all turned off, but there were hidden dangers when entering and leaving. The service is uneven, and the male supervisor has a more sense of proportion and service awareness. Visually, the three-bedroom villa is much better in space design and privacy, and there is also a mahjong room, which is more cost-effective.

The overall stay experience of ”white time” in Xishan, Suzhou is great! The homestay is built near Taihu Lake, and the window is open to the lake view. The sunrise on the lake in the early morning is particularly moving. The public area is very rich in facilities, swimming pools, KTV, mahjong, billiards are all available. It is just right for friends to build a group to play. The whole house is carefully maintained and the room facilities are brand new and easy to use. The boss is easy-going and enthusiastic, and can help solve problems in time. You can watch the lake quietly empty, or you can gather and entertain lively, come to Xishan for a holiday, it is worth staying.

After much searching on various platforms, this hotel always stuck in my mind, and I finally made it here just before the New Year ended, fulfilling that long-held wish. Its charm is truly beyond words; I just felt pure joy in every way. This place was designed personally by the owner. The serene elegance of a Japanese garden is present in every plant and tree, while the relaxed comfort of a Chinese tea house lets you set aside all your worldly worries. All amenities for food, drink, and entertainment are available: soak in a hot spring to warm up, or sing karaoke to your heart's content. It’s perfect whether you're looking for some peace and quiet alone or gathering friends for a company team-building event. What truly touched me were the wonderful ladies who assist guests. They are genuinely warm and hospitable locals, and their caring greetings and farewells, from my arrival to my departure, left a deep impression on me. And of course, it's absolutely fantastic for photos. I sincerely recommend everyone come and experience this place.

Room: Overall it's OK, the area is large, and the equipment is relatively new. The bathroom is very bright, the functional division is reasonable, the toiletries are complete, and the rosemary smell is very nice. There is no river view, and there is a plastic greenhouse outside the window, as shown in Figure 1, the left side is the front row of rooms. As soon as you enter the door, you can see a lot of scratches on the wall. The sloping ceiling of the second-floor attic is relatively low, so you can see it more clearly. There are bubbles and peeling in many places, indicating that there is a leak. The bathing pool is outdoors on the second floor, which is easy to get dusty, but it is still very interesting to soak your feet, but it's a bit sunny. The swimming pool is not open yet, and the scenery is good. Service: As soon as you enter the door, the aunties who are cleaning are very warm and friendly, and lead us to the front desk. Probably because I went there on a weekday, the front desk staff was really ”relaxed”. At 3pm, I walked in with my sleeping child in my arms. I was so tired that I could definitely hear my heavy footsteps (it was just two meters away at the unobstructed bar counter). The people inside didn't even raise their eyelids, and no one stood up to take the initiative to greet me. There was no care and concern. I had to ask loudly ”Is anyone there?” before they responded. Well, the child woke up, and the relaxing moment I had planned was completely scrapped. I drove for two hours, got off the car, and walked in from the parking lot with my sleeping child in my arms. I was numb all over. Mothers can probably imagine that their children always fall asleep suddenly. But my psychological expectations were completely dashed, and there was no smiling face on the other side the whole time. It seemed that I was wrong to stay in the hotel. In addition, if welcome fruit cannot be guaranteed, why display this option on the booking interface? The next day, breakfast started at 7:30. I went in at 7:40 and still no one greeted me. She didn't even raise her eyelids. The girl was on the phone. So the priority of the guests standing there was not as high as the priority of the phone. At least it would be acceptable to say hello and wait a moment. I ignored it directly. There was no coffee for breakfast, which I had never seen before. I was told to buy it myself. In fact, it would be acceptable if they were more polite. Or there are too many people who are eager to stay here. If the boss feels uncomfortable after reading this comment, please correct it if you have any, and please don't call me.
