The hotel boasts a fantastic location. UniPark is nearby, offering plenty of dining options. You can easily walk or take public transport directly to Shiquan Street for a pleasant city walk. Both bus stops and subway stations are conveniently close, and getting to Jinji Lake by metro is also very convenient. Suzhou University (Suda) is in the vicinity, making it a great option for families with high school-aged children. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively called us beforehand to provide important travel tips. Any requests we had were promptly addressed. Upon check-out, they even thoughtfully prepared cooling patches for the children and provided complimentary drinking water.

Hotel is super pretty with very scenic views and the Panmen garden is not as crowded as humble admin so u get to enjoy the view and vibes minus the crowd. Was a gd throw in for the hotel to provide the Hanfu + Qipao experience as well but clothing choices for the free experience is v limited. Notwithstanding, i was extremely appalled by the subpar service attitude from the staff, esp coming from a Pan Pac hotel. Needed some help with ordering food on Dianping so I called the operator if they could provide me with a local number to key in.. staff was extremely rude and told me that I had to go to the front desk to get assistance. When I requested for assistance over the phone bcos the room is an 8-min walk away from the front desk, she snapped at me and told me that its not far as my room is on the same floor as the front desk. Eventually went to the front desk to seek assistance and told the staff to deliver the food to me when it reaches but staff did not end up delivering the food. Had to go to front desk yet agn to pick up the food after 20 mins of waiting but it was a complete mess at the pick up with many parcels strewn everywhere and food deliveries all over. Requested for assistance agn but staff just snatched my phone and impatiently clicked away and directed me out to collect the food. Staff from the retail shop selling jewelry/art pieces was also very stuck up n insinuated that we cannot afford to purchase her products as they are v ex. Hotel doesnt use robots since its v big but the robots would probably provide better service than the humans there.

This was my first time staying at a Hampton by Hilton, and its minimalist yet stylish decor, combined with unique artistic ornaments, immediately created a sense of local culture blending with modern aesthetics. The front desk staff provided a warm and inviting environment during check-in, making it feel like a home away from home. **Facilities:** Hampton by Hilton offers a variety of room types, from cozy queen rooms to spacious executive twin rooms, each thoughtfully designed in the signature Hilton style. The high-quality mattresses and bedding are soft and skin-friendly, conforming to the body's curves to relieve the day's fatigue and ensure a sweet night's sleep. The rooms are equipped with very smart facilities, allowing you to easily control lights, curtains, and temperature with a tap of your finger. The smart toilet adds to the convenience of modern living. You can also enjoy afternoon tea from the elegant hotel by the window. Brew a cup of fragrant tea, gaze out, and take in the panoramic views of the Shangyu Development Zone, which is truly refreshing. **Dining:** The breakfast offers a rich selection of dishes, including nutritious Chinese hot porridge, wontons, and noodles, as well as exquisite Western pastries, bacon, and various fresh fruits and beverages, catering to diverse tastes. The restaurant on the 19th-floor rooftop boasts an elegant and pleasant ambiance, and the service staff are warm and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience. **Service:** My stay at Hampton by Hilton was unforgettable! I particularly want to commend the front desk service for their meticulous and warm smiles and hospitality. **Environment:** The hotel is not far from a subway station, making it convenient for travel, and it's also close to large shopping malls and various attractions. **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was excellent; everything was spotless. Hampton by Hilton provides both above-ground and underground parking with ample spaces and charging stations, which is very convenient for self-driving tourists.

I picked this hotel after seeing pictures from other guests, but upon checking in, I realized the service was the true highlight, far exceeding my expectations. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Unlike other hotels that are stingy with bottled water, they proactively and repeatedly offered us more. The welcome fruit and daily complimentary afternoon tea in the lobby bar were a nice touch. I highly recommend trying the free Hanfu experience; the garden offers many picturesque spots for photos. We had already booked a professional travel photoshoot, so we didn't take pictures at the hotel this time, but we'll definitely try it next time. Umbrellas are freely available for loan, and the readily available and responsive service made our stay very comfortable. Right next door to the hotel is an Amber Museum, showcasing exquisite amber pieces that are free to visit. Every afternoon, they also feature live Suzhou Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) performances. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden, which is incredibly convenient. We were so happy to have picked this hotel for our first trip to Suzhou.

This large, star-rated hotel integrates dining, accommodation, and conference facilities. Although it was renovated in 2018, the entire property still feels very new, with both its interior and exterior meeting a standard of four or even five stars or above. The management maintains high standards; the exterior is grand, and the interior is luxurious. The surrounding transportation and living environment are very safe, clean, and convenient. This hotel is an optimal choice whether for dining or staying. We stayed here for four nights during the National Day holiday, and the housekeeping staff cleaned our room daily, replenishing mineral water, tea, and toiletries – truly thoughtful service. Although the hotel hosts wedding receptions and anniversary dinners almost every evening (which seems to be a local custom, unlike Qingdao where such events are usually held at noon with wedding cars, firecrackers, and emcees), it never disturbed our stay upstairs; it was very quiet. Since even locals love this hotel, you really can't go wrong. First and foremost, its high-class ambiance is undeniable. The breakfast is fantastic; the restaurant is upscale, and the variety of Chinese and Western dishes is excellent – delicious and featuring local specialties. We are very grateful for the complimentary breakfast vouchers, which made us out-of-town guests feel right at home. If we visit Suzhou again, this Xiangxuehai hotel will definitely be our top choice. I'd also like to commend the manager, ladies, and gentlemen at the front desk, as well as the welcoming gentlemen at the entrance. From our phone conversations before check-in to the reception after our arrival, your sincere service truly touched our hearts as customers. Thank you, dear hotel.

Before my stay, I was quite concerned about potential noise, given its location right above Guanqian Street. However, once checked in, it was completely quiet – absolutely no noise at all, so there was no need to worry! Everything from the service, ambiance, to the cleanliness earned a five-star rating. Getting to various attractions by taxi was very convenient, and there are plenty of delicious food options nearby. A special shout-out to the front desk staff; the young ladies and gentlemen were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

As a member of Atour, I have lived in hotels across China, and the hardware (super-high-level) of this Atour is really scarce and precious. The hotel is located in an excellent location, overlooking Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake in the east, and overlooking the Grand Canal and Dongwu Tower in the south. The west side is close to Suzhou Poly Theater and the main city of the city to the north. 5～ 6 minutes walk, there are urban public transportation and subway transfer stations. In addition to the service desk, the lobby has a coffee bar and a reading bar, and the cultural elements of Atour are displayed here. Sitting in the cloud reception area, every guest can experience the wonderful ”thousand miles of eyes”. The hotel's breakfast variety is also rich, combining Chinese and Western without losing local flavors. The breakfast room on the 52nd floor brings taste and visual enjoyment to diners. As a newly opened hotel, it is important to understand the experience of the guests. It can help hotel management companies quickly find problems and solve problems. The smooth operation of the hotel's high-speed elevator still has room to improve, the noise of the room air conditioning needs to be reduced, the variety of Atour's exclusive toiletries needs to be filled, and the intelligent control system of room lighting can also be improved. The overall consumption of the market has declined at the moment. I sincerely hope that the hotel operators will operate with their heart and let the flower of Atour 3.6 open in Gusu City for a longer time.

I randomly picked this hotel because it's close to Suzhou Station, and it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel is quiet and features a beautiful garden, great for a leisurely walk or a run (especially since the gym closes quite early at 8 PM). While the room isn't huge, the bathroom is quite spacious and nice, complete with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The Dyson hairdryer was a powerful and welcome amenity. A minor suggestion: you don't need to provide two combs, but shower caps and cotton swabs should be routinely stocked in the room, rather than guests having to ask for them! The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, which is fine, but the quality shouldn't be overlooked. Please stop serving that artificial, processed bacon – it really brings down the overall standard! I have to give a special shout-out to the housekeeping lady. When I needed cotton swabs, she promptly brought them to my room. She had such a pleasant, friendly demeanor and a warm smile. She took away the trash and two small towels. (I had opted not to have my bath towels changed daily for environmental reasons during my multi-night stay). She very politely asked if I needed anything. She even helped me turn on the heated drying rack for clothes, which I wouldn't have known about otherwise! Her service was incredibly thoughtful. (Hehe, I hope her supervisor sees this and gives her a bonus!) I even asked for her name to properly commend her. I'll definitely stay at your hotel again next time, though the gym's operating hours (opening late and closing early) definitely need to be addressed. Despite these small imperfections, I'm still giving a five-star rating as a gesture of encouragement :)

The hotel's location is excellent! It's situated in downtown Gusu District, right by the city moat. There's a bus stop right outside the door, and the subway station is about a 10-minute walk away, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Popular attractions and several major commercial districts are all nearby, and a short taxi ride (often just the minimum fare) will get you to most of them. If you want to take a stroll or grab a bite to eat in the evening, you'll find plenty of convenience stores and restaurants right downstairs. Highly recommended!

Pretty good hotel. Other reviews have said their facilities and rooms are getting a little old and while that's true, the room I booked was acceptably clean enough for me. Nothing grimy or overwhelmingly dusty. The hotel is just a regular city hotel with an impressive looking front entrance. If you want to dress up in hanfu and do a cosplay shoot in their foyer, this would be a good hotel to book when the tourist areas along the canals are too crowded. If you book this hotel expecting a Song dynasty experience, you're going to be disappointed. Staff were nice and helpful, didn't interact with them too much except to check in and check out and ask where their laundry room was. Their laundry room has the fortune of being the only hotel laundry room in China with working dryers, bumps them up automatically from a 3/5 to a 4/5.
