"We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. While there were definitely some highlights, there were also a few disappointing aspects that affected our overall stay.
One of the standout positives was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone we interacted with was polite, helpful, and made an effort to ensure we were comfortable. The overall service was good, and the team seemed genuinely eager to assist.
The food at the hotel’s restaurant was excellent. Every meal we had was delicious, however, we encountered an issue with breakfast. Due to unexpected traffic, we arrived late. We asked if some food could be set aside for us, as we had prepaid for breakfast. Unfortunately, we were told that this request should have been made the night before, which was disappointing and left us feeling a bit let down.
The room itself was smaller than it appeared in the photos online, and we were surprised to find that there was no heating or cooling system—just a fan. Additionally, there were old stains on the bedding, which gave a less-than-ideal first impression.
The hotel has a great view from the top, but unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate during our stay, so we weren’t able to fully enjoy it.
Overall, the hotel has potential, with friendly staff and great food, but there are areas that need improvement."
"A brand new hotel, hospitable service, a large bright room, clean bedding, toothbrushes, paste, comb, shampoo, gel, soap, kettle, water are provided. No air conditioning, but in the mountains it is not a problem, there is an elevator, a swimming pool, on the 5th floor there is a viewing terrace. The breakfast is peculiar, designed for the Chinese, but you can choose what to eat. Across the road there are several cafes with democratic prices. In general, for one or two nights an acceptable option. Transfer to visit the Bromo volcano was arranged through the hotel, everything went as planned. Thanks to the staff."
"First of all, the location of this B&B is a bit far from Mount Bromo. It is not in Cemorolawang next to Mount Bromo. If you are a group of people, this is a good place. You can only ask the front desk to book a taxi or motorcycle for transportation. Other things are OK, but it is on the side of the road. Villas are being built during the day, and it is noisy at night. The environment is good, and it is OK to stay for 1-2 days. By the way, the front desk service is good. They also helped to book train tickets!"
"In the village at the foot of the volcano, it is relatively close to the volcano. The waitress is very friendly. After we watched the sunrise and went down the mountain, it was 11 o'clock, and she still prepared breakfast for us. It is no problem to stay for one or two days for sightseeing, and you can't ask for too much else."
"The location is good, you can sleep until 2 o'clock before going to see the volcano. I live on the second floor, and the wifi signal is really bad. I can't connect to it at all. I can only use my own network, but my own network is not very good, which makes me very uncomfortable, so I only stayed for one night. However, it is very convenient to eat. There is a restaurant inside the hotel. You can have afternoon tea in the morning, noon and evening. Moreover, the hotel is surrounded by mountains. You can see the mountain view from the breakfast view of the hotel, which is also very good. It's just that the network makes me uncomfortable"
"Loveeeeeeee staying at Manis AE. The place is aesthetically pleasing and the temperature is 😍. Service staff is always smiling, helpful and kind. Love that they have hotpot. Their waffles is good too. There's a glass bridge for you to take beautiful photos. Really recommend ppl to come here!
Cons: Pillows are too soft for my liking and toilet walls can be scrubbed more with clorox."
"I didn’t know that the hotel was located within Bromo. It was clean and can’t think of anything to improve. If you are looking for a short travel distance to Bromo places of interest, choose this hotel."
"The hotel is at the foot of Mount Bromo. How should I put it? Generally speaking, we shouldn’t have high expectations for hotels there. The hotel room facilities are really not good and very shabby, but the service attitude is very good and the breakfast is delicious. I hope the boss will renovate the room. one time"
"It is said that the conditions in the Volcano Village are very poor, there is no hot water and some hotels are full of group tourists. I chose a less popular one, which was surprisingly cost-effective and relatively quiet. The key is that there is plenty of hot water (I later went to eastern Indonesia and found out that hot water is not a standard in Indonesia. Many local hotels in Indonesia only provide cold water for showers). The beef soup for dinner is simple but the taste is not bad. I just need to translate the menu on my phone. The hotel is at the beginning of the village. We asked the hotel to help us book a chartered car. The driver had a few words with the toll collector at the entrance of the village, but he didn't collect the entrance fee from us anyway. The hardware conditions are a bit like the guesthouses in China in the 1980s and 1990s, and there are flies and so on. It is normal for Indonesia, and it is definitely not comparable to China.
Our itinerary in Surabaya changed significantly due to flight changes. We contacted the hotel via WhatsApp, just typing in English. The hotel was very responsible and helped to re-arrange the driver to pick us up from Surabaya Airport to Saiwu and then take us to the hotel. The next day, they recommended a reliable jeep driver to watch the sunrise. The price was the standard charter price without any extra charges (departed from the hotel at 3 o'clock and arrived at Kingkong Hill at 4 o'clock, which was much more comfortable than tossing from Surabaya Airport overnight). Not far from the hotel is the entrance to the active volcano. After we came down from the crater, the driver only drove us back to the hotel in 5 minutes. If you don't want to get up early, I think you can walk to the street park across the street from the hotel to look at the sunrise of the volcano, which is more or less visible."

MMENThe hotel is very new and clean. It is actually an hour away from the Bromo volcano, but the hotel conditions are the best nearby. Many breakfast choices! Service attitude is also very good
AAnton tsThe hotel is located in an ideal location for those who want to enjoy the views of the famous Bromo Volcano. The comfortable rooms create a cozy atmosphere to relax after a busy day. The hotel staff is very friendly and always ready to help with any questions. Great place to relax and explore the surrounding area!
UUrsula MaturbongsThe most recommended place if you want to see the sunrise at king kong hill. The receptionist is ready 24 hours. Clean, there is coffee tea. Great, quiet and good for rest too. The reach to the stall is close. Direct view Bromo
