"We stayed here during our first half marathon weekend in Stockerau. The location is ideal — close to Stadtpark, Rathausplatz, and the beautiful parish church. Our Comfort Zimmer was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the sauna area, which was perfect for recovery after the race. A very good base for a special weekend in Stockerau."

"Stockerau is a nice enough little town but it is pretty dead and a 14 mile trek from Vienna. Our room was neat and clean, albeit somewhat dark due to poor lighting. The air conditioning worked very well but there was no fridge. The internet was fast and reliable. Our room had a nice balcony and a TV, although none of the 95 channels were British. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was typically poor European fare, the staff were overwhelmed by the presence of two coachloads of guests and the food was not replenished quickly. However, the evening meals were very good, with a wide choice of tasty food options (although the layout of the food area was illogical and led to a couple of crowded choke points). There was a problem with the provision of tap water. It was very hot, we had had a very long journey in the height of summer and on the first night people (quite reasonably) asked for tap water with their meal. The head waiter, who took all the orders personally, provided it but he was clearly unhappy. After grumbling about it for a couple of nights, he ended up charging for it. This is unacceptable and it loses the hotel one star."

"I stayed 3 nights in this hotel and was very impressed with the Old World Austrian ambience of the hotel. Both Franziska and Sabine at reception were very helpful and forthcoming with information regarding my stay in Klosterneuburg. This is a quiet hotel where I could enjoy a good night's sleep and breakfast was full and plenty in the morning. The hotel was across the street from the train station where one can easily catch the train to Vienna which is a short distance away. I will certainly return here again."

"The location was decent, and the app made it convenient to complete the online check-in in advance. The hallway had a noticeable smell, but the room itself was clean, so that was good. I was also happy that the hotel had a laundry facility. Breakfast was okay, but the variety wasn’t very wide, and the dining area felt rather small. Unfortunately, there was a large student group during my stay, so I couldn’t enjoy a quiet breakfast. I was even subjected to a discriminatory remark, which made the experience quite unpleasant. I hope the hotel will consider separating group guests from individual travelers, or assigning different breakfast times to avoid situations like this."

"Absolutely superb resort. The team at Diamond Country club are superb, Professional, Helpful and Friendly- they make the guests feel welcomed and valued. Two fantastic Golf Courses. Fir the non-golfer, around one hour from Vienna (by train or car) and 40 minutes by car from Durnstein. Rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and an amazing shower. Food and drinks in the Clubhouse are excellent."

"Check-in was smooth, and the security was excellent, allowing me to stay and sleep peacefully. I think it's the best quality for a hostel. However, towels are available for a fee."

"This is a brand new hotel; we stayed for a week in early August. The location is excellent: in a quiet and peaceful area. The city center isn't close, but there's a tram stop in front of the hotel, and the metro and S-Bahn stations for the airport are a five-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a kitchenette, coffee machine with pods (provided along with milk, tea, and herbal teas), an electric teapot, and a toaster. The bathroom is a decent size, with a nice, large shower. There's a lovely lounge with sofas, tables, and a pool table, where breakfast is served (a buffet, generous for Italian tastes, but not for other Europeans). The staff is always friendly and helpful."

"The hotel rooms are in dire need of renovation. The rooms are outdated and worn. Upon arrival, we even found a sock from a previous guest under the bed. Outdoor sockets are used for outlets indoors. There was only one power outlet on one side of the bed. In the bathroom, the renovation coating on the bathtub is peeling, there's mold on the edges, and the shower head is a maximum of 1.65 meters high. A positive point is the well-functioning air conditioning. The breakfast is good, as long as you're not lactose intolerant or need gluten-free options. There were three preparations of eggs, sausages, mushrooms, and bacon, all served warm. Also, of course, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, muesli, jam, Nutella, and fresh fruit. Unfortunately, the Kaiser rolls were too hard and dry every day, but the croissants, on the other hand, were good."
