"Great location for the hotel as right on the beach and easy access to all areas to visit. The hotel is clean but very dated although I believe they are working on that. The breakfast was substantial, enough of a choice and very relaxed. Two points of disappointment were no beach beds (even to hire) and no courtesy room to use after checking out and before a later flight home. The chill out bar was lovely though as was the bar on Floor 5, with great views and plenty of comfy seats."

"Our family of three, booked a triple room, the front desk service is good, very friendly, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom water temperature is great, very close to the beach, 2 minutes from the market, a quiet place with few people."

"Location is great.just a short walk to the beach. Snout 20 minute walk to the port where you can get a ferry to tabarca island. Breakfast was great but they wouldn’t even let me take an apple with me which i found a bit bizarre. They would rather throw-it in the bin than let me take it. Rooms and bathroom was very spacious .very polite staff"

"- very friendly staff - it is next to a street but the windows are very insulated, so you don't hear the cars - parking is free outside, but if you want to use the underground park it costs 6€ if you don't have a suite - breakfast looked reasonable for the price"

"Wow great find! Stayed for one night passing through , excellent value, very clean, comfy bed and sound nights sleep. Great place to stay as Hostal Pensimar is a little off the beaten track, that is the charm of this place. Lots of buses and taxis if you dont have a car. The small town of L'Altet where the hostal is has a friendly feel , the locals ”Buenos Dias ” that I was greated with on lots of occasions was fab. The guys who run this family business are genuine, friendly and helpful I was very impressed. Would stay here again if in the area. Did not hear the airplanes at the airport when inside the hostal but outside I did, this did not bother me at all."

"The accommodation is just as it appears in the photos, it is run by a family and they are lovely. Clean and modern facilities. Comfortable mattress but not so comfortable pillows, they should put in more comfortable ones to make everything perfect. Quite noisy in the mornings from the cleaning staff."

"The best thing about this hotel is the sea view, the closest sea view, the most beautiful sea view, you don't need to open the window, it's all along the road, it's so beautiful and shocking, super satisfied. The second is transportation, there is a bus from the airport, C6 goes directly, and the driver is also very good. There is no hair dryer in the room, you have to go to the front desk to get it. Compared with the room price, it is cost-effective. The sea view is invincible. The Mediterranean favors this city."

"Cleanliness: The room was clean but there was a lot of dust coming from the bedsheets and pillow cases or anything that had fabrics for which reason we had to keep the window open all the time. Location: The location is perfect for those who are flying out from the Alicante airport. It’s only 7 mins drive from the airport. Our room was overlooking the beach, so you could watch the sunrise in the morning or even have a stroll on the beach. The walk to the beach was around 10-15 mins walk. The hotel has its own private car park. When you arrive at the gates, the gates automatically open as you park closer to the gates sensor. Service: The check in service was quite slow. There was already a queue when we arrived. The guy at the desk was on the phone and another person in the back office coming in and out of the room. There wasn’t any communication about how long we will be waiting, whilst carrying our back pack after a long drive. After 10 mins the guy from the back office calls another person out and then the queue started disappearing. As for the check out, it was quick and simple. All we had to do was place the key into a check out box and that’s it. Amenities: There was no hot drinks in the room. You had to go downstair to get a hot drink which was included in the room price. The bathroom had no towels or floor mat, which made the floor very slippery when you came out of the shower and also the bathroom has no air ventilator. The room also had a tv that had access to Netflix, YouTube, Amazon prime etc, which u would need to log in using your own account details. All the channel on the TV was in Spanish, even the English movies or tv shows. I didn’t know how to change it to its original language. Downside: I paid for a double room and 1 child bed, but because it was only me and my partner, they gave us 1 double bed where as I was hoping to have two separate beds in the room. I wasn’t happy with that. But because we was tired from a long drive, to then waiting in the reception queue for 10 mins, we both didn’t have the energy to complain and just wanted to rest. So we accepted the room as it was. But was vey disappointed that the room didn’t look the way it did in the picture and then on top of that the fabrics were releasing a lot of dust which made it hard to breathe in the room unless the window was open. But then opening the room made the room cold, so we just had to put up with it instead and be happy with whatever we got for the price we paid."
